Wat. "Wat." Indeed. The pony prince was not discouraged by the talk of having a dirty hoof. "It's my hoof and it goes in dirt when I trot and canter and s**t. And why should I shower, I'm the Pony <********> Prince."

Yay more dirt! Yay! Thing flipped on to his back and wiggled in all the dirt that was falling down, practically bathing himself in it like a chinchillie with a dust bowl. He was becoming an absolute filthy mess and he loved it. And Princess Eva was even being so kind as to continue jumping around, knocking yet more dirt on top of him.

She was absolutely the best friend he ever had.

A chance to hold Yin's hand? How could Alex refuse! He, of course, reached out with his own hand to grip that of the weremantis's, letting himself be pulled along to the minipet enclosure for the second time that night. As they approached, his eyes scanned the area, but he didn't see his pet anywhere. That was odd, so he somewhat hurried his way over to the fence, releasing Yin's hand so he could grip it as he craned his neck around.

He hoped the little guy hadn't somehow managed to escape, but he supposed that it was more then possible he was just down in that pit and he couldn't see him. Though...there was another hole not far away, and a pile of dirt beside it as though it were freshly dug...and little gurgling sounds (Alex had long since associated that with his pets form of purring) coming from within.

"Hey uh..pet! The one with the skull..uh, skully! Where are you boy? Come here!" he called.

This was all assuming his pet could even climb out of the hole, which for some reason Alex highly doubted he could. Eyeing the other pets in the enclosure, Alex decided to climb over the fence and have a look. He shambled to the edge of the hole and looked down, only to see that not only was his pom's located within, but Princess Eva as well. Alex reached down to help pull both of them out, not really sure that Yin's pet would even let him touch her, but hoping she wouldn't decide to like..bite him or anything.

At least Alex was wearing his suit jacket again, so even as Princess Eva climbed his arm and onto his back where she jumped off so that she could reunite with her boil, it was only the jacket that got covered in dirt. And dirt could be easily brushed off and cleaned if Alex could find a dry cleaners to take it to. Perhaps there was one in the maul. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure she had safely made her way over to Yin before reaching down and picking up the incredibly filthy wriggling mass of half furry, half skeletal poms and holding it out at arms length until he was able to set him down on the ground above the hole.

"Sorry, Yin...I think my pet may have dug that. He likes to bury himself in things and possibly over did it a little bit? Maybe Princess Eva fell inside..." He speculated, moving his foot back as the poms started rubbing himself up against Alex's leg, getting the bottom of his pants covered in grime.

"They both seem ok though..if not a little dirty?" He said, with a hopeful expression that Yin wasn't going to get angry about this.

"Mhm, good answer. Why not celebrate love every day?" Gideon sidled even closer, his own body now pressing slightly against her more ethereal one. Though all the mushrooms seemed to have magically disappeared, he could still feel their influence - the lingering stench they'd left behind must have still been in the air. He didn't know why, but he did know that he liked it.

"Scarentine... such a lovely word, isn't it? Quite the title as well, wouldn't you say?" Gideon smiled warmly, adding a little more pressure against Kari's body. He was feeling exceedingly warm, which was strange since he'd just gotten groomed, and there weren't any lights pointed directly at him. "Kari...would you like that title?"

It almost sounded as if...yes, Alexander was answering the question he had asked Princess Eva. The zomboil had a fairly decent theory, but the idea of Princess Eva just falling was somewhat laughable. Princess Eva was just cuddling up to him, and it was hard to really concentrate, though he did shoot a few looks at the poms. If he had hurt Princess Eva...

Well, there was only one to answer that question. The princess herself. "Will you be alright Princess Eva?" She yipped softly and nuzzled him in affirmation. "Did Alexander's pet cause this to happen?" She whined lightly, burying her face in his chest. He shot a hard look at the creature. "Should I take care of him for you Princess Eva?"

She thought about it. She really, really did. But finally she pushed herself away until Yin released his hold and she landed lightly on the ground and walked a little farther into the penned area as if to say "no, I am fine here on my own."

Though she really, really wanted a bath.

Yin softened a little, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Apparently "Skully/Thing" would live another day. "Your pet is very adept at digging holes," he noted, while climbing back over the fence, eyes trained, as always, on Princess Eva.

Princess Eva was trying very hard to get settled back into the swing of things. She had made it clear to her boil that she could handle things here, but now...she was stuck here for a while longer. Her fur was filthy and she did not want Kari to see her like this. She did not want anyone to see her like this.

Now more than ever she wished for mushrooms. At least she could hide under them.

And then the Contract treat began to creep again.
