Chandra fell silent, her ear wings drooping slightly as she looked to the ground and gulped. She didn't know what to say or do, she wasn't comfortable with hurting anyone, despite asking for 'training'.... and eventhough she was releaved that she would practise on a sack she had to wonder if it was pointless. "I promise to run first...." She said softly, an image of being cornered, Auva and Zaniah beside her scared and some beast breathing down at them.... could she fight for her kids? She wanted to say yes, she really did... but she wasn't sure.... tears started to bubble in her eyes and before she could stop them they started to flow down his face. She didn't need a lecture, she knew the dangers, had seen her herd and family in trouble enough times... from skinwalker attacks to her father being attacked, even little Auva being harmed due to Chandra's stupidness. Not once had she cried, yet now, all those pent up emotions seemed to come forth, streaming like rivers down her face before dripping like rain to the ground. Her grandparents had died for their family, her cousin was gone, a friend of their family also lay down their life for theirs.... and yet, here was Chandra hesitating once more. Yes, she was more than aware of the danger, she knew things were scary out there, knew that her father and Sonnet wouldn't always be around.... but she wanted to be a strong alpha, wanted to do the right thing for her herd and her family, wanted to be strong and steady for them, to at least not bolt at the first sight of danger. Her mother had led them with strength and calmness that day the skinwalkers had attacked, she had not once wavered in her choice, didn't question her ability or her knowlegde, simply lay faith in everything... could Chandra do that? Would she ever possess that? She was not her mother. She was not her father. She was simply... Chandra.

Renesme smiled softly at her daughter, pleased to see her openly blushing, it was very different to the once closed foal she had been. "Daiki means.... most precious... or of great value." She said softly, "A friend of mine told me if a long time ago.... it seems almost... fitting here. Like a precious little gem, each of your boys will be my precious little gems." She chirped brightly, fiddling some more with the charm.
