 Eric nodded, letting her go and kissed her gently on top of the head as he stood up. "I understand," he said, offering his hand to help her up.

Eric paused. "I...." He looked at her and saw the pain in her eyes. He closed his eyes and slowly undid the scrambling, trying as hard as possible to keep his thoughts blank. "Is that better?" He asked

"Better.",as she stood up, she noticed a blood spot,"Looks like we have an eavesdropper. Nervermind that, thank you for being so kind. Usually when I cry everyone, leaves me be and the result is that I end up having to calm myself down. Last, it took me 5 days."

"Fi - five days?" Asked Eric, surprised. "Well, not if I can help it," he said, grinning. When Susuka mentioned the eavesdropper, Eric looked down at the blood-spot. "Guess he wants to make sure you're okay too," he said.

She's so soft... Thought Eric as she hugged him. He felt embarrassed when he realized that she could probably hear that. He hugged her back, hoping she wouldn't mind. "So are you," he said. "You've been through so much, but it hasn't changed you for the worse."
