Soren glanced over at Tseng as the horseman attacked the barrier. He knew what kind of fighter he was, well he had seen glimpses. The hunters were in for a nice surprise. "Having fun Tseng?" He returned his focus to the barrier. Damage: 9 Distortion: 4 Turn: 3/5 Barrier: 49

Biting his lip for a moment, Deryk soon took in a deep breath then went on and helped fortify the barrier some more. They needed to keep the shield strong. The division leads would be here at any moment right? If they could just hold out... maybe none of them will have to die.

Wilson wasn’t a moon. He was death, but a hunter had to defend when he had to defend. The trainee crouched low, his cannons grazing the ground as he eyed the horsemen. He nearly went bug-eyed when a particular horseman managed to deal a killer blow to the line. That was not good, definitely not good at all. The hunter had to hastily lean back to avoid an oncoming blow from one of the creatures. Defending? Ahahahaha not right now kay.

Well, Wilson was thankful he was at least good at dodging things. He straightened his back and went back to supporting the barrier. A cannon-covered arm idly fiddled with his mask. Most people would probably wonder how this was possible, especially with the blades attached to the cannons’ ends.
Lots of practice, pain, and boredom. That was all.

Ceres thought they were doing...pretty well.
Until suddenly the onslaught REALLY began. The barrier started to waver under the pressure, so she went back to concentrating to get the thing back up.

It was silly to celebrate so early into the fighting, but Mort hadn't been able to help himself. It was technically his first "attack Hunters in a barrel" experience and a pleasurable one at that. Thus he had grinned his bloody grin and clasped Mei's hand -
- and then the sound of dislodged stone and dirt echoed above them. Before he could react the zomboil was pelted and nearly brought to his knees by the debris, coughing as he pulled himself out of the mess. Mei was gone, and for a moment Mort just stared at the area she used to be. And then, thankfully, she heard her call his name as well as the horseman's, and he relaxed.
Briefly. Then the real onslaught began. Pushing fist into open palm, he gave a sharp nod towards the jiang shi as Medea's power restored his flagging energy. And immediately Mort went back into the fray, electrified fists pounding against the barrier.

Faint metal dents appearing on his armored gauntlets as Aymet slammed his fists into it, again and again and again. The churning, burning feeling had faded from his bones, but his hatred for the hunters had not.

Ryan cringed as both the horsemen and the creatures of Halloween tore at the shield. It was like fending off a pack of rabid dogs, who were only inches from your face. It was extremely intimidating for the moon trainee. But that fact also served as a good reason to keep the barrier intact.
