At the tallest mountain peak, Arthas and Frostmourne have established a home base in the cold, icy, jagged points. They call their mountain Icecrown. This is less of a family group as much as a collection of Soquili who have loosely pledged their allegiance to the Arthas, though only Arthas and Frostmourne (and their captives) consider Icecrown their permanent home.

Personality: Frostmourne's personality changes depending on her current target; but at the core of her being she's a corrupting force. She seems to revel, or even gain, power, by attaching herself to a great and powerful ally - someone she can pretend to be partner with but ultimately will be the one pulling the puppet strings in time. She positions herself as a great weapon, when in reality she is the Master Puppeteer.

History: Frostmourne and her mate, Ner'zhul, had been imprisoned by a powerful group of kalona. They had been very closely bonded in life, and working together had amazing power. But Ner'zhul was killed by the kalona, his essence tied to his signature helm, and along with Frostmourne, locked away in an icy prison. The kalona kept her tethered and guarded, using her for her power over the undead. Mal'Ganis, one of these kalona, had been relegated to being the jailer, guarding the prison. However, over the years, Frostmourne began to influence her jailor. Slowly, eventually, he was under her command.

She used him to lure Arthas - a suitable tool and agent - to her and free her. Ultimately, she hoped that the brave stallion would become a host for her mate. Mal'Ganis followed her orders, but when he had accomplished her wishes, much to the demon's surprise, she betrayed him.

Being with Frostmourne gave Arthas power - she was strong, fierce. And ultimately, she wanted him to become a body for her slain mate. She claimed his soul, changing him, making him undead like she had command over. Together, they turned on Mal'Ganis, defeated him out of a mutual revenge.

Then, she influenced Arthas to take the kingdom from his father - driving him into further corruption and securing her hold over her - the more he used the power/used her, the more control she had over him.

He killed his own father, and much of the soquili herds of his father's kingdom, turning them (including Sylvanas) into his scourge army. Meanwhile, however, the kalona were moving on where the lich king's soul was still imprisoned, planning to destroy it while it was weak - separated from Frostmourne. Frostmourne knew that with that destroyed, she would be too. Frostmourne demanded that they go back to defend it - that all of this power was at risk.

He made it back, in time to confront and defeat the kalona by putting on the ancient barding - merging with the Ner'Zul and truly becoming Frostmourne's mate. However, when he did don the helm, he was not overridden with her old mate's persona, but the opposite - Arthas's identity is the dominant one. But still, it is Frostmourne that holds the true power, and Arthas's soul.

Now, together, they are virtually inseparable, and almost of a single mind. They crave more power and control over the world, and to spread the scourge.

Personality: Though once a strong and powerful warrior, Sylvanas is currently under the control and capture of Arthas and Frostmourne. Its uncertain whether she is forced into submission, or if her will is under the influence of her captors. Some shadow of her former self remains, however, as she often weeps for her old life and family.

History: Growing up in the deep wildlands, Sylvanas Windrunner was a strong and powerful warrior for her herd. Long ago, she was captured by Arthas and forced to live with him in the icy peaks of Icecrowne. Rumor has it, she was killed by Arthas, and is not little more than a reanimated corpse.

Personality: Sar'thanon lacks the grand power-grabbing nature of his father, but still likes to feel powerful and in control. He's a manipulator, reveling in getting others to do his bidding. He generally stays on Icecrown, but ventures on into the world when he feels restless. He is also rather remorseless when it comes to his relationships with other Soquili, and will easily lie without regret to suit his needs.

History: Sar'thanon is an offspring of the powerhungry Warlock, and his "pet" (/spy), Disnia. Disnia was hardly chaste, and as part of her services, she had given Warlock the... boon of being her master. She never really expected foals to come from their union - maybe it just wasn't as fertile of a place in the underworld she came from as the Kawani lands.

However, the idea of having little foals to listen to her, play with, use in manipulation games was not an unappealing idea to her. And she would present them as a "gift" to Warlock. Warlock himself was a distant, but not entirely uncaring father. He's just about to let them them come between him and what he wants.

Personality: Hesevere's greatest desire is to take everything he possibly can from life. Every experience, every pleasure from the tame to the depraved. He lives for new experiences. He has grown up to a father who has gathered a great amount of power for himself, his pet/mate Disnia, and his siblings, and Hesevere takes that a bit for granted. He loves power, but not for any set goal other than to have it and experience the freedoms and rush that it allows. He will use the dark magic of Kalona for the exhilaration of it moreso than any grand scheme. And when Hesevere and his twin, Dareth are together, it's all the moreso. Personality: Frostcrowne is a paranoid mare. She is rarely settled, always looking over her shoulder for some great peril to befall her. She has no set reason to be so distrusting, but she has been raised in a frozen wasteland with a power hungry father figure, and an icy, manipulative, and corrupting mother.

History: She lives in Icecrown with her deceitful familiar, Carrion, and was raised (minimally) by the distant mother Frostcrowne.
