Being small had given Ofelia one slight advantage and that was the ability to hear much better than she thought she could as a human. Or maybe that was just because she was an animal period and the ofie-kushi turned her head as she noticed more movement in the area. The fur about her neck bristled as she moved to stand up, the time up to that point having her on her back on Deryk's snout. She moved enough that she placed a paw between his eyes, her own sort of narrowing as she listened in.

"Deryk. . . that one over there's'a horseman. It kinda said so itself, which is hella dumb ta do right off." She pointed with her other paw in the direction of Eisheth, and as soon as she motioned she forgot to pull her arm down and instead kept it pointed. "The reason Ah'm sayin' is, ya wanna ignore it too like the birdie or jus'. . . uh, Ah dunno." She kushi-shrugged. "Jus' thought Ah'd brin' it ta yer attention."

"You know what Deryk? I wont be violent with you now." he said abruptly and gave up the chase, leon's hopping gradually died down into a soft bounce. "Because you just made my day."

whether he meant that cael was a minipet, or got slapped by said grumpy minipet, it was for the dog thing to decide.

"Have you seen the others in that case?" he began to ask, curious if jerry became some kind of alcoholic fluffy thing.

He had to admit, it would be one hell of a thing to see. "Ofelia, stop waving your flat fuzzy a** at me, its not cool." he said deadpanned, or at least as deadpanned as a kangaroo could.

Deryk couldn't help but shake his head a bit. Just trying to look at Ofelia while she was sitting in between his eyes was kind of difficult. At least Leon had stopped chasing him at this point. That was a relief.

"Dun think we should be bringing attention to ourselves. Nope. Not comfortable fighting like this. Feel weak. Better lay low. Find shards. Get the hell out," he said to the hamster, then looked to the kangaroo.

"Uh. Saw Gale. Maybe Petra too. Hadn't managed to spot anyone else just yet. ... That's on our side at least."

Soren was beginning to realize the distinct disadvantage of this helmet. If he was looking down at all his vision was significantly impaired. And he did not intend to walk around with his head tilted to the sky the whole time either. A noise seemed to be directed at him though, so he raised his head a bit to peer out from under the rim.

"Soren," he answered shortly before tacking on another crucial detail, "Death." He eyed the adorned creature with a measuring look before lowering his head a bit. "Do you know how to get out?" He was certainly all for getting out of here if they got the opportunity, especially if this Famine horseman had any leads on how to escape. And of course, there was always safety in numbers. Not that Soren put any of that into words.

When Deryk shook his head the hamster held on as best she could, squeaking with a little protest as she clenched her tiny paws against his snout. It wasn't enough to throw her (thankfully) but it had made her nervous enough to clamp down. When the shake stopped and he spoke again she scrambled back up onto his head, maybe poking him in the eye with her back foot in the process. "Oops." She would have felt bad if it weren't for her lack of empathy in this small form.

Then she heard Leon shouting. "Mah butt ain't flat, Ah jus' dun got a tail! Show off!" Ofelia fumed as much as she could fume which actually meant a few unhappy squeaks here and there. "An' sure Deryk, whatever ya say." It was a bit sad that not everyone seemed to accept their body as quickly as she had or maybe it was because Ofelia was so used to denying everything that she passed this off as a hallucination and just went on her merry, merry way. "What should we do then? Explore? Wait fer 'nother monster ta show up?"

Alex had fallen asleep again. Really, being able to do that was just absolutely wonderful. He didn't even know a battle had occurred or anything about any glass shard because he was just too busy snoozing away, dreaming about things that he could never dream about before.

And still feeling a lot like he was missing something, somewhere, and that he should probably get up and try and find Yin at some point.

....Maybe just five more minutes.

The Adventure Dome suddenly got very quiet, strange dark clouds rolling above the landscape almost immediately as the skies turned a murky grey. It seemed the native minipets immediately knew what was wrong as they squealed and scattered left and right in fear, leaving only the oblivious behind. The air felt colder, stiller, and something odder began to happen.

Christmas music began to play in the background.

The clouds too began to churn out snow and from the distance, something stirred. Something white, lumpy and-

Actually looking relatively pleasant.

MINI BOSS FIGHT: THE HAPPY YETI

Stats:

Attack power: Does 3 auto damage when you hit it
Element: HOLIDAY
Special attacks: Happy yeti just wants to play with you! It throws icicles in the direction of all players because it is so happy! It wants to happily impale them! Special attacks may be used on the yeti, fire attacks do three times damage t it.
OOC notes: This does not take up any battle turns as this is a boss fight! Players have unlimited turns

See, Ofelia hasn't spoken too soon because as soon as she mentioned another monster coming another monster appeared and that wasn't cool. She was still weak from attacking the first monster and doing a really bad job of it but HEY OFELIA! It was time for an adventure! The kushi-kushi practically launched herself from Deryk's body and bounded for the creature, doing her best to dodge the icicles that came her way. One of them got her back leg, sending her a bit to the side, but she still managed a strong hit.

The end result was an amazing impact because she somehow must have been surrounded by fire. It was amazing and her little soft blow was three times as strong!

Of course she still felt like poop, this wasn't a good thing. Did she have enough in her to attack again before the monster got more moves going?

That struck Deryk as something being incredibly odd since this was tied with Halloween, wasn't it? Blinking, he turned towards the direction the sounds were coming from, noticing clouds rolling closer that were churning out snow of all things.

And then..

It showed up.

"Ok. This is getting really weird. ACK!"

It might have seemed harmless if it wasn't throwing icicles at all of them. Letting out a sigh, Deryk ran on towards it and attempted to bite down onto its foot.

"We got this! Let's...keep goin'!" Ofie-kushi charged at the monster again though this time an icicle got her too close and she skidded backward, her body just barely making contact with the yeti before he flung her off.

She bounced a few times on the grassy ground before she tried to push herself back up. The end result of that attempt was moot as she felt her small hamster legs give out beneath her and she once again tasted the sweet, sweet grass. This was really, really frustrating.

"Ah...dunno if Ah can get up." The ground muffled her words, sadly, but she did manage to raise her head and look at Deryk. "Ya go an' finish it in mah place."

Wow, so pathetic.

Wait, there was something happening. A disturbance that he could not ignore. Soren lifted his head, found the source, and without even a "by your leave" took off to go headbutt the thing.

He had to run for quite a while to do so, which turned him into a rather effective battering ram.

Alex was awakened by an all too familiar sound invading his eardrums that set his teeth on edge.

Uh-uh, nope, not today! Today was a day for sleeping and awesome dream times!

He got up, marched forward (stumbled), then turned and gave the Yeti thing a good ol fashioned paca kicking.

And then got stabbed with an icicle.

There was a yeti! A .. Actually, what was a yeti?

Saya narrowly missed an icicle, although the tip of her tail told her it was very very very cold.

Cold .. She might have tried to slide over to the yeti, in an attempt to tell it that throwing icicles was not a move that would make others happy.

Ofelia was getting angry because the yeti was still standing and she was. . . well, not standing. She was nibbling away at the grass though, it was so tasty, and she raised her tiny paws up and looked at everyone. ( she had grass in her mouth too )

"TAKE THAT THING DOWN, AH GOT PLACES AH WANNA GO AN' Y'ALL ARE TAKIN' TOO LOOOOOONNNGGGG -"

And then she went back to eating grass and being in pain.
