His wher was really starting to feel the pain now, and there seemed to be little he could do about it. Staggering back to his feet the powerful man aimed a kick at the enemy wher's snout before it could take another swipe at his partner. "Get away from him, you brute!"

Celandsk, Defending Against Hanir
Why did this human keep trying to kick him? In the face, no less? Vexed, Celandsk managed to swat away the offending foot before it could thunk into his poor face. He snarled warningly. The man had better not try that again!

Get off him? This man was trying to order her wher around? He was the one who'd set his blue on hers in the first place! Of course Celandsk was going to retaliate, and so was she! She'd take care of the enemy wher, and then she'd get his handler, too.

Bade: Encountering Az'rinBade could hear the sounds of battle. Outside dragons raged against eachother, she could even hear her own Opth joining the fray. Her heart swelled with pride for her lifemate. Nothing could stop the two of them! Once the resistance was defeated they would claim their position of glory and power! They would tear it from the chromatics claws. She crept along the walls, searching for the source of the cries and growls she could hear within the weyr. Riarna grunted as the punch connected and swung back at Lyret. She aimed the jab for his unprotected side, hoping to hit some nerves or something.

Orlina
Attacking Lyret
The last hit-- had been enough to drive Orlina into giving this fight all she had. She didn't know what was happening to the others, but she knew that Kleos, at least, had fallen. It was... not looking good in that case.
Even as Riarna punched Lyret, Orlina let fly a swift kick of her own, momentarily regretful that she didn't have enough strength yet to do much else.

Kintin
Attacking Kesin
Kintsk! Get the Gold wherhandler! Kintin called, unable to hold back the cry as the whip bit into his flesh. He didn't like this, not one bit, but they were going to run ramshod over everyone here if Kintin didn't distract the whers anyway he could-- and that meant using Kintsk for what he was trained for: stopping criminals and protecting the Weyr.
For his part, Kintin also dove for the wherhandler. If he was lucky, Fick would hit his own wher in his attempt to stop Kintin from attacking the Gold handler. Unfortunately, that meant he opened himself to the attack from the handler's Gold. This was not going to end well if they kept getting such lucky shots.

[Ficksk: Defending Lyret from Riarna] Ficksk called to the younger wher. With another roar the green bounded forward, now placing herself between a different human and one of their allies, who was being attacked by two people at once. She would not be a coward, she would show Kintsk she was not!
she called to the gold as the woman's blow landed painfully one her face.

[Harmony: Attacking Riarna]
The enemy bronze’s snarl and savage leap at the young gold handler she recognised made her think twice about being close to it. Those teeth could rip her arm off in a moment.
Different target then. After casting around for a moment she noted a woman and a girl attacking one of her allies; the green wher had just gone to help but the man looked in bad shape.
Much better fighting a woman than trying to fight a wher.
Mind made up she hastened back from the snarling ball of whers and charged at the elder of the pair going for her ally, swinging her fist in a sharp uppercut.

Giving an unhappy yelp the blue closed his eyes and tried to jump back out of range of the horrible whip. His move managed to get his face out of the way of it at least, but the weapon still caught him painfully on the neck. he whined, addressing the wher of the woman attacking him. do this?> It was horrible, all horrible and wrong.

Sharded thing managed to get out of his way, and that woman was still attacking his poor bondmate with a whip! Roaring rage and frustration he aimed another kick at the traitor blue wher’s face. “You’ll all pay for this!” He would make them pay!
