"I am not." Willow's eyes narrowed on Candace, "Do you think I would make up them killing us?"
Her tail was trashing side to side by now. "I don't know what the horsemen are up to but they're part of your problem and part of our problem. We cannot live without each other." Her claws dug into the ground before aiming at Candace's hip, in attempts to ward off the huntress. "I don't know what the cause is, but we need fear. I don't want it to be to the point that no one can function. I don't know what our elders do."
Her fangs were bared. "WE, my kind, do not cause apocalypses." She seemed serious about this. However, she felt like she might not be getting through to either of them. Maybe... she was looking past one of the ghouls to the Boil in the wheel chair. Candace had been about to add on to what Cass was saying, to put this cat in her place, until she suddenly got a claw to her hip. She let out a strained cry of pain, trying desperately to hold it in. Oh god..oh god <********>! She winced, pressing a hand against her hip and watching as her beautiful white coat began to seep with red blood. ********! Don't show weakness. Don't show ******** s**t GODDAMN ******** FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! She shrieked in her head, biting down hard on one of her bloodied fingers as she stumbled back away from the tiger girl. Willow's tail fluffed, "Look okay I don't know how this stuff works. They won't let us into the human world until we're full fledged members."
She snarled at both attackers. Staring at Candace when she said she liked that coat. "All I know is we need to co-exist or the horsemen will wipe us all out. All Candace was hearing was 'blah blah blah look at me trying to win you over with lies'. She was not going to work with these things. She bit down harder on her finger and tried not to scream as the teeth sank into her. Instead, Willow got a knee to the face. "Get. Every hit directed to a rune yielded a resulting shower of sparks to hiss and crackle upwards like a miniature firework, harmless and flashy. The air in the room seemed to grow heavier as the runes were relentlessly battered, as if a large forbidden presence was leaning forward and eagerly anticipating the combatants next moves. The runes seemed to shiver and begin to pulse irregularly, inducing a wave of nausea the more they were looked at.
The seated hunter raised his lance, the runes blazing brighter and brighter as he fought alongside his trainees. Beneath the hood of his coat, Lance's brows drew together in puzzlement. The feeling, the warmth, the rush -- after a moment he could place it. A smile touched his lips as he tightened his grip, his heart pounding with recognition. It had been a long time since he had last felt it; too long, he realized.
With a loud whoop, the air around the hunter seemed to ripple and shift, student and hunter trainee near him alike stepping back as a curtain of heat surrounded the hunter. It shimmered before igniting, the hunter disappearing beneath the fiery inferno that surrounded him. As soon as the fire surrounded him the Hunter shot forward, careening around the room recklessly as a giant fireball. If someone wasn't impaled, chances were they found themselves run over by his fiery runic wheelchair.
At last the wheels squealed as the fireball curved to a stop, leaving behind a trail of fire that flickered briefly before burning itself out. The black hood had been pushed back during his charged Fear attack, revealing a rather scruffy-looking reaper. No, human the Amityville students corrected. They had seen them before. This particular one? Not so much.
Lance doesn't bother to hide his wide grin as he uses a black sleeve to wipe the sweat off of his face, the expression faltering as he glances towards his trainees. Even if they were on the same side, they were not spared the attack. He had the decency to wince upon realizing that they too were hit, offering them a quick shrug before turning his attention back to the students in the room.BOSS FIGHT PHASE 2: TOTAL ROOM HP 198/300 gaia_crown DAMAGE:- If you are on a RED tile, take NO DAMAGE from Lance's attack. Looks like the rune absorbed the attack! Sweet!- If you are on a BLUE tile, take 10 unavoidable damage. - If you are on a BLACK/BLANK tile, take 5 unavoidable damage. - Note: Lance's attack does not count towards your 3-person attack limit. gaia_crown [ EXITING ] : You may now choose to EXIT this room and go post in another battle room. You must do this BEFORE you attack for this round. You cannot attack and then EXIT. Once you have attacked here, you must use all turns in this room unless you dissipate/ warp back to base. You must also apply the damage Lance dealt to you before leaving. gaia_crown [ SELECT A TILE FIRST ] : THE RUNES IN THE ROOM ARE STILL ACTIVATED. All characters must select another tile for this round, simply circle which tile and post in your post BEFORE you attack or do any other battle what your choice is. Or make a note in your post which tile you're standing on. gaia_crown [ POST ROOM'S TOTAL HP ] : Same rules from phase 1: make sure to post at the bottom of your post the room's cumulative total HP remaining gaia_crown [ ALL TURNS ARE RESET] : Also make sure to continue following the battle rules. ALL TURNS ARE RESET THIS ROUND which means even if you are waiting on someone, you can now attack them again/ NO NEED TO WAIT ON THE PERSON. IT also means all players have 6 turns again. gaia_crown [ SPECIAL GM EFFECTS ] : - Did you take damage? You are now on fire. Stop, drop, and roll to put yourself out by rolling 1d8. You need to roll any number between 4 and 8 to put yourself out. If you roll 1-3, take that amount of damage and roll again until you put the fire out. If you decide to NOT put yourself out, take -2 damage each RP post while in this chamber. - If on fire, you must put yourself out before exiting. - Putting yourself out will not count against your allowed 6 turns for this round. If you are attacked while putting yourself out, your attacker will need to wait for you to take a standard turn (attack, defend, heal, etc) in order to move again. - Hunter Fear fire =/= regular Fear fire. It hurts.

Lance had just turned into one of those old Hot Wheels commercials and swept the room and all she could do was stand there and try to not get run over. It had worked pretty damn well too!
"Nice one, Lance!" she called out, carefully keeping her coat away from the flames.

Moving to Tile 28Willow's tail flickered as she was about to go after Candace again, at least until the Wheelchair suddenly.... caught on fire? What the folly!? She was hit and aimed a paw back at him.
Willow winced as she was hit before retreating to a new position before baring her fangs at Lance. So the ghoulies didn't want to believe her, maybe the boil would if he didn't kill her first. "You," He was probably like Caelius. "The ghoulies won't believe me and I believe one of them just insulted me." She added indignantly.
She paused looking at him. If he didn't believe them well... she'd just have to deal with attempting to find the dude with the scythe and talking sense into them. "We need to live co-existentially with each other or the horsemen'll take over and kill all of us, first your kind and then my kind." Lance didn't feel Willow's paw as she struck him. He didn't even know he was struck until his weapon prodded him, informing him of the tigress' attack. It was an odd sensation, knowing that he was struck yet being unable to feel it. When he was a trainee, his weapon's shield had blocked all pain in order to enable him to push himself to his limits. Over time, his weapon had thinned the shield enough to where he would feel pain as if he was without shield in order to learn the hard way how not to get hit. He was, for all intents and purposes, back to square one. And then his attacker spoke to him. Lance turned to face Willow, a bemused grin on his face. "And?" He prodded at first. What did she expect him to do about it? Admonish his trainee for being mean to the poor little helldemon? Remind the trainees that the souless creatures had feelings too? "Right, then once we work together you'll turn on us and finish the job." Lance replied, drawing his lance back and thrusting it towards Willow. "I don't think so." ...and falling short as he twisted the wheel on his chair too far, completely missing the giant tigress that was right in front of him. Or somewhat close to being right in front of him. Either way, he missed, and his lack of practice was showing painfully clear. ------------------------ (( OOC: Character Name: Lance HP: 66/70 Target: Willow Damage: ??? If there was one thing that could snap Olivia back from her sudden desire to kick some a**, it would probably be fire. And if there was anything that made her feel alive again, in the kind of agonizing trying to remember to breathe kind of way because your brain is shutting off because of terror... it was because of fire.
Olivia sucked in the air she didn't need and held it, her blue eyes large, as the runes began to glow and shake and the room kept feeling heavier and heavier, wanting to run but before she could get that through her head the fireball came barreling down upon her group. It hurt, it burned, she could feel her dead skin crackle from the heat as little flames danced upon her arms, desperately fighting against whatever kept trying to keep her cold.
She fell to the ground with a weak little wail, not really able to produce a scream. All she could do was hug herself and roll in desperation to get the flames from taking over her. With each rotation, traveling to a new tile to boot, it managed to stamp out the flames from consuming her.
But it wasn't going to help much against the turmoil in her head from being on jackin' fire.
