"Riiiiight," Wilson started as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I didn't take anything funny that day." He furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm still trying to figure out what happened that day." He briefly stared into the distance before he snapped out of it.
"What? Oh. It's fine with me. What about you guys?"

Ami pursed her lips. Her response was a resounding no. Remarkably no. The biggest no a no could give.
"I'm fine with it," she said quietly.
She'd never be able to go against Wilson.

The summons were completely unexpected, pulling her from the body she had spent months in, back into her own. As the pod door opened, letting in light brighter than her eyes were accustomed to, Reine could only manage a strange, garbled sound, the best she could do with vocal cords she had not used in what felt like forever.
This whole body, rusty from lack of use, felt heavy and clumsy; now and then a finger twitched, as she tried to move her hands and legs, as she struggled to even speak. Only her mind managed to work, slowly acclimatising to the 'new' environment, but with every action she attempted she could only feel the impatience growing, clouding her thoughts: why are you so useless.
It took a while before she was able to even stand, tottering drunkenly around the pod room, crashing into every obstacle possible, until she finally reached the door. By the time she'd reached the briefing room she was suffering from another relapse of too much light in this place; there was no familiar face she could register, not with a hand over her eyes to filter out most of the damage- at best, she could only identify 'chair' and steer herself over to an empty one, where she curled up miserably.
At the very least she was able to take in most of Clarice's instructions, even if she could not yet lift her eyes to stare at the bright white board, or attempt to process the words written on it.
On the plus side: the mission did not appear to involve golems. It was a very big plus.

Leon watched in amusement as Ami got heckled by one of the new trainees.
The shoe was on the other foot, and Leon was Malicious enough to enjoy the torture. His smirk was wide and telling as Ami's no's were practically being shouted from a megaphone, even if they were just inside the girl's head. But Leon knew all too well what that face meant.

Their last Mist mome--oh! Right! Haha. Right, yes. This...would probably be worse than that, to be honest. "I'll take the pain of being hot by some beastie over crippling cramps any day, to be honest." To be honest, Candace would just have someone she trusts at her back no matter their division. As long as they were efficient and damn good at their job she was okay with them. Candace turned to look over at Feng when Syd called for him, giving a small wave and a smile. "Hey there. You can join us if you like, I'm more than okay with it."

Syd smiled at them both. "I would be fine as well. I mean, unless you're looking for a different group." She wasn't actually that picky about divisions, but it would be interesting, she thought. A group of mist working together. How would it work out? What could they learn from each other?

*u* Momma Candace wanted him to be in her group.
He coughed into his fist, trying not to show that he actually was very pleased that someone would want him to join them. "No, no. I'd lo- like. I would like to join you." He shuffled a little closer, definitely making an attempt not to look starry eyed and creepy. It was probably a failed attempt, but he tried.

Whoops, he spoke a little too late. Well, it was no biggie, Tedan could probably find someone else to hook up with fairly easily.
With a smile of confidence that even he wasn't sure was real, he headed into the portal.

"Good. Try not to be too excited, Feng~." Candace teased affectionately, grinning and stretching her arms above her head before gesturing to the exit out of pod room. "Go collect anything you need, runics and all that, and I'll meet you guys at the portal."

Feng tried to look a bit chastised, but the look came off a bit like "large, over-excited puppy." He did manage a very nice salute, however, and took off after Syd to prep for the mission. Prepping he was good at. Missions he could manage.
There was a low chuckle in his head that he vaguely recognized as Shang making fun of him.
What a jerk.

There was a hint of glee in the fallen angels voice.
The moon trainee didn't even let him finish, taking out his phone and texting some of his fellow moon hunters as he made his way to the lighthouse portal.

Tori listened quietly to what Clarice was saying as she hadn't been awake at that time but she had heard a little on what happened. She did find Insanity interesting but Tori didn't like the effects of it when she had experienced something Tori didn't want to experience again if she could.
Yes I do agree with you on that one Lin. She replied to her weapon as she then quietly walked out of the room to head for the lighthouse portal.

Melvin took as much information as he could, wishing he brought a notebook or had studied more, before being herded with the other hunters who all moved to the portal. It was time to see if training and sparring had paid off. With a sinking sense of dread, he entered the portal.
