There was really no excuse. Soren's aim was awful. Of course if anyone asked he would swear it was because it didn't matter.
He was almost disappointed to see that he would not be getting a third hat, and then he got something better. A wooden sheriff's badge with the words "you tried." The smirk that filled his face made it obvious that he was planning something.

Soren was not going to talk about the first round of ammo. Or the second.
He didn't really want to talk about the third.
He took the badge, slightly disappointed that it wasn't a hat, but taking it wordlessly and then turning away, prizes in hand.

Luck was something the wolfos needed, especially as he continued to miss the targets. He might get better with practice, but, he was all over really. The smell of mushrooms had his head turn, tail giving a small wag as he noticed the familiar face. "Jove! We keep running into each other." He gave off a few more shots, hoping he was doing better- and he smiled, the tragets actually being HIT. "Maybe you're my good luck charm Jove." He gave a small laugh offering the gun out to the pup. Good luck charm? Jove's ears perked, and he accepted the gun with a curious face. As long as he didn't accidentally shoot himself or anyone else it should be perfectly safe to give a scareling a gun, right? The ears swiveled to listen to Frost and Mot, before eyeing the display. So he was supposed to shoot things there? It seemed simple enough. Except he was caught off guard by the first shot just the way Frost had been. The pup dropped the gun on the counter and gave it a good stare. Just to be sure it wasn't going to do anything crazy... For a minute or two it looked like he was going to leave it right where it was, but once he was sure it wasn't evil or alive or anything, the pup finished his rounds. And then frowned at both Mot and Frost for startling him with that gun thing.

Frost stared at Mot. "......." Then he looked back at the targets. "Something tells me that in comparison to you, I'd still fall short." He rubbed the back of his head. It had been luck really. Jove's first shot had the wolfos's tail puff up before he looked over. Yeah, maybe he should have warned the foxfire. "You've never held a gun either I take it?" Judging from the look he was getting no, Jove had never done it before either. "It's.. a bit alarming the first few times but you get a bit used to it." This, coming from the one who had puffed up at the shots fired so close. Drifter Jet Enduro Frost Can draw him in suit if you like ouob

Micail made his way back to one of his favorite booths. He smiled at Mot as he walked up. "Back for more." He gave a grin as he stepped and prepared to take his first round. "So Mot. How are things going to day? Good i hope?" He didn't see a problem talking wile trying to hit the targets.

Danny pulled Yin along and stopped in front of Mot's booth. Good old Mot! She'd never really had a conversation longer than a few minutes with the boil, but he was just one of those people she liked.
Besides he had guns.
Guns that she knew not to throw this year!
She picked one up and started firing haphazardly. Giving Danny a gun was a really, really bad idea you guys. "POW POW POW," she shouted like the five year old scareling she was. "Am I doing it right Yin?" she said, a big goofy smile on her face.

"No, I still mess up every once in a while too, you know." Mot said to Frost with a chuckle. "Well, the photo booth is right over here, so feel free to choose a costume and pose for the camera." Mot informed him, gesturing to the adjacent stall. Oops. The gunshots scared Jove? Gee, they were just pellet guns! Mot smiled uncertainly, rubbing his neck. "Sorry about that. But good on you for giving it a try."Micail returned, and Mot gave him a friendly wave. "Welcome back! The day has been good to me, yes."

"Fairly well Miss Danny, it seems as if you have won a hat!" He reached out and snagged a plastic hat to present to her.
It was a good thing they were here now, he felt a bit odd. At least Alexander was...not alive but as close as an undead could be, and seemed safe. That was important, and there was no way they could both go to Amityville and ignore each other.
So letting Miss Danny distract him? That was fine by him.

Danny smiled as Yin put the hat on her head, but the smile fell into a frown as she realized it wasn't going over her horns any time soon. She frowned. This was just like with Roch's jester hat. They just didn't make hats for the horned.
She sighed and put it back on the rack, picking up the gun again. She fired it just as badly as the first time, and got nearly the same score. Apparently she wasn't as quick a learner with guns as she was with archery.
Seeing as she won that hat again, she stuck it on Yin's head and said, "It looks much better on you!"
