And then Alistaire was back.
With one pack of cards already tucked away into his pocket, he carefully picked a second up, eyeing it with a great deal more concentration and examination than one really should look at a pack of Halloween Heroes cards before slowly slitting open the top and pulling out the cards.
Most of the cards were some of the same he had gotten the previous time, which pleased him, but there was also one shinier one, with the label "DEMON: Arel."
How intriguing.Pepzilla 95 = Tier 2 or Tier 1 mini! Could I get a Griftrix please > w> <3 minis > kuromizuki

Danny was there camping out for another pack of cards. He had been so lucky the past few days he had really hoped he could get lucky again. Soon as the booth opened he was there once again to get his new booster pack. He grabbed one then opened it. Though to his dismay they all seamed to be the worst cards in the entire deck. Oh well at least he had some starters to pad his deck with.

Sylas had been quietly skirting around this booth all night, at once eager to see what it was and afraid that he might be seen doing so. In the end, his latent nerdiness won out. Stifling a giggle of pure, forbidden glee, he grabbed a pack and impatiently ripped it open hoping for a rare card or, Jack willing, a sweet hologram. But nope--he flipped through the cards, recognizing most of them as ones he had already. "Hey, I didn't, uh, win," he told the guy running the booth. "Can I snag a promo card anyway?" He would definitely have to come back later.

She eagerly picked up another booster pack and accidentally ripped it to shreds with the excitement. Whoops. At least the cards were still intact?

The mothboilpeered about the various booths, looking for the posters of the teachers and stuff at the academy, tring to find the right one. "A-ha! Here! It's over here!"
Phil's antennae twitched and flopped backwards as he looked up at Ace, receiving another pack of cards. "Thanks!" Preparing to open the wrapping, Phil watched Carrol, tucking his wings tightly behind him. "Careful! There are cards inside." Thank you, Captain obvious. "If you open it too fast you might get a paper cut." The mothboil was quite certain this other boil had fingers given, well, they were visible.
"Looks liiike~ I got two okayish ones this time. You want them?" The boil had said he'd give Carrol his winnings. While they weren't much, it was a start.

Observing Ace's reaction, Eisheth actually regretted she decided to trade away Jack card... may be she should have thought twice before doing it. Such cards as this could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance, but, it was done already, so alas. Meanwhile, the alchemist slowly came to realize she's getting more and more interested in cards: what started as a pretending and showing off mostly became a real interest: it was simply like drinking coffee, once you tried it you get more and more addicted. Her next pack was probably not that good as a previous one, but hey, nobody gets Jacks all the time. - six common Flashlight items in a row (47, 74, 38, 78, 42, 6 cool - one common All My Friends Are Dead card - the irony of this card's name actually made the horseman shiver (14); - uncommon monster Avery Chase (86); - uncommon ghost Cricket (90); - a strange card that should be holo rare according to the markings and the layout. It is simply labeled "Pumpkin Pill". Eisheth was quite happy with her cards: all together it was a good foundation for the collection. Perhaps, she would be able to get more rares trading with other players: she believed in her luck, and were not hesitating trading out rares for something she was specifically interested in. Except for the last card, a Pumpkin Pill: she never actually heard about it, and wasn't sure about it rarity... " Is it worth anything?", she addressed Ace. " I've never seen it before. If so, I'd be glad to trade this away". Pepzilla I would love a token please! smile Also, is it ok if I keep all the cards she ends up with in her journal, since she ICLY collects them? Thank you!

from hereStill pondering how snow could set him on fire, Carrol followed his arm, eventually ending up at Ace's booth. He took his own pack of cards, echoing Phil's good example and thanking the greed demon as he ripped open the foil with more care than he'd ever ripped open anything in his life. He examined his cards very seriously, holding them up to the light and turning them over like he had just unearthed them from a prehistoric mine.
He had no idea what any of them were for.
The monster looked over Phil's cards, and even though he still didn't have any clue what it all meant, he did notice that the other boil had two of some cards. Maybe he didn't need more than one? "I'll take a couple doubles if you got 'em. And when I get doubles I can give 'em back to you. Or we can rip them up and put them in a jar and get, like a kushi-kushi to swim around in there." The best part of this booth wasn't the cards, anymore. It was Ace's reactions! She loved seeing him get all excited over trading in the good cards. So she opened up another little packet, to see how she could excite Ace today. Nine commons.. and one Cricket. She pocketed all the commons, and then looked at Cricket. Then she looked at Ace. Then she looked at Cricket. Then she grinned deviously and put Cricket in her pocket, too. Pepzilla Quoting for consolation prize + teasing!

TG liked booths for free stuff and candy. Mainly candy. He was on the prowl for sugary sweets, and stopped at a booth where a demon was just GIVING stuff away. Walking up, he stood on his tiptoes to be seen, and took one of the offered packs. Cards? Well, collectibles sometimes became more expensive with time, and he tore the cover to look through the cards, pausing when a shimmering card of Jack Skellington was looking back at him.
Turning, he looked back to the demon. "Fancy. Production value is rather high." He commented. His eyes were staring at the candy bowl by the demon.Pepzilla ((Other Numbers - Candy 100 - GOD CARD-Jack Skellington - Tier 3 SE and 2 tokens))

iizbot You tried! (also YAY MORE COLLECTORS @W@ The actual playable game sometime either end of meta or after meta depends- I think I might go ahead and start doing students cards soon!) santime I verify your token! (yea dude go for it, I encourage it since there will be an actual game eventually. Though she'd prolly have a hard time playing with anyone but students xDDD ) "Miss Lady Luck, my sweet," Ace cooed at Marigold "Please stay at my booth all day~" that debonair demon accent slipped through. He really did want her to be his mistress of fortune. Her and that Eisheth- speaking of which... "You are absolutely too kind to me. I'd love to keep the both of you here by my side forever~~" he smiled at the horseman. "The pumpkin pill holos are pretty rare but not as rare I'd say as the characters from this series. Pumpkin pills are rare because in-game they revive a fallen character card and can give you an edge in battle." So mostly like the real things.
Then Ace was addressed by a witch ghoul who also had a sparkling treasure for him. While he fanned himself, Ace gave Bella her prize in exchange for the holo Arel. "Goodness me, goodness.." he gasped. "You ghouls should go out and get a minipet lottery ticket, I swear." Rubbing his gnarled fingers together he waited for Poke to finish opening her cardpack. "Aww see now that is some bad luck. You'll turn something up sometime," he nodded reassuringly. After all, he was likely to be the new owner of whatever rare she'd find.
Accepting Aedan's Pumpkin Pill card was not tough at all for the greed demon. How brilliant of a stand he'd set himself up with. "A minipet for you and-" Ace cocked his head at Aymet who left with his cards in tact. Hmm, must have been really excited about the cards themselves.
Alistaire's find wasn't shiny, but it was good for deck building especially since Ace had the special Arel card that they upgraded to. "Enjoy~" he handed off the boils' mini. Danny's especially atrocious luck actually made the greed demon snicker where he stood. Turning to Sylas[/b[ the blue-haired boil nodded. "A promo for your effort-" he handed her, Mayaa and Phil each tickets.
Then he gazed down at Carrol suspiciously while he suggested to Phil the demise of the card doubles. It was okay he supposed as long as they weren't worth something. Everyone needed to throw a good fit every once and a while.
and then there was she..
With her strands of lovely hair like the gold reserve of his father's and the sapphire blue of her eyes~ The lovely lady luck that enchanted his booth with her Midas touch. What good fortune could she bring to him today? Ace leaned out of his chair and pressed against the booth to see what she'd pulled from the wrapper. Elusively she kept each card out of his view and the anxiety building in the greed demon became painfully obvious as he tugged his collar.
AND THEN SHE ******** COCKBLOCKED HIM FROM THE CARDS??!
Ace's jaw hung open. "H-hnng-"

While Freya insisted on teasing him, Ace would be assuming it to be a decoy for the real fortune she brought and that was in the form of TG. As the other demon handed Ace the Jack Skellington, his eyes darted from the card, to TG, to Freya, to TG, to Freya, to the card and back to Freya.
"...please stay..."
Ace whimpered for a moment as he put the card away then handed TG his tokens and prize, grinning. "I see you are also a boil of high class taste hmm," he made as a side-comment. TG wore a very expensive looking coat as it was, Ace could see that. Regardless of his size Ace associated him with those of higher stature anyway and looked very pleased to have made such a transaction.

TG reached up, stretching and deciding it was just irksome. Then, in a puff of smoke, he appeared atop the booth top and picked up a candy or 5 and sat, holding the ends of one of the candies, pulling at both ends, and unwrapping it to pop one in his mouth. "Thanks. This game pretty popular?" He asked, looking at the cards as he savored the candy before biting into the hard candy with his sharp teeth.
His eyes flickered to Freya, and he smiled. "Hey, Freya. Your little friend around?"

"Yes, today I've had more visits than I could possbly count. Didn't really expect so many who didn't recognize the game though," Ace sighed and leaned with his hand to his cheek. Freya was already walking away but when she turned around he perked up immediately.
"You should stay and we can open all of these cards and find so many rares and then sell them and split the profits 70/30-" Ace was more like a SPEED demon as he proposed the idea to the valk.
