Mitsu did her best to type word for word what Shun wanted to say despite how weird it felt to do so. She thought about changing up the phrasing but in the end left it and handed Shun back the phone so that he could hit send. For her own decision she was still lost. Shun was going but he had left her behind before because she would be in the way. Would she be in the way now? Pulling out her phone she started a text but stared at it for a long while as she decided. Maybe it would be best to offer her help and from there let it be declined or accepted. Dragain I want to find answers but I also want to make sure everyone stays safe. I don't know how dangerous something like this would be but if I can lend my strength to the cause or even the size of my true form I would like to be there. ((Natural Ability: Shapeshifting from student form to large wolf form Natural Ability: Summoning the strength of my true form while still in my small student form Learned Abilities: Basic First Aid, Basic Speed Boost

Sparrow, still silently standing between Hel and Mot, pulled his phone out of his pocket and began typing a single text message:Dragain TEXT TO ADMIN: I was unfortunate enough to miss the last mission, and I do not wish for that to happen this time as well. But not because of some sort of pride issue, or a desire to prove myself - but because I want to be able to provide for the people of this school what I can, even if it's not much. I may not be as strong, but I will protect the things important to me.
------------
Natural Abilities
Y1: "For a few crucial seconds, Grim Reapers can shift into a shadowy, wispy intangible substance. They cannot sadly, pass through walls this way."
Y2: Sparrow has the ability to manipulate shadows (minimally, nothing extravagant).
FEAR:
Y1: Shadow Pins: Sparrow can use his scythe to "pin" his opponents by their shadows. Using the blade to "capture" the shadow, Sparrow can hold an opponent in place long enough to give himself a bit of time to recover. (The Chill)
Y2: Shots of Black: Sparrow is able to use his scythe to "fling" shadows as projectiles. (Swift Strikes)

((I'm sorry that I'm not responding to those who quoted me/the prompts much, I'm feverish and it just won't let my brain work right. ;; Hope to be back to good posts soon, apologies again!)) It was a lot to take in, really, but Thackery did his best. He worried briefly about having to hand everything over, but...it was for the good of everyone, right? And what was he going to do with any of that, really? Though his instinctual possessiveness nagged at him, he fought through it; something in there might be able to fix Ash. Something might keep it from happening to all of the rest of them. He couldn't just leave useful material to be taken by the boogeymen, leaving the people who needed it the most in the dark yet again. Dragain (just assume that this is a translated version, because I don't want to put you through an entire paragraph of his terrible text talk XD) Text to Admin:I didn't know much about Red, and I wasn't there to see it, but something really bad is happening to Ash, and I think maybe Red stuff might be able to help him. And us. I'm great at protecting and keeping secrets and am loyal and good. Natural Ability: Shapeshift to Cerberus Dog form (Y1), Minor Sense Danger (Y2; only applies to Ash and Tomo Amity-wise). FEAR: Summon hellhounds (both Y1 and Y2). Summons hellhound illusions that attack on his behalf.

Red's office... Malodore hesitated. While the temptation to go was powerful, it had also made itself somewhat of a liability after returning home from the Four Clans. It would be recognized, and if it were branded as a troublemaker... ... Then again, it really wanted to actually make some trouble. But could it afford to possibly compromise itself and its research? The plague doctor sighed. It wasn't sure, and it wasn't helping that its emotions were regularly see-sawing between analytical and together to overwrought and frustrated. Finally, it sent off a text. Dragain I am conflicted on actually entering Red's office, as I feel I would not be the best person for that task for multiple reasons - however, if I could perform in a support role of some kind? ((Nat abilities just in case: immune to germ-based diseases and psychological effects of Insanity, minor empathy, ability to call germ-based diseases/non-FEAR based infection out of a target to stop illness or infection Learned abilities: First Aid))

Amrita listened quietly, sitting on the floor and hugging her knees. Going into Red's office...honestly, she was surprised nobody had yet! Though once she thought about it it made sense; the Boogeymen had been in the area a lot at the time, and then things just got swept under the radar in light of other things.
The Vetala's decision to join in didn't need thoughtful consideration at all. Dangerous was everyday school life, and if there was something they could get out of it in the end, she was all for it. Dragain Text to Admin:The more we know the harder it'll be to catch us off guard, and the less likely it'll happen to someone else. I want to do what I can to keep everyone safe. --- Abilities:Natural:Y1 - Possessing/Reanimating Remains (ie the body you see her in now; she's possessing/reanimating it. Can last indefinitely.) Y2 - Time-limited possession/animation of the living (Amrita has to escape her body to possess someone else, giving her control for about 5 minutes. While she's possessing someone, I *think* their mind blacks out and their limbs twist...only no bones break ~*~magically~*~ idk.) Y3 - Upgraded Y2 ability. May not twist limbs, + I just haven't asked about the new time limit : D Learned:Beginner First Aid Beginner Speed Boost

Imryn had been floating quietly off to the side for most of the meeting, taking in as much as she could. From the interactions of the students with one another and the information that had been given out during the meeting, it seemed to be in her best interests to join up for the mission. The more they knew, the better they could prepare themselves for whatever might be coming. Dragain Text to Admin: I did not know Red at all, barely heard a few whispers about them once I came to school. But from what I've experienced while I have been here it seems that we all need to do what we can since others want to keep us in the dark. [ Inherent: Flying (has wings), will change into a smaller, winged form when skull pin is taken off, about the size of a large cat. Natural Ability: She is able to alter her form, changing to that of a shadowy figure, making it easier for her to lurk in darkened corners.]

Aymet spent the meeting in quiet contemplation, splitting his attention between Lizzy speaking and the others seated nearby him. To his surprise, he wasn't nearly as out of the loop as he thought. As soon as he saw Amrita pull out her phone, he did the same in turn, punching in his information with no hesitation. Dragain >> Admin:I'll volunteer for this. Anything that could help us, we can't afford to wait around to be told when it's too late any more. We can't rely on anyone but ourselves at this point to protect Amityville. (( Inherent: Flying (wings), turns into a large skeletal dragon (natural form), can lend a hand... or a foot... or a pair of wings... (undead) Natural Ability: Temporarily raise skeletal dragon minions for about 1-2 minutes, can be used to test traps or as bridges/ladders/spare parts, etc. FEAR: Minions can attack, throws own bones at enemy (Battle Cry & Swift Strikes) ))

Glancing over at Sammy, Jericho tilted his head before slowly nodding. "Better if you come to us..." he murmured. He didn't like to leave his room too much.

"Thank you, Shehk," She smiled, truly grateful for the help and cooperation; she was a capable ghoul, and would no doubt lead the team well... Even if not everyone got along with each other.
"Alright, everyone... May I have your attention please?" She clapped her hands together, and waited for everyone to look up from their phones, "This next topic is one that... Probably won't ever be touched by the adults openly. Anyone who was around during Professor Red's last hours would... Probably recognize it. If you were around during the Christmas invasion, and saw how the Christmas creatures were... Turning grey? That is Insanity, the topic I will be going through now. Due to lack of information, I won't be able to answer all your questions. I will, however, do my best to answer."
She turned to look at Jericho briefly, before turning her attention back to the floor, "This is mostly guesswork, but Insanity comes in stages. At first, you will start hearing voices, and have a heightened sense of paranoia... When you came home from the islands, didn't you hear voices in your head? Someone infected with Insanity will continue to hear these voices; unlike what you were through, for them, the voices will not go away." At this, she looked at Jericho again, "After that, physical signs of insanity will start to appear - parts of you will go grey... It might be a small patch of skin at first, but soon, it'll spread, and the area covered in grey will grow... And t-then..."
She frowned, hoping and hoping that Jericho would be able to control his own emotions as she continued, although it would no doubt be difficult, "The Insanity will take over... It will consume the person infected with it, and they will lose their sense of self. They forget who they are, and who their friends are. They might become... Hostile." Anyone who was present at the Riley fight would no doubt know what she was talking about; even Red attacked them when she first crawled out from that ditch, consumed by Insanity.
"For now, there is no known cure, but Malodore-" She gestured at the Plague doctor, giving him a bow of her head, "-is trying to find one... So please, if you have any information to contribute, feel free to do so! It might help! However, there is a theory, provided by the horseman heir Invictus, that Insanity can be cured by direct human fear... However, for some reason, scaring the hunters does not work. I think... It might be due to those Fear-draining weapons of theirs. Either way, there is no way for us to test the 'direct fear' theory right now, because we have no access to the human world." She sighed, her frown deepening; it was clear that she was frustrated by this, "But yes... Please, if you have anything - anything at all - to contribute..."
OOC: -> If your eyes are bleeding from this wall of text, please only read the pink parts. Especially the bolded parts. -> Quote me (Lizzy), Eight (Junko), Kaiyumi (Xiu) if you need us! -> Questions will be addressed as they come! -> IF YOU ARE A LATECOMER, you probably have my permission to be late. ICly you were here ALL ALONG! Otherwise, "sigh-ups" are now closed! If you really want to be here, you can try IMing me to ask. xD <3 People with permission: Levi, Belladonna
-> Please also read this post for the previous update, which is VERY IMPORTANT, as it involves a mission.

After Lizzy stopped speaking, Malodore quickly got to its feet, bowing towards Lizzy, Junko, and Xiu. " Si, ah... I naturally have very... very good motivation to pursue treatments and a possible cure for Insanity, and I have collected a great deal of data. It is worth noting that as far as I can tell, the Insanity is not contagious from person-to-person at this time, so there is no need to react negatively to those who are afflicted with it - ah... perhaps do not engage in any activity that would involve a blending of FEAR. But those afflicted with Insanity need assistance and support. They need to know that they are not alone." The plague doctor looked at the assembled group, soberly. "We have allies and enemies in this matter. Nurse Cricket will also be studying the Insanity, with me at her side; she was affected by Professor Red's loss, and has as much motivation to find a treatment as I myself do. She will not go to the Bogeymen... who should, sadly, be considered untrustworthy as far as this Insanity goes. And I am always looking to collect more data, so if you have anything, even the smallest bit of experience with Insanity that may be useful, please, please come and speak with me." It bowed its head. " Grazie. And, ah, your 'stages' seem accurate," it added, to Lizzy, "though I have refined it somewhat. I can share the information I have gathered upon request to trustworthy members, though with all patient identifying information stripped out."

"Ah! Nurse Cricket?" She paused, and then nodded when the Bogeymen were mentioned; the nurse's experience might just help them arrive at a breakthrough faster than if they were to do research themselves... And like Arel, she could be trusted, which was a huge relief; they needed more adults they could trust, and actually go to for help, "Refined? Do you mind sharing these findings? It might help us to identify future cases of Insanity..."
And everyone in the room seemed trustworthy thus far - or at least, their heart seemed to be in the right place. Nobody with a bad reputation.

Questions burned behind his lips as he listened, a most unpleasant sensation for the undead. But Mort had become more and more introverted these days and did not want to make a fool out of himself by asking something that might very well be answered by the plague doctor's current research. He cast a furtive glance at the dragon once more and kept his counsel for the time being, only nodding towards Malodore and Lizzy when they finished their respective speeches to show he was still listening.
Direct human fear . . . Mrrrrr. Mort wished he could offer something more helpful than a furrow brow. If most of them had been inflicted with a "first stage" of this Insanity, he shuddered to think how much worse it could have been if the phoenix had torn through their portal . . .

"Ah, as far as identification goes - you have the symptoms quite well named," Malodore replied, bobbing its head. "The other thing I would add is a shift in pronoun usage often seems to mark the second stage, during times of particular stress, using 'we' instead of 'I'... other than that, you have covered it well. My analysis is largely scientific and theoretical, and perhaps unsuited to such a gathering. Maybe a lecture later, once I've had a chance to confirm some of my hypotheses..."
