Akumi nodded. "You'll get used to it, considering we have other students here that have other talents," Jean said with a smile as the half closed door to the dining room opened due to her telekinesis. Akumi blinked. "I've seen stranger things than telepaths and teleporters," he said softly as he pushed off, vanishing in a blur of gold and black. The wind kicked up blew both Jean's deep red hair and Ororo's white hair around as he shot past both of them, skidding to a stop a few feet short of the bald man in the motorized wheelchair. "You must be Professor Xavier," he said dryly. The man nodded. "You have some intriguing abilities that remind me of another student here, Vincent Freeman," he said.

"Is there lots of people here...?" Twila asked Jean and Ororo. It was called a school but it was definatly quieter then other schools.

Jean smiled slightly. "Quite a few other students, such as Scott, Logan, and Forge, though they are more faculty than students now, with what's happened lately. Kitty, Rogue, Kurt, and a few others including Vincent are around. I know it was Kurt that surprised Akumi before," she said. "Logan, last I heard, was out on the road... he does that sometimes, while Scott and Forge are probably in the basements," she said with a slight shrug. "Are you gonna come in here or talk in the hall all day?" Akumi said with a grin as he stood there, his foot tapping slightly as if impatient; he couldn't explain it, but he felt as if he were on a constant adrenaline high, but he decided to wait for the other three mutants to come into the room before he sat down. Ororo cocked her head, looking at Akumi. "Trying to be a gentleman, are you? It's not too bad a try, I'll admit," she said with amusement.

Twila relaxed abit. It didnt seem like too many people from what Jean said. "S-sorry..." Twila said to Akumi and went into the room so he had one less person to wait for.

Akumi smiled slightly, flicking an arm casually over Twila's shoulder, brushing a sensitive spot between her wings and shoulder blades without realizing it. "It doesn't bother me... I'm still getting used to my powers, both normal and... new," he admitted. Jean and Ororo followed both of them. The former sat just to Professor Xavier's right, while Ororo sat closer to both Akumi and Twila, the former of whom sat closer to the opposite end of the table.

Twila shivered and blushed abit when he brushed the spot. She quickly shook her head and her feathers fluffed up, she looked slightly annoyed. She hated when that happened and she was mostly annoyed with herself.

Akumi shifted, moving his arm away when she shivered. Ororo glanced at them, then at Jean. "I'll bet in a few years, you'll be very beautiful," Akumi said thoughtfully. He glanced at Professor Xavier as a girl in brown and dark green, with a white streak in her dark brown-black hair, walked in behind the bald telepath. "Ah was startin' ta get hungry, so Ah decided ta see what was for lunch... Vincent's helping Kurt with Amanda," she said with a strong Southern accent. She blinked her dark green eyes upon noticing them, clearly not recognizing them. "I have a feeling that Akumi will be having more than a few girls interested in him without even trying," Jean privately murmured telepathically to Ororo, who laughed softly.

Twila forced her feathers to lie down and kept her wings closer to her back. She looked at the person who just entered the room. Twila waved to them trying to be abit friendly.

Akumi saw the girl wave back, a small shy smile flickering at the corners of her mouth. "Ah'm Rogue... what's yer names?" the girl said, blushing slightly. "Akumi," Akumi said quietly, shifting slightly in his seat as his tail slid free, waving slowly in the air. He didn't seem to notice it at all; in truth, he didn't even realize he had a tail in his humanoid feline form. It looked similar to a normal cat's tail, but more fluffy. A low gurgling growl, almost like distant thunder, sounded. Rogue blinked, looking around. "Ah don't think the news mentioned rain," she remarked. Akumi ducked his head, blushing slightly.

"Twila...nice to meet you.." Twila smiled alittle. She looked at Akumi remembering that sound from eairlyer. "Well you don't always believe what those weather people say all the time do you?"

Akumi noticed Twila looking at him and blushed slightly more without realizing it as he grabbed a sandwich. Rogue chuckled. "Not really; in mah experience, sounds aren't always what they seem, 'specially with Ororo around," she said. Ororo sounded faintly insulted when she sputtered a quick "hey", though it was obvious she was amused as well.

Akumi saw the Professor lift one hand slightly. "Feel free to eat, we have plenty of food," he said, referring to all of them. Rogue grabbed a couple of sandwiches as a brown haired girl with brown eyes walked in wearing jeans and a pink tee shirt. Her eyes spotted Akumi and she blushed bright red for some reason as she sat down with a seat between her and Jean. "What has yah blushing like that, Kitty? Were yah looking at your posters again, or maybe looking at Piotr shirtless?" Rogue teased. Kitty shook her head, mumbling something. "Could you repeat that, sugah?" Rogue said. "I said I accidentally walked in on Cat-boy there getting out of the shower!!" Kitty blurted, her cheeks almost crimson, she was blushing so badly.

Twila wasn't really hungry so she just listened to the conversation. Twila wondered if the girl named Kitty was going to die. Faces normally didn't get that red.

Akumi snorted. "At least I had a towel on... though I'll probably lean towards browns, tans, and golds with clothes... blue just clashes too much... red isn't too bad, though," he muttered. Kitty yelped as if startled before she looked at Akumi, her blush fading. "You don't have any clothes?" she said, an odd gleam in her eye. "Borrowed these," Akumi said simply.
