Luke set his pencil down, because she told him that there was enough food. He then picked it back up and started writing the pizza down. He wanted to replace the food that they had last night. His eyes then darted up when she started to talk about the mushrooms. "Mushrooms are good. Leave them alone." He told her. He wish his cook was here to make her a delicious breakfast from them.

Miranda looked at them and carefully placed them back in the fridge. "Alright. I'll leave them for you. I'm alergic." she in formed him. As long as she didn't eat them, she would be fine. She turned back to cooking, they were almost done so she pushed down the toast. Suddenly the cat jumped up on the table and started to meow. Miranda looked over her shoulder and smile. "I wondered where you went. You hungry?" she said. "Oh, that's right. Cat food."

Luke started to write down several cat supplies. Food, litter, treats, a litter box, and toys. He knew a bit about raising cats. "My mom has a cat." He commented. There had been several times were the cat ended up on his bed at night. He frowned. It was too bad that she couldn't have mushrooms. There were so many things that she was missing out on.

Miranda watched him as he wrote the stuff down. Darian louged across the counter, obviously miffed at being ignored. Luke must have noticed her attention to his list because her explained his mother had a cat. She smiled. "That great. What's his name?" she asked. "Ok you. Of the counter. I'll feed you later." she told Darian, shooing him off. She pulled the eggs of the pan as long with two slices of toast. She slid it in from of Luke.

Luke smiled as the food landed on his plate. He wanted the meal greatly and was hungry. He put the list to the side as he started to chow down on the breakfast. "I don't know, I think it's Hamlet." He answered about the cat's name. "Not back." He added about the food that Miranda cooked. He then leaned over and wrote several new things on the list, most of it booze. "May as well be able to get drunk.

"Thanks." Miranda said with a grin. First try wasn't so bad. She took her own portion. Tasting it she realized he was right. It wasn't half bad. She rolled her eyes at the booze comment. "I suppose." She was much for lot of drinking. She'd found on quickly she couldn't hold much liquor.

Luke smiled at her. He had to get the drinks. "At least we could say maybe we'd sleep together if we were drunk." He joked. That was just one way he could get their parents to let them have some drinks around the house. It would certainly pass their time a little.

This made Miranda flush, but she laughed it off. "You wish, Ladies Man. Or maybe I should say. They'd wish." she chuckled slightly. She began to pick at her food. "I wonder how much of this my parents know about. Or if they thing they've just hidden me away with a suitable huband." she muttered.

Luke laughed at the woman's comment. "It's easy for you to say it. You're a virgin. Once you do it can't go back." He commented to her. It meant that he could be tortured by not having a play toy. He then listened to what she commented about her parents. "I think they are clued in on everything that happens to you. My parents would want someone who would join them in making sure things happen." ((I have the weirdest friends))

Miranda was suddenly reminded of all the times her mother spoke of wanting lots of grandchildren. She groaned and rested her head on the table. "Let's hope they never resort to desperate measures." she mumbled. (How so?)

Luke let out a laugh. "I think they did already? The only thing they haven't done is give us some type of drug to make us want to play paddy-cake." He pointed out. That was the only thing that was separating them from it the extreme. They already put to people in the middle of nowhere for the sole purpose of blessed baby making and with lots of things that they could use to spice up the romance. ((They tell me all the sex related things))

Miranda laughed with him. "Your right." she agreed. She looked out the window. "What time it the maid suppossed to get here?" It was already late morning and she had yet to put on some normal clothes. (Ah... Well, I suppose it's good to be informed.... Though I know I have a friend like that ^^; )

The door opened as an old lady came walking through the front door in full-view of the couple. She smiled and walked over. "Martha." Luke called out in excitement. The woman looked at the man. "How are you guys doing, everything well?" she asked. "No. I'm trapped in the middle of nowhere and I don't think we can cook." He answered. "Well I can ask your parents to come by to make meals and leave in the evening then, but it'll take another day to get permission. So you'll have to survive today."

Miranda stood and held out her hand. "I'm Miranda, though I'm guessing you knew that." she said with a wry smile. "I hope you are able to come back. We could both use some tips on cooking. And cleaning...." she trailed off. The maid looked sympathic. Then stiffed as she looked at the stove. "Well, first tip. Turn off the stove when you are done." she said doing just that. "You don't want to set anything on fire. And don't leave the kitchen until you're finished." She laughed nervously. She'd forgotten that.

Luke passed Martha the list that the couple had come up with and the woman took it. "Please tell our parents that we can't do everything ourselves. We need lesions first." The man begged his maid.
