And then more rumors. Mitsu was starting to think people just wanted to spread stories.

Not long after Mitsu took another turn...and found herself back at the same dead end. She wanted to fall on her hands and knees in defeat. The school hallways had won.

Apparently getting out of the dead end wasn't easy. Mitsu was so turned around she found it immediately again.

When Mitsu had made her way out of the dead end she was on her search once again. Maybe it would be best to get a group to help her out? Doing this on her own was a little difficult.

Mitsu really...really wanted to find the Haunted House again so that she could make note of it and be done. It was sudden too, as soon as that thought hit her the corridor became distorted and once again she found herself in the Haunted House. This was no where near where she had spotted it before. Was there a pattern to this?
Making note of where she had spotted the Haunted House Mitsu once again backed away and the place was gone.....wait....where did it go?

Mitsu ran down the hall trying to determine what happened to the Haunted House this time but ended up in the dead end. It was so strange. What was it that made it appear? The wheels were starting to turn but she had yet to come to a conclusion.

Back passed ordinary rooms Mitsu was trying to piece together the two times that she had seen the Haunted House. What made those instances similar? Was there something about the location or...was it just her?

Still nothing and Mitsu was once again feeling a little lost. If she wasn't so determined to figure this out for Shun she probably would have given up by now and went back to her room. As it was all the walking was making her a little tired.

It wasn't long after that Mitsu started to hear rumors again but she really paid them no mind. Her brain was processing this puzzle.

More rumors but no sign of the distortion that seemed to precede the Haunted House.

The longer Mitsu thought the more she started to realize the Haunted House didn't just show up by chance. She stood in one spot for a moment trying to decide what it was. There had to be something about why it appeared but the only thing that came to mind that was different about the few times she had stumbled upon it was her determination and want to find it.
Figuring it was worth a try Mitsu convinced herself she wanted no...needed to find the Haunted House. She took a step and the hallway began to distort once again. Another step and the view around her began to change, another step and she was within the walls of the Haunted House. That must have been it then. It wasn't about finding where it was...it was wanting to find it.
Jotting down this strange note Mitsu wondered if anyone would believe her. With it tucked away she took a step back no longer needing the Haunted House and as before it vanished. It only seemed to solidify her thought. If they wanted or needed to find the Haunted House they would. Now to tell the others!

".. It probably is. Unless Conquest decides to change his mind on us," Jericho, sounding not entirely happy as he recalled what was said at the Haunted House awhile back. Shot down before they could even really prove themselves in the trials.
"Well. Let's just try to make the best of it?"

"If is the big factor there. Do you think he's the type who would?"
Having missed the incident at the Haunted House, Shehk wasn't precisely sure what to make of the Horseman of Conquest. Would he change his mind? Was he the type to change his mind in the face of what they were doing?
She didn't know.
"Yeah, that's all we can really do. Might be a nice break after the next trial, even."
And if it was disastrous, she'd be able to work off the energy on the last trial.

Jericho fell silent for a bit as he thought on that. He knew next to nothing about Conquest Senior. That one time was the only moment he had even really seen him.
"..Maybe. We do not know," he said after thinking it over a little longer.
"But yes.. a nice break. Especially with all the things going on. Hopefully there will be no hunter incidents to messssss with it."

At the mention of the hunters, Shehk frowned. "The hunters would either have to be very brave or very stupid to mess with these festivities when there are so many adult Denizens and Horsemen about keeping their eyes open to things."
Hopefully not just to the Trials and to everybody else as well. There was a part of her that doubted the Horsemen cared about such things, though.
"It'll be fine. I am really confident that the Hunters are too busy with other things to focus on us right now. I mean, if they had the time to bother us themselves, they wouldn't be doing business with the Kuroda Mafia, right?"
