"That way." Needle said helpfully, but being as she was mostly blind and practically useless when it came to directions, she actually pointed down the wrong path to the bathrooms.
She then went back to running the game as if she didn't do anything wrong.
Amrita, on the other hand, wasn't taking part; she was just watching. The sound of brawling minipets was grinding on her quickly dwindling nerves, and the longer it went on the tighter the grip on her elbows became.
She was just about to absolutely snap when Danny came by and put an end to their madness.
"MOTHER SALLY, Finally!" Amrita cried out, throwing her arms in the air in exasperation. "I thought the little bastards were never going to stop! Jaaaaack---" A few more curses slipped from her before she seemed to get a handle on herself, and only happily tossed Two festival tokens at Danny.
"Hey." Short and sweet.chimarii No. :T Okay yes. Validating 2x Festival Tokens!

Ren was not usually an artsy-craftsy sort of person, but he really wanted to stop by and say hi to Mei and Amrita.

A creeping pair of hands appeared behind Needle. Slowly they slipped around her neck but ALAS.. twas only her charming boilfriend being a creeper! Muka's giggle broke the tension and his hands slid to her shoulders in a light rub. "Just visiting!" He hooted. The owl boil looked the part of a proper carney in his straw hat and striped suspenders. He greeted all the others as well. "Hello ghouls!"

Luckily for Muka, his hands were tattooed and close enough for her to see the tell-tale glow. That prevented Needle's needles from 'accidentally' sinking into his soft flesh as his hands went around her neck, and left her instead smiling at his antics.
"Muka." She greeted with a happy but soft tone.
"Hey, Muka. Long time no see~" Amrita said, distracted. Something else was getting her attention, and it was apparently unnerving her.
"You smell like straw. And Blood~" She observed easily enough, looking over her shoulder to look at him as best as she could. The Engraver was fairly messy; thanks to the playful minipets she had the occasional paint fleck (or pawprint) on her, glitter here and there...it was an occupational hazard, apparently. "Are you having fun?"

"Hello Amrita! You are looking fantastic today!" Muka was oblivious to Amrita's mood. He would be cheerful regardless. The strix ran his hands through Needle's hair a moment in affection and picked an awful piece of glitter out of it. Yes, there was more, but this one he was able to single out and destroy. UGH. GLITTER. "Oh yes. Lots of fun. It seems I am not the only student who likes to chase scrags." He giggled and clacked his teeth a moment. "How are the.. aahh... arts going?"

"Hm? Oh. Yeah. You...too." Amrita waved her hand dismissively, still quite distracted with the crowd.
Needle let him fish whatever it was out of her hair, standing still for him like a good ghoul should. "I will need a very long, thorough bath tonight." The first night was winding down after all, and she was very messy! He went on to explain about the scrags, and Needle found herself giggling.
"Fancy that! You are well fed today then, hmm?" This time she turned to face him, still enough of a distance to pat his belly without impaling either of them with her spikes. "They are going well! This school has talent~ I would prefer it if the minis would stop making a mess, but alas." The table near her had some papers on it, decorated with calligraphy and what looked like a four-year old's doodle with a crayon. Most of it by Needle.
"I heard there is a booth here with an eating contest! Have you seen it?" She didn't want to leave the booth; it was sensory overload and she stood to get herself very, very lost. Instead she was amusing herself by listening to others.

At mention of the minipets Muka's head turned on his shoulders while his body stayed stationary. He gave the offending minis a bit of a stare down. it didn't stop them but he giggled a whisper to the ghoul so that Amrita wouldn't hear. "Shall I discipline them?" He snapped his jaws teasingly and then burst into more giggles. "I haven't seen it!" He stretched, attempting to see above the crowd. "I've been so busy at the booth. Yin wanted to browse a while so I was being dutiful in my monitoring duties.." Of course when Yin wasn't around more scrags disappeared than should have >.> The strix did puff himself up importantly though. "You and I are clearly the eating champions. We do not need such booths.." He stroked his beard importantly and then burst into more giggles.

Kiwi decided to attempt to calm the minipets again. This time, he returned with a little toy, that rattled as he shook it. The dragon-like mini glanced up, and quickly made a bound for the toy, knocking it from his hands. He was followed by the Lepus, who bounded across Kiwi to inspect the fluffy little toy, leaving Kiwi in a hue of rainbows on the ground. He groaned as he looked at his hands. All he needed now was some glitter, and he would be very Desu-fied.

Kiwi sat up. The two minipets seemed preoccupied with their new toy. Carefully, he reached out a hand to pet the Lepus, earning himself a hard stare and splat of paint to the face.

Kiwi rose to his feet softly, bangles jangling. The minipets turned to look at him. Ah yes, his jewelry rattled as well. He held out a bony arm, shaking his wrist gently, as the two followed the movement curiously. It seemed to be working.
But just then, someone stepped on the rattle toy, causing it to jingle. Remembering it, the pair went running again, splashing fresh paint across Kiwi.
Ah well, at least he had made some progress. He smiled softly. It was probably best to leave the toy with the minipets. At least they seemed to like it, he noticed, watching one mini lift it in a paw. As quietly as possible, Kiwi exited the booth.

Trying to calm down two rampaging minipets wasn't Heidla's best idea this evening. The fact she manages to find a good language with some minipets does not imply she could reason any minipet, and those two were probably really bad ones. What else can explain that one of the infamous pair actually stabbed with a syringe? Is it was a student, the priestess would definitely kill the right there.

Needle shivered at the sound of his snapping teeth, his lowered voice. Augh, really, Muka? Really? "That...might not be such a good idea." She murmured sheepishly, feel silly for being so affected by him. He really did make her feel like a little ghoul.
"Yin! He was here a while back, he is rather good at calligraphy~" It was good to recognize someone by name, though it was mostly a guess on her part seeing as the boil never answered her when she asked if his name was Yin.
"I have not been to other booths." She admitted, distracted for a moment by pawing some paint off of her hair; nice green paint. "I fear it is too busy for me." Despite that she didn't seem sad to be missing out; she was, but she was having just as much fun here.
"I do not mean to keep you." He had a booth to help fun after all! Of course, that didn't stop her from patting his cheek...with her paint-covered hand.
Hah.

He was soaked from the dagger booth already, he figured, might as well try to solve the one booth's continuing minipet problems. He was not very surprised as he arrived to see them still having their little minipet art fight. Really, someone ought to make steel cages for them and keep them separated. Or just let them eat each other. that would work right? Probably not very well but then, King was not the kindest Minipet Owner. He was more practical and ran on the mind of only the strongest survive.
Probably why is Never Melt Morning Frost had been with him so long. Bug Jr was just... lucky. Very very lucky. Still, these minis were not his minis, he would try to help. He didn't get far however, as various sharp objects were thrown in his direction. An eye roll, he was not going to play that game. He was just... going to go back to his booth, and get rid of the water via the snow.

Freya didn't know what to do anymore. She looked a little lost, and really, the only thing she was good for at this point was trying to help others with their booths. So she found yet another booth that had minipets running around in it, and stopped by to help try to catch them. Or at least.. stop them from ruining the pretty booth with their mess.
