Despair turned towards Emma suddenly, something she had said would seem to upset him, though his face didn't really show it. "Only cowards would hide from their enemies. Demons that flee from battle and hide from enemies are nothing more than humans, but with weaker hearts and even weaker willpower." he told her. Though he didn't seem to be speaking to her directly only stating it out loud for some reason. With that said, Despair turned away and looked around, "Say, Miss Cat, have you heard of me before?" he asked.

Hearing Emma, Despair would smile, "I figured as much. Atticus doesn't really like speaking of our history." he told her, before looking away. "You see, Despair is..well...he is like a close friend of mine." Despair stated in Atticus' voice, yet another one of Despair's little tricks. "That is what he would say, but in truth, I was once part of Atticus. I used to be his hatred, his fear, his sadness, his despair. We shared the same body and same mind. I was him and he was me." Despair would tell her. "That's who I am. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Cat." Despair had an odd way of introducing himself, hell he himself, is a very odd and confusing being. "What about you, Miss Cat, what is your connection to Atticus?"

"Should I call you kitty then? I much prefer that, it is way more adorable." Despair said in response, though one could tell he was just joking around. "A comrade, you say. Atticus has many comrades, but only a few friends. So I suggest that you and Herald, say your goodbyes when you next see him, for it will be the last time." Despair told her, rather cryptically. "As I stated, we are connected and right now, Atticus isn't going to last for long. This time, when he dies, he will stay dead, unlike in his fight with Herald." Despair didn't seem too concerned about Atticus, despite telling her that he was so close to him.

Despair chuckled at Emma's remark about him calling her kitty. "I believe I now understand why Herald seems to have fallen for you. You can be charming at times." Despair stated before looking away. "It seems that love does in fact, change a person. Whether it be for better or worse." Despair sounded a little sad as he spoke about love, but almost instantly, he would be back to his normal self. "Well, either way, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving in of your boyfriends attacks. Though I have a feeling that it won't hurt that bad."

"Someone sounds like they are not in a very good mood." Killian said in a sing-song voice, grinning for no apparent reason. Taking a seat on the foot of the bed, he patiently awaited for the serious business to kick in. Hearing the three argue was like listening to children argue. He had to admit though, the man was quite the agitator.

Abilities:
+ Skilled Combatant
+ Soul Resonance: Can synchronize soul wavelength with meister. By doing so, together they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle.
+ Shredder: Spinning the scythe above the user’s head like rotor blades, lifting him/her, and surrounding enemies, higher into the air before a whirlwind of blades that slash at surrounding enemies.
+ Feed: Killian becomes powered with energy when striking enemies continuously. Once fully charged, Killian is able to do double the damage with all attacks.
+ Senrigan: An ability used to quickly map out an area, linking together the vision of multiple individuals. This technique works by allowing its user to see far ahead of whomever he is synchronized with. This can be used at long distances, but the greater the distance there is between Killian and the individual he is synchronized with, the less he is able to see at their location.
+ Earthquake: By driving the weapon into the ground, Killian is able to send out a traveling shock wave forward.

"It may not look it, but I am far stronger than I appear." Despair would say in response to Emma's remark. As he was about to speak once more, he would be interrupted by a small raven, which had landed on his shoulder. The raven looked over towards Despair and not surprisingly, it spoke to the demon. "Despair, I have made all of the necessary preparations, as we've discussed." it told him. To which Despair smiled, "I see, if things are set, then all that is left is Atticus, himself." Looking towards the raven, Despair nodded, "I will handle that little problem, myself, Abel. You have my thanks and I will be looking forwards to seeing how this works out." With that, the Raven would seemingly vanish in a flash, leaving only Despair there. "Sorry, for that. I just had some business to discuss with an colleague of mine." he told Emma.

He just seemed like a suspicious guy who looks like he would mess around with things for his own amusement. She kept a neutral expression as he spoke to her again "Gotcha." she replied simply.

As Emma moved out of the way, Despair's hand would stay there, motionless in the air, for a few seconds, before he lowered it and looked over at her, still smiling. "Well said young one, I wouldn't expect any less from a demon of your caliber." Despair told her before he moved even closer and placed his hand directly on her shoulder, testing her even more. "Can you honestly say that you are satisfied with just him alone? Aren't you the least bit curious about other things?"
