Bruce stared at Roy and had to admire his standing his ground. "He looked at d**k who stayed silent. He then looked back at Roy.
"You know I always looked at you as one of the family. d**k was pretty broken up over you." He drew in a deep breath. "But he's an adult, and the past is the past. Just remember I'm always watching." He walked by and stood shoulder to shoulder with Roy. "always." His voice wasn't of Bruce but of Batman. He smirked once he was past Roy. He knew that would scare the guy a little.
Damian stood behind Lian after he extended the back range wall a few hundred more yards. He held the bow and exploding arrow with her and made sure she was holding it correctly. He was only a bit taller than her so it wasn't too akward standing behind her guiding her hands.
"Ok, draw back slowly. The tips are nitroglycerin." He told her. "You have to have a steady hand." He drew her hand back holding the string. The bunkar they stood behind would help keep them safe but Damian knew better than to shoot the arrows inside. The explosion wouldn't be too big but it would still make a large boom.
As soon as he had Lian release the arrow and pushed her down behind the bunker to duck for cover. He used his body to sheild her's.

Roy tensed as Batman came from Bruce and looked at d**k with a look of fear. "I just took the bat-growl for you, any doubt that I love you better vanish right now." He said, taking d**k's hand. He was about to pull the man to him but then he heard a decisive, BOOM! And his heard stopped. "Oh god what was that?" Roy made a beeline for the noise, all his thoughts going to Lian.
Lian stared at the floor once she was pushed down, blinked a few times, then said, "That...was...AWESOME!" She flipped over and hugged Damian, "Thank you Damian! That was soooooo cool. Oh dear, I think daddy heard though..." She said, hearing the stomping of her daddy's boots. Soon Roy bust in, he looked at Lian under Daman then at the explosion area.
"You...You...LIAN COME HERE!" He shouted, Lian scrambled to her feet and looked apologetically at Damian then ran to her dad's feet.
"Yes Daddy?" She asked innocently.
"don't 'yes daddy' me, did you use an explosive arrow or something?" Roy looked up, green eyes sharp and landing on Damian. "You! Did you let her use an explosive arrow?!" Roy was furious.

Damian looked up at Roy getting ready to argue with him but d**k pushed between the two.
"Ok.. Everyone chill." He glared at Damian. "What happened?" He asked.
Damian shyed away from d**k whreres he was ready to fight Roy.
"She wanted to see an exploding arrow in action and."
"Your not sapose to be playing with those inside... Let alone with a minor!' d**k was unable to treat Damian like a child most of the time due to how he was rasied by Talia.
"But... I was just..."
d**k knew he couldn't keep Roy from tearing into Damian and there was no way he was going to allowe Lian near the boy again. Not willingly any way.

Roy picked up Lian and checker her for damage, "I'm okay daddy, Damian shielded me, you should be looking at him for cuts and bruises." It clicked in his head, the way Damian had been on top of Lian--that much made sense now.
"Damian. "He snapped, glaring at the boy and walking over to him Lian still in his arms. "Lian could have been hurt, hell Damian you could have been hurt! We never shoot explosives inside! I understand what you were trying to do but you understand if I can't leave Lian alone with you for a while right? You have to gain my trust back." Roy said, clutching Lian close to his body.
"Let's go downstairs now." Roy said, carrying Lian with him.
Lian squirmed and asked, "Damian too?"
Roy frowned, looked at the boy then nodded. "Damian too." He was still just a young boy--he was just trying to impress Lian that much he understood...he wouldn't be leaving them alone again for a long while though.

d**k reached for Damian but Damian pushed his hand away. "I'm not a child Grayson." He pushed past the adults that had gathered and ran off.
d**k sighed deeply and rubbed his head.
"I'm so sorry Roy." He said. He remembered what it was like to young and trying to impress the one you had a crush on. Hell d**k had broke a window once trying to impress Roy with hius gymnastics.
"I'll go talk to the demon spawn." Tim offered.
"You'll just urk him more Tim." d**k pointed out. "Let the kid breath some. He'll be fine." d**k looked at Roy still sorry that things had happened that way.

Roy sighed as Damian took off and was shocked to feel Lian kick off his chest and do a back flip before taking off after Damian. "Lian! LIAN!" She didn't look back, didn't even acknowledge him. "Look at that! I'm losing my daughter to him!" Roy covered his face--"Maybe it would be better if I was just like Bruce and accepted it now...but they're so young!" Roy exclaimed, looking at d**k for back up.

d**k walked over and took Roy's hand. "You remember what it was like being that age and showing off/" He kissed Roy on the cheek. "You'll find him on the roof of the east wing if you want to talk to him. He sits up there to sulk. Never fails." he smiled.
Damian was on the roof in front of the window, hugging his knees and trying not to cry. Only losers and girls cried. He finally found some one close to his age that he liked and he was getting yelled at already. Then again he understood the danger he put her in. He burried his face in his knees anad waited for Grayson to find him. He always found him.
Instead Damian heard little foot steps in search of him. He shrank lower hopeing she wouldn't see him. He didn't need to get yelled at any more.

Roy hesitated a moment before heading up, Lian had a head start on him though. She'd get to him first--he couldn't decide if that was a good thing or not though....
"Damian?" Lian's soft voice called, she found him outside a window and climbed out next to him. "I'm sorry my daddy yelled at you." She said placing her head on his shoulder. "He does like you a little though even if it doesn't show." She looked up and smiled, "I kicked him for you not hard cause he's my daddy, but I did kick him!"
Lian pat Damian's shoulder then said "I'm not mad at you Damian, and my daddy will get over it." She reassured.
Roy spotted the two...they were just talking. Roy remained covered and listened to them talk.

Damian lifted his head a bit. He had already been crying.
"You should listen to your father." He said softly. "I'm not good to be around." He dared to look at her. "I'm a terrable person Lian." He sniffled. "My own mother wants to lock me away." He buried his face again.
d**k had the most patience out of the entire family. Bruce was usually busy but he would talk to Damian at times. Tim was just annoying.

Lian's eyes widened as she saw the tears and she instantly did what her daddy did for her. "No, no, you're good Damian." She said brushing his tears away and kissing his wet cheeks. "I can tell you're good, you're the son of Batman! Batman is a great man!" She kissed his tears away without thought then brushed them away with her little thumbs. "You just have to grow up and become a great man too that's all." She said smiling fondly at him.
Roy listened and then looked, down, feeling bad . He stepped away from his hiding spot and made his way back down to find d**k, let Damian and Lian work this out.

d**k sa Roy come down alone. Not good. He stood up and looked at Roy worried. "What happened?" He asked. He prayd that Damian didn't dig his hole deeper and piss Roy off more. "I'm so so sorry Roy..." d**k was scared that Roy was ready to pack up Lian and leave.
Damian looked at Lian a bit confused. She was being so sweet to him. And no one kissed him other than the time Grayson kissed him on the head. Damian threatened to stab him, but he couldn't do that with Lian.
"You think so?" He asked her. His voice was a bit shaky. He glanced back inside expecting to see her father there with an arrow pointed at him, but there was no one.
((awww damian is sooo cute...)

"She uh..." Roy an his fingers through his hair and looked at d**k, "No it's okay, no need to apologize....I just realized...maybe Damian could be good for Lian." He shrugged "she really likes him and...she doesn't just defy me for anyone--maybe they have something ya know?" Roy sighed and sat down, "Lian sees to trust him so--I guess I can give it a shot. He blows up another bomb in her face though and that deal is over!"
"Mmhm!" Lian said with a bright smile. She then looked up at the night sky and said," Y'know it's lovely up here." She looked around with bright green eyes and smiled "I like it here, with you, I wish we could stay like this." She said, resting her heard on Damian's shoulder and kicking her legs innocently, her red shoes clicked on the brick.

d**k sat beside Roy and took his hand. "Damian is rough around the edges but.. He does grow on you." He smiled. "Those two do have a lot in common though, but Lian had you to bring her up positivly. Damian had Talia and Ras." He sighed. "We didn't get our hands on him until recently." He leaned in and kissed Roy on the lips softly. "You two might butt heads though. He's argumentive toward adults." He shrugged. "Especially ones he feel sintimidated by."
Damian dropped his legs beside her's. "It is nice up here." He realized it was a bit chilly so far up. Damian pulled off his jacket and placed it on Lian's shoulders and took her hand in his. He looked out over the large span of property. "i would like to see you again if your father allows it."

"So he's intimidated by me?" Roy asked with a grin, "Good, he should be. that's my little girl he's interested in." Roy sighed and tugged d**k closer before kissing him soundly on the lips, he kissed the boy--no man deeply and hummed appreciatively before pulling back. "He just better not try and kiss my baby like that anytime soon." he teased, nipping d**k's lower lip before looking at d**k curiously.
Lian blinked at the jacket and smiled when Damian took her hand. "This reminds me of those sappy movies Daddy likes to watch." She blushed and covered her lips, "Oops! I wasn't suppose to say that! Don't let Daddy know I told you bout his sappy movies!" She said before giggling.
Lian smiled and squeezed Damian's hand, "Daddy will let me see you again, he's in love with Papa Grayson!" She said, smiling at him. "We'll see each other lots I bet!"

d**k shrugged. He didn't have an answer for that one. "To be honest I have no clue what he is aware of in that department. He acts like an adult but I don't think he's aware of all that." He answered honestly. "Then again... He is Bruce Wayne's son." He teased.
Damian smiled. "I would like to see you...' He stopped and thought about the rest of her words. "Wait. Pappa Grayson?" He looked at curiously. "Love? You mean?" He tried to think about the dinamics of that one anjd knew there were people that issues with man on man and woman on woman. He shrugged. "Whatever floats their boat I guess." He looked at Lian. "You ready to go inside?" He asked her.
