Naano stayed silent for a few moments before answering, she had to piece this all together. Was she ever going to meet someone who wasn't affiliated with Cattivita, or after Cattivita, or running from Cattivita? Was she some sort of magnet to these people? Had someone taped a sign to her back saying "Oh hey Cattivita, why not come up to me and say hello?".
Finally finding the words, she looked up into the man's eyes as she spoke "My life? Without those people I'd have nothing. I've lost too much to just give up.". Naano closed her eyes for a moment trying to block out old memories "I allowed one person I loved to separate themselves from me, I'm not letting anyone else go." Was that what Naano had done? Did she give up Ryan? "If I'm attacked for staying by their side, then so be it. Even if i die it will be worth it.".
Clearing her throat she continued "But I appreciate your warning, and I wonder why you're in such a position.". She speculated the reasons but could come up with no clear conclusion. "I have one question for you though, why are you telling me all of this? It was unnecessary for you to have asked my name. You already know who I am, don't you?" she chuckled "I apologize, that was two questions.".

Naano returned the smile as she replied "You are wise, I hope that you know that." taking another sip she looked towards her Espeon and Umbreon. "Losing people can change you forever, frankly it almost always does. And this light you see in me seems to only be visible by you..". Noticing his movement backwards she put out her hand as if to grab hold of him but abruptly pulled it back. Why had she done that? Her eyes widened in shock but she quickly shook it off and continued. "And I believe that you can do whatever you feel you have to, it's just a matter of finding those to keep you strong through it. Like your faithful Pokemon." Gesturing towards them she smiled warmly. "But no matter how you go about it I thank you."

At his departure she nodded in reply "I am sure we will.". Naano had no reason to think in the future that they would be enemies of any sort. Perhaps now they were theoretically, but Naano would never make an attempt to attack the man. His heart was pure, that much she could tell, and it was her highest hope that it would stay that way. Something about Lio gave her the idea that he would become so much more in the future.
The Butterfree glided up to her and showed her the exit and Naano pat its head with thanks. Replacing Eva and Shadow with Beatrice and Bulbs, because the pair hadn't been out in a while, Naano couldn't help giggling at their abrupt nature towards each other. Her Ivysaur was wary of the fire type but they soon got to conversing. Strange, Blaziken doesn't seem like too much of a socialite.... Perhaps this would keep her out of Naano's hair, literally.
They had finally made a full circle around the town, as well as quickly catch up to Ayato. Her thoughts raced, would she really be enough to protect him? Even if Wish stayed with them, which she hoped he would, could they all protect each other? She knew Cattivita was strong, and knew that even if their strength was small, their wit had to be much greater to survive.
Naano walked in front of him and gave him a warm hug , simply wrapping her arms around his middle and placing her head on his chest without a single word. Ayato was her best friend, what if he died when it was her job to stop that? What if everything went to hell? No, no negative thoughts Naano. Stay positive.
"Let's go back." she muttered, still in the presently one-way embrace.
