Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas was silent for a moment longer before he turned around quickly and grabbed Mirai, pulling her into his arms and kissing her deeply on the lips. When he finished he looked down at her, continuing to hold onto her tightly. "Mirai....if anything happens to me....I don't want you to give up, okay?" He paused for a moment. "I don't know.....I don't know if I'm alright." And I just want to show them.

Mirai was caught off guard as Texas kissed her and became even more surprised by what he said next. She was silent for a moment "...I... I can't make any promises... with that." she said. For her, Texas seemed to be the only person she could really care about. She had her family, but for a long time she always seemed to be pressured by them. Whatever she did was wrong to them almost all the time making Mirai rather nervous and also feeling like she was a failure. Texas just seemed different. He really didn't seem to care about her decisions in battle or in life and respected them. If he did have anything to say about it it wasn't degrading her for it. If something happened to him, she didn't think anything good would happen. She placed a hand on the side of his face, not knowing what to say to comfort him.
