With feelings that Kuro had no idea on where they were coming from, He continued to rush in the opposite direction of the door with the funky lighting while screaming. He also didn't know why he was screaming, he just had the feeling that he needed to scream. His whole body was showing sighs of panicking, but Kuro just couldn't figure it out. He was creeped out by what was going on at the door and the weird voices/noises, but it wasn't so scary that he needed to scream at the top of his lungs. Even so, this un-told complete fear was driving him further and further away from the creepy door. Ether way, he needed to calm down. That was always easier said then done though as most cases he could explain things, but this time there was no explanation to anything. He tried to rationalize what was going on in his mind, but he knew that it wasn't going to be easy. 'OK... calm down... it's just a really creepy door that had a odd flickering light above it... what is so terrifying about it?' His body had finally stopped running, but his legs were shaking and his skin was much paler then before. It quiet honestly look like he'd just seen a ghost or something. Ether way, he was in no state to be moving anywhere for the time being. Trying to take a seat, Kuro was replaying everything in his mind. First was a light childish laugh which was odd, and then there was that dark presence that also gave him a serious case of the willies. There was also that light in which was just flickering right in front of the door itself which added to the complete weirdness of this senario. Something was going on, He'd never been this scared of anything in his life before and there was nothing that his mind was letting him remember about that scenario that would make him so scared. Suddenly Kuro's breathing pattern forced him to stop thinking about the door way as he was now hyper ventalating. Closing his eyes to try and focus, he took a deep breath and held it for a moment. His diaphram was trying to draw in more air to his lungs, but with Kuro holding his breath that wasn't going to happen. Just before it started to get hard to hold his breath, he started to slowly release his breath and started to gain some control. Quote: Progress: 2/10. Attempt 6. PC: 49 :: SUCCESSAs Hizen pulled on the two opposite ropes, the ropes slipped against each other and the knot he had tied in the middle unraveled and the ropes came apart. ”Damn. I really wanted that one to work on the first attempt. What was wrong with it that time? It kind of looked like the knot wasn’t tight enough. The ropes did slip after all. Hrmmm… Let’s try again and try and cinch it tighter.” Hizen carefully ran his hands along the rope to make sure that the ropes didn’t have any kind of grease or lubricant on it. ”I wouldn’t put it past the instructors to grease the ropes with something, after seeing the way they prepared that ring. I can believe they’d do what they can to make your knots fail easier.”Finding no obvious substances on the rope, Hizen laid the ropes out to try again. The diagrams for this knot weren’t as detailed as the others that he had tried, but Hizen had a good idea of how the loops fit together to form the knot. ”Now I just need to make sure I get it fitted together tight enough that it holds, but not too tight so that the ropes are damaged.”(202 words)

Albeit a little shaky, his next attempt held some sort of semblance. A headache was blossoming in his skull from staring at the images in the books for so long. With a sigh he picked at the rope, undoing the knot and redoing the knots he had learned thus far. He repeated step three until he felt like he could consistently make the knot, before once again studying the book. Glancing outside he wondered what his other classmates had been up to, the odd announcement piqued his interest and the scream had only served to heighten his curiosity.
Closing his eyes he could still hear the scream echo in his ear, something he would be certain to ask the girls about later. That is, once he finished this damn knot. Looking back down He realized dejectedly that he was only about halfway done. Turning the knot in his hand he examine it carefully, referencing his picture and continuing onwards. As he worked he picked up more about how the rope would react to small loops and even the slightest pull. Every now and again the loops would slip out of his fingers and he would have to start from step one, but Takuya if anything was stubborn.

The slowing down of his breathing was helping, only slightly though. Taking another deep breath, Kuro waited on his heart rate to start to slow down and his diaphram to stop spazzing out on him. His body showed all signs of this panic and he couldn't even tell that since there were no mirrors around him. One thing that he could tell though was that he had a crazy chill that was driving into his bones. This was majorly odd as the weather outside and in the building was actually fairly warm, so why he was so cold was strange to him. Slowly, Kuro stood up and started to look around for a bathroom. Once standing though, a sudden was of dizzynes hit him like a ton of bricks which almost caused him to fall over. Bracing himself against what ever wall he was close to, Kuro started to think for a moment. 'Jeez, I've never been this scared... ever. What on earth is happening...' With that thought in mind, he continued to want to go and find a bathroom. What he wanted to do was splash some water on his face so that he could get a hold of his senses possibly. His breathing was still fast, but it was also heavier and not so much hyper ventilating any more so it was more controlled. It was controlled enough anyways to get himself moving again, even if the movement was slow going. Lucky enough for Kuro though, there was a male bathroom quiet close to him. Stumbling into the room, he made for the sink. Once there, he plotted himself into a standing like position and turned on the water. It was at this moment that he could finally see what anyone else was seeing, and that would be that he'd lost quiet a bit of color from his skin. This shocked him a bit, but with the water running his mind snapped back into reality of that very moment in time on what he was wanting to do. Cupping his hands under the running stream of cold water, Kuro paused for a moment as he got himself ready for the water. Once ready enough, which wasn't really ready at all, he brought his hands up to his face and exhaled as the cold water was pushed onto his face. The water gave him a startle even though he knew it was coming, but that was the whole point of this. "U-uhm well." One of them studdered. "It seems we have one more student to be enrolled, ehe." He finally answered using his head to motion the the adult sized girl behind them. "We arent really sure on the details." The other started "but it would seem they found this girl living out in the wilds nearby. Says they want her trained for some reason." He finished with a shrug. The more nervous one spoke again "W-well I guess we'll be leaving the rest up to you." He said with worried smile before he and his partner took off. Roswitha sharply gazed over at the man that stood before her with her blue animal like eyes. She could feel confidence coming from him and the urge did not rise. The redhaired girl lowered her head in submission in response. Though her glare remained sharp. The look he had given her unnerved her but she refused to show it. Kokuhatsu did not seem to care for the mans look either. The black wolf though calm kept a stern gaze towards Yoshinaga. Though the wolf may be out of its element it would not dare show any signs that would make it look weak or tamed. Then again it would not act in a manner that would cause itself trouble either.

Finally halfway finished through the steps Takuya smirked. He was halfway done with this struggle and he would be damned if he would finished completely last. Through the silence of the room he could hear the other student mumbling to himself, and checking over his progress Takuya realized that he was fighting with the rope. He hoped he hadn’t looked like that during class, and although he was stuck after class doing extra work he figured that the extra practice would be good for him. It was getting to the point where the first few knots were becoming second nature. Because of that, as Takuya unknotted the rope and re-did the first few knots, he was able to glance out the window and observe the front of the school.
There wasn’t much going on today there were few to no people wandering outside, and he assumed that with the message over the intercom many of the students had already headed home. Any level-headed student would be wary of messages like that, but Takuya was far from level-headed, and his curiosity was eating away at him, causing him to be slightly more fidgety than usual. Snapping out of it he turned his attention back to the book in front of him.

It seemed his concentration being broken had hindered his progress, and soon he was left with a lump that was barely recognizable in his hands. He wasn’t quite sure how he had gotten the rope to twist and turn in the way it had on itself, and undoing the knot took away quite a bit of time. Mentally slapping himself he carefully went over the steps in his head, thinking through the motions needed as he unwound the knotted ball. Pulling the string taught in front of him he wrapped it around his hand, flexing it as if working the rope like that would give it more leeway. Of course his mind was in other places.
Physically shaking his head he pushed those thoughts away, he had to focus on this task. As he worked through the beginning stages of the knot, he mouthed to himself the steps he had to take. Once he got back to the stage he was on, he referenced the book again, and it had been a while since he had given it a good look-over. Eyebrows knit together, this step was fairly tricky, involving more loops and a very specific pull through. He would have to be cautious.

Quote: DC: 50-6+[(5+15)-10]/10=45 65-FailA bead of sweat trickled down Jynn's cheek. He wasn't sure why it was suddenly so hot in here. Maybe it was because he was growing impatient with this exercise. Maybe it was the heavy atmosphere caused by the scream. Whatever it was, the entire room felt intense. The boy held his knot in progress with a finger, wiping the sweat from his brow. He took a slow breath through his nose and chewed on his bottom lip as he went back to work. The blond kid had stopped working, and Jynn was so used to copying, he had to work just a tad slower. A knock on the door broke the kid's concentration and he pushed away from the rope in frustration. Jynn followed the teacher with his eyes, wondering what the sudden disturbance was. Some people stood at the door, but Jynn was too far away and too uninterested to hear what was being said. He was slightly agitated at being interrupted, but he wasn't ready to quit his forced break either. Jynn let his eyes travel to the window, looking out for nothing in particular, just letting his eyes rest. He let his fingers drum on the table, giving them a break from the monotonous motions.

Winding up with the same ball of knot as last time Takuya was getting frustrated one more. “******** it” he growled, getting up and tossing the mangled rope in the garbage before procuring a brand new rope to work with. He didn’t want to bother with having to figure out how to untie that mess again. Rolling the crisp new rope in between his fingers he wrapped it a few time, to stretch the fibers so tying it would be easier. Putting it down on his desk he picked up the book, maybe there was something missing.
Flipping the page Takuya looked ahead, perhaps the next image would give him a clearer idea in his head how he would execute this next step. Finally putting the book down he gave it one last glare before picking up the piece of rope and tying it, getting it to the point where he knew he was unsure of what to do next. Maybe he was twisting the rope the wrong way? Leaning down Takuya attempted to turn the piece of rope in the opposite direction he had been before, hoping that this would solve his problems. He wasn’t quite sure what he would do if it didn’t.

((I dont really know what to do... but she's not gonna take off running when something seems that off.))
Shiro found herself headed towards the door. She was curious, so she didn't realize it was somehow outside of her control. However before long something started to seem off. Her ears flicked as her eyes opened wide it, felt like the walls and floor were moving. What was going on? She picked up a voice she heard in the class through the door, she said something about the it being creepy. It bothered Shiro that she did not pick up exactly what was said, and she realized when she looked back to see who spoke it looked as if the hallway extended for forever. She let out a light nervous yelp before looking back to the door she had been walking towards, it looked so far away. What was going on here? Her eyes narrowed as she knelt down some a low growl escaping her lips. She leaned forward some, and just as she was about to move she heard Bou give out a loud bark, followed by a series of yips and yaps. She tipped her head looking to her little fox-like dog. “What is it Bou?” she questions, her hair still standing on end, feeling extremely nervous, but she knew to listen to Bou if he had something to 'say'. She stopped in place and slowly closed her eyes, Bou said something about it sounding wrong, and smelling weird. Her ears perked back and she started to sniff at the air once again. If Bou was right something would smell off. As she sniffed and listened something struck her odd, it looked like the walls were moving, and the floor was stretching, but, she didn't hear anything of the sort. So maybe she could tell what was going on better if she could pick up a scent? Bou continued to growl and whimper some as he tried to figure out what was going on as well. However being a dog he didn't rely on his eyes like most human beings did, so the strange sounds and scents were really what was bothering him.

The boy looked to his right, confusion evident on his face. Sitting next to him was a brown skinned girl, with black hair pulled into two pig tails. She had a cute face that was accented with a small frown. “It's very distracting.” Jynn looked away from her and started to work on another rope. “Don't jealous of my sick beats.” He muttered back, tapping his foot against the wooden floor. The boy made it half way through the knot when he felt something bounce off of his head. He looked down as a ball of paper fell. He looked back up to the girl, her eyebrow raised and her arms crossed. “Could you stop throwing things? It's very distracting.” The girl stuck her nose up, her bouncing slightly. “Don't be jealous of my mad aim.” Jynn grumbled words that a kid his age shouldn't know, and went back to his knot. The nerve of some people. He should be allowed to drum if he wanted to, whether she liked it or not. Jynn placed the finished knot with the rest, his foot no longer tapping, despite his reluctance.

Yoshinaga nodded his head and motioned for the girl to come inside, "There is rope and instruction manuals in the back. It is expected that you tie ten knots before the end of the day." He said with a gulp before returning to his seat and bringing the book back to hide his face so he could read, pausing only to glance up at the girl occasionally.

Apparently attempting to reverse the loops was a bad idea, but Takuya, understanding how he had gotten the knot wrong was able to undo it rather quickly. As soon as he was about to make another attempt, his stomach growled in protest. Surprised by the sudden sound Takuya looked down, moving his wrapped hand to his stomach. Right… he had yet to eat. Putting the rope onto his desk Takuya rummaged around his bag until he produced a small snack, while he had more in his bag he was never particularly hungry. It was probably why he was so lanky in appearance.
As he scarfed down the food, he was careful to keep everything clean. Looking at the images before he finished his headache was in full bloom, pounding at the side of his head and just serving to piss him off further. Getting up he tossed the trash, taking a few moments to stretch out before slumping back in his seat. He would not be beaten by something as silly as a small piece of rope. With a grown he glared at it and pulled it to his face as if it was a person.
“Listen ********, you will DO what I want you to.” His voice was just a whisper, inaudible by all but the few people who were sitting close to him.

Waiting for a moment, Kuro could feel the blood come back to his face. There would have been a sigh of relief, but unfortunately his breathing wasn't in it's normal pace. First thing first though, and that was to get the blood circulating in it's normal place. But in words that Kuro knew, he didn't want to look like he'd been completely drained of all color out of his body. Cupping his hands under the tap once more, he felt the cold water accumulate into his hands and pour over the edges and through the cracks of his fingers. Taking another deep breath, he brought his hands up to his face and let the water splash against his face once more. This shock seemed to be working as the color seemed to be coming back into his face, and the face that he was no longer dizzy was a great bonus as well. With all of this weird stuff happening all at once though, Kuro could feel his throat drying up. There was a easy solution to that problem though. Placing his hands onto the sink, the young student lent forward and started to take a drink from the still running tap. Surprisingly though, the drinking of water seemed to help his hastened breathing to slow back down to normal. Taking a deep breath and slowly letting it go, Kuro figured that now would be a good time to collect his thoughts on what exactly was happening with him and why he was so scared. He didn't see anything nor was anything he heard threatening in any sort of way. Wiping his mouth and forehead with the forearm of his long black shirt, he continued to think on exactly what was going on. Nothing was making sense, and this was actually starting to slowly creep a sort of curiosity into Kuro's mind. With all of his faculties back, the small male decided that staying in the bathroom wasn't the greatest of idea's. Walking out of the boys bathroom, the young Yamanaka continued to think about that strange door, and as he did the more curious he got. He wanted to go investigate, but knowing the effect it had on him once before he really didn't want to have to go through it yet again as the feeling of being so scared that your skin turned white and made you scream like you were in a horror movie of sorts was definately not worth going through. So for now, he'd stand and ponder over what he was going to do. Pulling the rope away from his face he realized with a start that he was talking… to a piece of rope. A little horrified at the prospect his headache only intensified and pushing through the pain he continued to tie the next rope. Surprisingly his little ‘pep’ talk to the rope seemed to have some effect as he somehow managed to wrangle the rope into a semblance of the image he was replicating. With a satisfied grin he once again untied the rope, practicing the knot before moving on. One he felt he was able to sufficiently tie the knot without messing up he flipped the page, wishing that he would progress faster at this.
Fiddling with the rope the start of this new knot was odd, and forced Takuya to turn his hand at an odd angle to make the correct loop. Teeth clenched he was already extremely sick of all the rope tying s**t, he had better things to be doing with his time. If there was one thing that was certain, it was that he would be a master at knot tying by the time the day was out. Pushing through the aggravation he kept telling himself that the lessons that lay ahead would be worth the headache now.
