Lou's acting had the desired effect. The baku suddenly looked torn, her tail drooping slightly as she stared at the vampire's back. However, her suspicious expression had yet to fade--her pink eyes were glued onto Lou, as if she was searching for any signs that he was just playing around with her. But...but he genuinely seemed sad? His tone of voice, the drooping--
Hook, line, and sinker.
Her tense shoulders sagged, and she clutched her hands to her chest, looking rather hesitant as she took a few timid steps up behind him. "H-hey, you'll make friends, right? Maybe it'll take some time, but..." There was a pause, and then she slowly reached out to give him a comforting pat on the shoulder.
She had yet to see the expression on his face, but rest assured, birds would be flipped once his act was revealed.

Ahahahah, it was too easy, really. Lou kept steady as he heard little footsteps come closer. "... Friends?" He asked softly, head lifting just a little. It was only when he felt the hand on his shoulder did he move.
His fingers held a gentle touch as they grabbed the hand so tenderly patting his shoulder and pulled her in. It was a smooth, fluid motion. The boil turned around, clutched his umbrella between his head and shoulder, and used his other arm to wrap around her middle and dip the ghoul. The grin was quite visible now, as were his facial features since he was right up in her grill.
"Oh, I do not want to make friends, Ma chérie. I want to make looove... To you." It was a very Pepe le Pew moment that transpired, and Lou seemed to know enough French and the accent therein to pull it off. He was quite shameless.

Amphi smiled at the reassurance that Xiu was alright before nodding, looking at the sand castle sadly. "It is a shame though! I never thought such a large Kraken before, it was all over!" Amphi seemed to stare off into the distance, she felt so bad. On one hand, she didn't want her friend to get hurt...and the other, to see a fellow sea creature taking so much damage?!?
She sighed as she didn't get to see the Kraken what so ever besides its attacks before blinking. Was that....Was that Lou?
"You..You!" Amphi flushed before stiffening up. The last time they met (which was like what...ten minutes ago?) He had bested her with charm and...and still hadn't improved on his way of addressing Xiu.
She was going to warn Xiu when he snuck up but she was frozen in place. Like...WHAT DID SHE DO NOW?!?!
"Hey...Hey! He followed us Thana." She looked to Thana...and then back to Xiu who was pushing him away and then back to Thana and then there was some pointing involved with ended up with her stomping forward and tapping him on the shoulder, while he had Xiu in a half dip and invading her space. "Can...Can you please let her go now??!?" Amphi flushed. "Er....or Drop her! No wait, don't drop her...Unhand her! Won't your ghoul...friend be mad that your doing that with another girl?" AND XIU OF ALL PEOPLE.
Let it be known that Amphi was obviously not good with confronting people and thus, was flailing now because she needed to save her friend but she doesn't know how cause Lou....IDEK.

Xiu did not look pleased. Not in the slightest.
After all that training, her first instinct was to knee him in the gut (or the crotch--that always worked) but...she didn't, instead choosing to take a deep breath and keep calm. Grabbing Lou's shoulder, she tried to use it for support as she pulled herself back up to her feet, promptly pushing him back in the direction of the portal the moment she was free from his grasp.
"That was terrible of you, Lou! I am never trusting you again." The baku moved towards where Amphi was standing, pulling her back a bit with the intention of protecting her friend from this lecherous vampire.

"Liiiiittle busy here, baby doll." Lou mumbled as Amphi tapped him on the shoulder... Not that he would be for long.
Lou was... Pretty surprised that no pain came with Xiu's inexplicably angry face. She just moved. Huh. Well. "You're cute when you're a-" Ooooh, she shoved him too. Still the vampire's smile never wavered, it simply grew smaller. Perhaps more honest after he was moved towards the exit. Sure, he could try the same trick twice, but it would get old eventually, and he'd have to milk it for what he assumed would be a long ride. No, the boil had no intention of stopping anytime soon. "Ah, no. I have no ghoulfriend. Or friends period. It's nice that way." Truthfully, he didn't seem bothered by it. Yes, the ghoul he'd met earlier was nice, but little to nothing would come of it. It was good that way.
"And never say never, Xiu. For no one can really say what will happen to them tomorrow, or the day after. " With that, the boil shoved the sunglasses back on his face and spun the umbrella around before it returned to it's proper position directly above his head. "Until next time, hot lips. I'll be stalking your groanspring."
And with that, he started to tread off. Yes, he'd made enough of a scene, he thought. A delightful scene at that. She was much more fun than he first imagined. Ah, sweet ghouls. So enjoyable.
