"You practically scared the ******** moonlight out of her so back off," Shun hissed, dropping his controller again to try and shove the Valkyrie away. Incidentally, his kart went over the finish line with this. He hadn't really been paying that much attention to the game as a whole anyway. And then there was Freya all up close and personal. The hood on her hoodie tugged back dangerously and Mitsu flailed to keep it in place trying to keep her head hidden.

Freya tumbled back at the shove, landing on her rear and using her hands to keep her from falling back further. She looked so unbelievably sad as she lost the fluffy, cuddly Mitsu from her arms, and she just sat there, sniffling, about ready to cry.
Then she made grabby hands at Mitsu.

Shun shot a glance towards Mitsu for a moment to check on her. It looked like she was trying to huddle away. Or something. Couldn't Freya see that she was making her uncomfortable?
"Mitsu, come on, let's go," he muttered, not really wanting to deal with this any longer. He got on up and offered his lycan a hand so she could stand as well.

The hood was drawn in tightly around her face, Mitsu turning with a wide eyed stare to see Freya on the ground. Her gaze went from Shun's hand to Freya's grabby hands and back to Shun again. W...what was she supposed to do? She wanted to go with Shun but Freya looked like she was going to cry.
So instead Mitsu got watery eyed herself, shifting in place awkwardly not sure what to do.

Shun was taking Mitsu away, and Mitsu was not fighting it.
So Freya keeled over to one side and died of heartbreak.

Shun stiffened a bit when Mitsu seemed to hesitate. Furthermore when she began to tear up as well. Well. It looked like she was. Freya being overdramatic was not helping and she was creeping her way up on the list of 'I'm going to murder you one day' alongside with Mac and Titus with this behavior. Twitching in irritation, he let his hand drop.
"Fine. Go to her. But she isn't worth shedding tears over acting like this," he muttered before shoving his hands into his pockets. He was annoyed and he wanted to get the hell away from Freya right now but he really did not want Mitsu to be upset.

And now Shun was upset. There was no winning.
Slowly Mitsu eased her way over to Freya, flailing a bit in uncertainty before she lightly patted the ghoul on the shoulder in a 'there there' gesture. This was comforting right?

"MITSU! YEH DOES LOVES ME!" Freya popped up happily, as though nothing was wrong, and hugged the poor ghoul around the middle. Then she got up, and carted Mitsu back to Shun, wrapping her arms around both of their waists. "Let's go gets some treats, ja? There is lots of yummies here. I don't thinks I will eats more, but I will shows yeh the best coffee booth, and some scarecones, and.." She went on, and on, as she led them out of the booth.

When Freya snuck back in later, she was all ready to test her skills out and play alone. But she saw the challenges, and grinned mischievously. She could beat Ren! She just knew she could! She was just that amazing at this game! Right? "Come on lucks, don't fails me now.." She was quickly getting addicted to the game. Or perhaps she was just addicted to winning. She was off to an AMAZING start. All she had to do was keep that up, and she was golden.. "Badger badger badger badger.." Apparently, that was still stuck in her head from earlier. This wasn't looking good. Even as fast as she was going, she was quickly running out of time to beat Ren's score. She didn't think she could make it. How could he have gone so fast, anyway? So close though! She continued to zoom on by, determined to do her best even if she couldn't manage to beat the top score Ren had set up. She didn't like failure.
