Somewhere along the way she'd lost Rikki. She swore he was just a few feet behind her, and then suddenly he wasn't. If that wasn't worrying enough, the room she discovered was filled with the white coats- her worst dreams realized. What if they'd gotten Rikki? What if they'd already compromised the horsemen? What if-
The next thing she saw was Roch get slashed by a sword.
"ROCH," she shouted, jumping in front of the twosome, shoving the strange ghoul out of the way. The shot slammed into Imryn's shoulder and knocked her back a good ways, hissing as the pain shot through the left side of her body. dang that had hurt more than she thought it would, but at least she'd succeeded in drawing the attention away from the other two for the time being. "Heh, not bad..." Gritting her teeth, Imryn pulled herself together and readied for another attack, rubbing her shoulder a little and waiting to see what the Hunter would do next while catching her breath. Eva beamed, seeming quite satisfied when the punk's attention turned from Ariane to her. Good. She shot Ariane a brief thumbs up before turning her attention back to the boy. "There we go, now isn't this better? A nice one-on-one fight." Eva wouldn't give chase or persist if he tried to flee, but from the looks of this boy, he wasn't the type to run. After a moment of silence, she lifted Chara. "Sorry, couldn't just sit around while you attacked a friend. No hard feelings."
Unfortunately, before she could bring her weapon down, she felt herself being shoved roughly out of the way. Eva stumbled back, but managed to regain her balance at the last moment. Her gaze was calm as she looked to Danny, and then back to Roch. She sighed.
"And that's why I said it's hard to be a honorable fighter in a situation like this." Of course people would jump in to protect their friends--didn't she do the same thing right now? Her expression was grim as she weaved around the girl and swung her bladed staff out at the boy again. It was not a gentle hit.
"Listen, kid. I'll back off when you back off."

Oh no they didn't! Taryn's attention turned from the Hunter she had been dodging to the one who had tried and succeeded to do some serious damage to Mort. Brow furrowed, she whipped around and pointed.

Roch grunted with the hit, reminded of his fight with Jericho. She was tougher than he was, he realized. But at least Danny was here with him, he thought, grinning slightly at his best friend. "She was beatin' up a first year," he snarled. "Just a jackin' KID," which, by the looks of him, he was too. In fact there was a good chance he was younger than the owl boil. He swung his guitar, hitting the hunter in the arm, hard. Danny followed quickly behind Roch, jabbing at Eva's backside while Roch distracted her in the front with his guitar. Unsurprisingly they actually made a pretty good team
"What he hell happened?" Danny shouted at her best friend. She wished he wasn't here. Why the hell was he here. He could be above ground, safe.
Yet at the same time there was no one she'd rather fight with. He commented helpfully, throwing his giant boomerang forward at the girl. "I went after the ghoul from the trap room--the one with the exploding tiles," he paused, wondering if he'd ever told her about that, then shrugged, "And when I was fightin' her, she kept beatin' up on the bird boil, even though he SUCKS at fightin', and then she called for help and these jackers ganged up on me," he summed up.
He brought his guitar up--tried to play a note--and cursed. "JackDAMMIT." They were FEARblocked.

...There aren't really...any words to express the sheer what the hell at the fact that Eva somehow missed while trying to heal her friend.
The attacks from the students hurt--oh yes, they hurt--but she paid them little mind as she turned her attention to her weapon. There was a moment of pause, and then, her head snapped back up so that she could look at Otto. She pointed a finger at him, "Y-you! Stop being careless, and heal yourself up with a bandage or something!"
And as for her? She should probably pay attention to the two who had been attacking her. She lifted a brow at the boy. "One, all of you are kids, not just that bird guy. Two? Do not bring up people ganging up on you, when you guys were ganging up on my friend."
She brought her staff up again, but faltered when she noticed...what? Were his attacks not working anymore? Eva's lips fell into a frown, and though she lowered her weapon, she had certainly not lowered her guard. Especially not with that girl around.

He was frowning down at Desiree. "Yeah, but Isra's a moron--he threw a jackin' protection charm at her or somethin, I didn't see it clearly," he said bluntly. "And Muka's a bird brain first year. Where's Rikki?" he asked Danny, since the ghoul wasn't attacking and he needed a breather. His FEAR shield was remarkably low--and his C chord wasn't working.
"Yo RIKKI!! You better notta died on me!" he bellowed into the room.

Danny chose to selectively hear Roch. She couldn't think about Rikki right now. She just couldn't. Not with all of this fighting go on. Not with all these hunters here. She just couldn't.
So instead she focused on the ball smacking her in the leg. She threw a glare in his direction and spat, "What friends?" All Danny could see was a dude standing by himself while the black haired ghoul ran off.
She rushed forward and socked him in the arm, but the momentum sent her over the edge and tumbling down with him and his stupid ball.
Didn't matter to Danny. She hissed again as the second shot landed squarely in her stomach, doubling over in pain. Jack damn it these things were strong... but she wasn't going to back down just because of some pain. Nevermind that it she was starting to have a bit of trouble seeing because of it... or that her bottom half seemed to be leaking a bit more inky looking tendrils. "Guess it's my turn then huh.." she replied, growling at Gale as she flew in and took another swipe at the Hunter.
