Vocal Magic "Well, okay..." Night Spark said, hanging his helmet up right next to his armor. "If you say it won't hurt..." he paused, right in front of his bed. "....but wait... You said you're not sure it'd work... So... What'd happen if it does work but... just not correctly?"
Well~~
magic is almost certain if used right though there's always the "little chance it wont"
Well i guess there's no point of dodging the truth. like i said, such a spell is quite easy, any unicorn can pick up a book and do it. its just, being a alicorn, my magic maybe a *tad bit* stronger and may extend the spells duration also..
being as "nocturnal" as you are.. i cant be certain of if your going to wake in the morning or the night sweatdrop

He sighed. "But... The thought of not waking up... That's truly terrifying." He glanced over. "I actually think that's why I wake up when I do get to sleep on my own..."

The3rd and 4thCrusader I think we all have those fears that haunt us, but the one thing we dont need when we cast this spell is fear.. You know i have a much more tragic fear.
"Immortality" quite an benefit also a terrible curse. To live forever, to watch your friends, your family age and crumble and you cant do anything to stop it...
Well, anyways we don't want you to have nightmare now would we?
~Lie down, nice and cozy and we'll begin "But... you're sure I'll wake up?" Night Spark asked. "All I need to know is that I will wake up." He closed his eyes, anxious to be assured that he would see another night. He wanted to believe that he'd wake up. Well now the sheets are properly tucked now we can really begin
*Gloomy pulls out a book with no cover title out from her saddle bag*
Gloomy' horn lit up again. Cyan coloured magic fell from the ceiling above the bed like glitter. She was reading the words, to quiet for anypony but herself to hear. Gloomy flipped through the pages, every second another page and eventually the book closed on its own. The raining glitter faded from the sky and the bed*
Sir? Are you asleep... Well i shouln't ask that if you were asleep... You look asleep. Then it worked fine.

✶ Shining Armor's leg twitches as his ears flicker. He appears to be running or chasing after something. His mumbles still just that...as his eyes wince tightly shut as though in pain. His body shakes and shivers before silently going calm.

 -Morning Star looked worriedly at the unicorn before relaxing again. After yawning herself, she curled up next to Shining Armor and dosed off herself-

✶ The images in his mind, the nightmare, the constant battle and strain continued to plague him. He was just about to give up, but he couldnt...He continued to fight. A vision appears which seemed to give him strength, but instead he woke to a fright when that image, the one he loved, the one he married, shifted to that of a twisted fate, muttering the words..
"Cadance..."
As he awoke he looked beside himself to find Morning Star curled up beside him. He sighed a sigh of relief. As he placed a hoof to his head. It'd had only been two weeks, but still he was haunted by the memories of his "special" day and Cadance was still missing ever since that day. Well not missing, he knew full well she suffered a traumatic experience as well, and that drove her to feel she was no longer in a position to love him. He sighed, his heart still pounding hard as he looked to Morning Star. He brushed a few stands of her hair from her face and laid back down as not to disturb her. He watched as the sun lit up the sky and cast shadows on the ground.
"Why..."
He muttered slowly as to not disturb his sleeping guest, With everything happening so suddenly it was no wonder he was a wreck, but he still had a job, a duty to perform and would need to put this behind him, if he ever hoped to prevail and retain his standings as Captain of the Royal Guard,
