cael as a minipet

CAEL AS A MINIPET.

"You know what Deryk? I wont be violent with you now." he said abruptly and gave up the chase, leon's hopping gradually died down into a soft bounce. "Because you just made my day."

whether he meant that cael was a minipet, or got slapped by said grumpy minipet, it was for the dog thing to decide.

"Have you seen the others in that case?" he began to ask, curious if jerry became some kind of alcoholic fluffy thing.

He had to admit, it would be one hell of a thing to see. "Ofelia, stop waving your flat fuzzy a** at me, its not cool." he said deadpanned, or at least as deadpanned as a kangaroo could.

Soren was beginning to realize the distinct disadvantage of this helmet. If he was looking down at all his vision was significantly impaired. And he did not intend to walk around with his head tilted to the sky the whole time either. A noise seemed to be directed at him though, so he raised his head a bit to peer out from under the rim.

"Soren," he answered shortly before tacking on another crucial detail, "Death." He eyed the adorned creature with a measuring look before lowering his head a bit. "Do you know how to get out?" He was certainly all for getting out of here if they got the opportunity, especially if this Famine horseman had any leads on how to escape. And of course, there was always safety in numbers. Not that Soren put any of that into words.

Alex had fallen asleep again. Really, being able to do that was just absolutely wonderful. He didn't even know a battle had occurred or anything about any glass shard because he was just too busy snoozing away, dreaming about things that he could never dream about before.

And still feeling a lot like he was missing something, somewhere, and that he should probably get up and try and find Yin at some point.

....Maybe just five more minutes.

See, Ofelia hasn't spoken too soon because as soon as she mentioned another monster coming another monster appeared and that wasn't cool. She was still weak from attacking the first monster and doing a really bad job of it but HEY OFELIA! It was time for an adventure! The kushi-kushi practically launched herself from Deryk's body and bounded for the creature, doing her best to dodge the icicles that came her way. One of them got her back leg, sending her a bit to the side, but she still managed a strong hit.

The end result was an amazing impact because she somehow must have been surrounded by fire. It was amazing and her little soft blow was three times as strong!

Of course she still felt like poop, this wasn't a good thing. Did she have enough in her to attack again before the monster got more moves going?

"We got this! Let's...keep goin'!" Ofie-kushi charged at the monster again though this time an icicle got her too close and she skidded backward, her body just barely making contact with the yeti before he flung her off.

She bounced a few times on the grassy ground before she tried to push herself back up. The end result of that attempt was moot as she felt her small hamster legs give out beneath her and she once again tasted the sweet, sweet grass. This was really, really frustrating.

"Ah...dunno if Ah can get up." The ground muffled her words, sadly, but she did manage to raise her head and look at Deryk. "Ya go an' finish it in mah place."

Wow, so pathetic.

Alex was awakened by an all too familiar sound invading his eardrums that set his teeth on edge.

Uh-uh, nope, not today! Today was a day for sleeping and awesome dream times!

He got up, marched forward (stumbled), then turned and gave the Yeti thing a good ol fashioned paca kicking.

And then got stabbed with an icicle.

Then Alex kicked at it again, because it was still there, and it was still annoying.

And he barely grazed it, fell, and face planted in the snow and ice.
