And there was something that both Soren and Alexander could agree on. Sal was weird. Still, one did not just turn away a hug, so he very awkwardly wrapped his arms around the man and gave him a gentle squeeze. He really wasn't quite sure why he was getting hugged, however, but it did feel good. And then, of course, his mom came back around the corner. ".........Alexander?" She asked, pleasantly, eyeing the large horseman who was about the same size as her husband, only possibly not as broad, who was getting up from the ground to leave. She did notice that they were both eating the candy apples that she had made, and that was a nice surprise. Though she had to wonder why his parting words to her son was nothing more then "Behave." Alex let go of Sal, hoping that the horseman would do the same, the back of his neck suddenly feeling quite warm. "Oh, hey mom! You're back!" Heh...heh.. ....great.

"Is that a threat?" Sal called after Soren with complete innocence, chuckling as the other Horseman kept walking. "I will see you later!" He decided; and yes, it was a threat. Ba ha ha.
He let go of Alex as Alex let go of him, but his was a lot more casual of a release than the Zomboil's. Red eyes focused almost sleepily on the woman who was approaching, not quite finding her of any interest until Alex called her Mom. Now that had his attention!
"...Zombies have Parental Figures?" He asked Alex in open astonishment before turning back towards the woman, settling in a greeting sort of bow; he might not have been in his robes, but he still had enough trinkets and baubles to clink almost happily with the motion. "A pleasure, my sweet lady, to meet a Parent of dear Alex."Seussi I meant every word and I regret nothing in the use of them.

It was time to dance once more, and Poke had a few ideas as to how she was gonna do this. Jumping onto the board, she wasted no time in strutting her stuff, grinning broadly as scored combo after combo, all the while just having a grand old time, and thankfully she wasn't tripping over her own tail in the process.

Nothing says it's time to dance like a mothboil on fire, right? Exactly. Phil got up on the dance pad, arms flickering with flames. He got off warmer than when he'd arrived. Wait- that wasn't what he wanted.

It was.. it was not going to be easy.
Freya stepped up to play another round, jittering with excitement - and picked a random song this time. Just like with rock band, she felt like trying something new, but when the song came up, she made a wary face. There were a lot of symbols there she didn't understand.. and horses.. and as she danced, she felt very silly..
No, Gangnam style was not the best DDD song there was.
But Freya tried her best.

Points: 25 Sn: Soarin`
Ok new day new game. He went over the the song list and picked 'Who let the werewolves out?' Danny was more involved with the fact they hadn't translated the barking correctly then he was with where his feet were going. He got the low score of 25 when he was done. Well that kinda sucked. Oh well.

Once more the duo found themselves at the DDD booth. Perhaps the dog and horse could not bear to stray too far away from the glowing arrows and music. “How abit we tak’ anither try at this?” Dev suggested to Fallow before she gently tugged him back toward the booth and stepped up to play the game. Her eyes intently watched the arrows and while she didn’t do quite as well this time, it was still decent.

Fallow liked this booth.
It was fun, active. Things flashed, and there was sound and shiny lights and best of all, Dev dancing. Trotting after his friend to the DDD set-up for the second time, Fallow's ears quirked to the people all around, watching in mild fascination as they tried their luck and found their rhythm. Of course, Fallow was about as musically inclined as a rock, but he still loved it, even if the only thing he was good at was breaking things.
Waiting his turn patiently, Fallow grinned and danced forward to spin Dev around once she was done before jumping onto the platform, picking a song he'd never heard of before, and waiting in nervous excitement for the music to start and the arrows to flicker up on the screen. He wasn't as bad as last time, thankfully, though he wasn't exactly... well, good either.
"Hmm."
He bounced back once he was done, right into Dev. "That was fun, yes, so very fun."

Oh look, Alexander was talking to a horseman. A perfect time for Yin to try out the game again, because it had captured his attention the first time. Then, he realized that Lady Van Rotte might look up and see him being ridiculous and faltered, but he managed a decent finish.

Don't worry Yin, Lady Van Rotte's attention was completely occupied by this very tall man in a suit who was hugging her baby boil like he knew him far too well. She had no idea that the man was in fact a horseman, because he was wearing a suit and could have been any number of creature, but to her looked like a teacher and wasn't hugging students like that just a little inappropriate? Judgement from those steely, dim grey eyes as she looked first from the horseman, to her son, and then back again. She inclined his head towards him when he bowed at her, her lips pressed into a firm line. Alexander probably should diffuse the situation, as he recognized that look in his mothers eye, and it would be best for everyone involved if he did so. "Yes, my mother. Mom, this is Salbei. He's a horseman from famine, and...a friend?" He glanced up at the taller man. His mom seemed to relax a little, but not by much. So her son was friends with horsemen? Friendly enough to be receiving hugs from one? Now she was just a little concerned. Though he seemed charming enough. "It is nice to meet you as well." She finally replied, gaze moving back to Alexander. "Though my son's never mentioned that he had friends among your kind." Of course, Lady Van Rotte wouldn't have noticed Yin, but Alex did. It was like he had some kind of weremantis approach sense, and his head turned in the direction that the other boil came from, before he snapped his attention back to his mom with a tight feeling in his chest and stomach. He might not be Senpai, but he noticed you Yin. He noticed you. "Ya, mom, sorry I don't give you a list of all of my current friends, but Sal helped me out once, when I lost something that was really important to me." He hoped he said that loud enough, his words sounding bitter even to his own ears. Stupid Yin. Stupid festival making him see him all over the damn place. And now his attention went back to Sal. "Of course I have a parental figure. She's my mom. I was born out of a pumpkin." Unlike pretty much every other zombie at the school, and even those ones generally had adopted parents of a sort.

Yin tensed at the voice, not fully eating it but hearing the tone. All that was needed. It did not need to be spelled out to him that his presence wa undesired, even as a mere participant at the booth.
Quietly he slipped away, back into the crowd.

"Friends. Yes." Salbei confirmed to Alex's hesitant use of the word. Other terms came to the Horseman's mind, but considering this was the boil's Mother perhaps it wasn't the best idea. The woman's hestitations towards him were met with a never-changing smile. He was used to it of course, but he did find her distrust of him to be absolutely adorable. Especially with her use of your kind.
"It is a fairly recent friendship, my dear." The sudden increase in Alex's voice was noticed by the Horseman, and he looked around to see who it was intended for, spotting Yin in the distance. Ah. Well, okay then. "Yes, I was happy to assist him." He brushed it off with a wave of his hand. "You have a fantastic son, my dear. He is quite kind and very helpful. I still owe him for helping me out when I first arrived here, actually." No Alex, he hadn't forgotten about the Alpacas, and yes you were still getting them.
"A pumpkin? Fascinating! Was it difficult?" One of the many things he didn't look into was how Halloween reproduced. He was always too busy making viruses or making friends to care how Halloween reproduced.
