Trescot followed quickly, soaring into the air as he followed his mama and cousin.

She tried her best to keep a steady speed, but her wings and body were specially built for speed and long flights. Every part of her wanted her to go fast, but she knew she needed to conserve energy. Not only that, but she wanted Trescot to feel like he would never be left behind, not for the world.

Rae sat with a soft sigh, watching Trescot fly. Surely that would cheer him up. She looked to Trap, and then finally asked. "I don't know how to ask this any more politely, but... is there a reason you aren't a dog anymore?"

Trap shrugged. "Trescot needed a protector. As a dog I couldn't, so his power changed me." He said after a moment.
Lysander nodded. "We've had that before. Many werewolves were made this way." He said.
Andrew sat down, putting his head in his hands, sighing heavily. This had certainly taken a turn for the worse.

Most of the time they were flying, Suka just resorted to gliding, only using energy when she had to. Flight always gave her some decent thinking time... sometimes.

"Can we go fast now mama?" Trescot asked quietly, overlooking the people. He tuned away all the evil things. Mostly. And kept the good. Oh there was more than expected much more, and that lightened his heart.

"Alright." She called, beating her wings a few more times, almost instantly speeding up thirty miles an hour. Peace. The wind brought peace to her, allowed her heart to beat faster without the need for anxiety or any other simple thing mortals would have to have to feel at their best. Suka had been flying for thousands of years, but something about this flight was different. New. Nothing amazing like the first flight, but not dull and usual like flying normally was. She glanced back at Trescot, Tara beating her wings harder and faster to keep up wither her mother. Though Tara was getting stronger by the day, she still had a long way to go before she could be the official next generation of Avian. Suka began breathing slower as she rose higher. Of course she wouldn't go too high, but just high enough to where Trescot and Tara could follow her.

You need to angle your body as well Tara. That way there's less wind resistance." Trescot called, shooting higher than Suka, and spinning. Slowly, a giggle escaped him, carried by the wind.

Tara smirked, angling her small body as much as she dared. Suka laughed a bit, beating her wings, racing ahead of Trescot. Tara finally found the courage to beat her wings harder. Finally she was going much faster and higher, a small smile coming to her. Her aura was rather colorful now, as was Suka's.

Trescot's black aura would never lighten. It was a sign his father knew he was always there, keeeping him safe now. He spiraled, and sighed, adjusting to glide at maybe forty miles n hour.

Suka fell behind a bit, nudging Tara upwards. Tara finally gained some speed, gliding right by Trescot, Suka following just behind.

Suka smiled, gliding. A while passed before she called to Trescot, slowly coming to a stop. "We better get back Trescot.."

Rae sighed happily and leaned against Lysander, captivated by the sight of the two birds and her son soaring through the sky. A few strands of bright orange hair fell from her bun, twisting in a soft passing breeze. The way the sunlight hit her exposed her skin made her seem almost radiant, though of course she hadn't any idea of this matter.

"My foxy, my bright sun. Never has such a woman lightened my eyes, lanterns in the coming dark of past revelations and rebellions." Lysander whispered, stroking Rae's hair.
"But mama....." Trescot frowned, falling back slightly.
