"Sure we are, We're both citizens and shinobi of Kumogakure." Laxus said smiling. He felt the child's words were slightly more ominous than they should have been until he spoke a second time. Inwardly he sighed with relief, this was just a normal kid, and not some grand assassin of epic proportions. He dropped his hand to one knee and brought the other one forward as he looked at Shikaku. Letting out a sigh Laxus closed his eyes momentarily, and opened them quickly. His eyes had closed for only a second, not long enough for Shikaku to have done anything. "I didn't sell anything. I also don't think that this is the time or place to be speaking about such a thing. Long story short, I got more than I gave when talking to the foreign shinobi, and I was asked if I was hiding anything. It's not my fault I asked for information in exchange for what I revealed. If any of it was learned by Sunagakure, then the blame solely lies on the shoulders of the one who initiated the question." Laxus said leaning back and crossing his arms. It was actually getting kind of taxing to remain on the wall, especially now that he was leaning back. It was really working his core, maybe he could use this as a training exercise when he started building muscle for a taijutsu style. "Look, I'm going to level with you. You saw something you shouldn't have, and I was doing something in public I shouldn't have. How about we do a mission together, grab a bowl of ramen, I'll pay for yours, and call it a day? You remain silent, and I'll put in a good word for how sneaky you are, and recommend you for any and all missions that require your sneakiness. Deal?" Laxus said smiling. This kid was cute, annoying, and a damn good haggler. Laxus wasn't sure if the kid was working an angle, or if the kid was genuinely confused. He seemed too smart to be so easily confused. By his looks he seemed innocent, but the fact he had sneaked up to Laxus proved he was far from it.

( I actually like Shikaku. xD I think Laxus just kinda gave up on playing the nice guy though there at the end. xD )

Shikaku continued to stare in the exact same manner, occasionally blinking and shifting his head to tilt in one direction and then the other again, silently waiting for the older boy to finish speaking. For all his talk of not giving away any information, Shikaku was definitely getting an earful for not having given any in return. Rather the opposite of what he'd just claimed, of having gotten more than he gave. "So, it was your fault?" the boy asked in his innocent tone, pointing at the boy and tilting his head in the opposite direction again. "You said you asked the question, and the blame lies on the one who asked the question, so you're the one to blame, right?"

But, beyond just that, the boy had entirely stopped trying to e subtle, and offered him a bribe for his silence. One would guess he didn't want anyone to know someone had managed to sneak up on him and read his mission report. But, really, Shikaku couldn't say he wanted to go on a mission with the strange boy. He certainly didn't think he needed a good word on his sneakiness from a boy who couldn't seem to keep his own secrets either. Not to mention it would be a distinctly bad idea for him to keep silent if asked about what he'd seen. But then, if there was one thing he'd learned growing up, it was to milk any situation for everything it was worth, because you might not get the same chance again. Time then to see what else the boy was willing to give up in return for his peace of mind. Without making it obvious that he was doing it.

"I don't like ramen either." the boy lied smoothly, sticking his tongue out as if to rid it of a foul taste. Making sure at the last moment to accidentally lose some saliva off the end of his tongue in the process, which, thanks to positioning, would fall straight into the other boy's face. You had to get your kicks where you could.

Laxus brought his hand forward quickly, blocking the saliva from hitting him in the face. This simple thing was taken as an accident, but a vein in his forehead bulged slightly, showing he was extremely agitated. It was due to a mix of The boy evading all of his questions, as well as making him out to be the bad guy. Laxus had had enough of that! He wasn't going to be told what he had done was wrong. Kensei had asked if he held any information back. He asked the same in return! Kensei expanded on what his sharingan was, Laxus hadn't pressured him any more than vaguely asking what the sharingan was. Then he was considered to be the bad guy for intervening when Kensei seemed to have insulted the Kazekage! How could Laxus be blamed for not knowing the Kazekage wouldn't have minded Kensei mentioning his age and size. Either way, Laxus was probably going to be fired, and likely killed. He didn't know much of anything, but he was a loose end. A very small insignificant end, but still one none the less.

" You're omitting the fact I was asked first. So no, I'm not the one to blame. " Laxus said sighing. This kid was starting to get more annoying than innocently cute. Laxus let out another sigh, thinking of his next move. He really couldn't think of much actually, he simply was going to be called out for what he'd done. Hopefully this wasn't the slip up that would end his career, and he'd be allowed to continue in his line of work. " It doesn't really matter much anymore though. " Laxus said shaking his head. He wiped his hand off onto the wall, removing the traces of saliva from it. He let out another sigh and walked along the wall. " I wonder where you stashed all of your things. " He said smiling. If the boy was a shinobi, then he definitely carried weaponry. He didn't really care, he was just wanting to turn the tides. He was actually leaving the area rather than going to find the boy's items. " Bye little guy. " Laxus said, leaving the area after walking along the wall to the edge of the training grounds.

( I've got to have him find Kensei or Sora. But first I'll have him do a mission, and finish the mission report at his apartment room. )

Shikaku stood up himself as the other boy made to leave, letting up his pretense of innocence just a little, he let a small grin crawl onto his face. The boy seemed incredibly defensive about the whole matter, even so far as running away rather than facing it. Very interesting. "But you answered, and still asked again." he called out to the departing boy's back, one final dig at his apparently fragile conscience. No matter how much the delusional boy wanted to claim it wasn't his fault because someone else asked first, he could have been the one to say no, that it wasn't the time or place for that discussion. That he instead answered and asked a question of his own made him doubly at fault, not less so.

Shikaku shook his head, chuckling to himself as the boy vanished into the distance. He certainly would keep that one's likeness in mind. If only to ensure he didn't have him along on any "Missions of discretion", as the Raikage had termed it. The boy had been very loose with information. Even if he had read the report, he still learned a fair bit about the events just from the boy's speech, and the boy had walked away without knowing anything about Shikaku in return.

Shaking his head again, Shikaku hopped down from the wall, and began gathering his things. The other boy had been trying to scare him claiming he was going to find his stuff, he wasn't sure why, but the kid apparently hadn't thought to look at his own feet in the process. Slipping his gloves on, and hefting his backpack back onto his shoulders, Shikaku hopped onto the wall again, and gave one last glance over the terrain, searching for Timmy, who was still nowhere in sight. Ah well, he'd found something to put him in a better mood anyways. Time to go see his new home.

Whistling to himself, Shikaku made his way down the wall again, headed back into the village.

Amira watched as a pair of sweating males left the area and stepped in to an area covered in grass. It was basically a level area so she figured it would be as good a place as any to begin her practice. She was actually quite excited to be practicing the things she had learned before. She'd even gone through the trouble of purchasing some scrolls that had the information on a few of the techniques. She'd gotten them in case she forgot something or needed to further perfect her stances. The basics were always something to be treasured and practiced as much as possible so that they would forever be memorized by your body. Her own was quite good at doing this, so it didn't turn her off as it did for most others. The girl's history of training was probably accountable for that as well though. Though, the most peculiar thing about her training was the fact she used a scythe in place of the sword that most of her attacks required. She was an oddity in all aspects, but it was this that she adored about herself and her training. Bending down, she removed the shoes and socks on her feet so that she could feel the earth below her. Revealing over several dozens of cuts and scares roaming from her toes to the middle of her calf from the years of training she'd been through, the girl stood up. Standing with her arms at her side, her eyes closed, she listened to the sound of the winds whispering in her ears, rolling over the grass and disappearing into nothingness yet again. Her heartbeat seemed to roar in her ears like a rhythmic drum until she knew her focus was purely on every part of her body and on nothing else around her. In only an instant, her arm came to her shoulder and unlatched a leather strap over her shoulder that held the long black metal weapon on her back. It fell to her other hand that was already waiting at the small over back. As soon as it was in her hand, her right foot twisted to the side and allowed her body to twirl along with it so that the pole came around to the front of her body and slashed viciously at the open air before her with the sharp sliver on one end of her pole.

[Learned Iaidō]

Ending her attack with another single-handed twirl of the pole and solidly placing the end into the ground, Amira looked over the rock wall to see some girl practicing what looked to be some form of Martial Art. It looked interesting enough for Amira to place it in the back of her mind to learn for the future. Being someone who practiced solely in the art of Weaponry didn't mean she couldn't learn how to defend herself without it. Shaking the thought off, she readied herself for the next attack she'd practice. With the pole in much the same ready position as a long sword out in front of her, the end just going off towards her right side with her left arm forwards, she waited a moment before raising the weapon over her head and slashing down with incredible speed, only to twist her wrist at the last second and go straight back up just before the end of the pole would have hit the ground. The speed was intense enough for the action to merely be a blur before the eyes of the untrained. The teen Shinobi kept this ending position for a few seconds before relaxing her shoulders and letting the weapon come to her side like a simple stick.

[Learned Turning Swallow Cut]

Raising the pole upwards, she studied the red gem at the end to ensure that it didn't sustain any damage from the rush. It didn't seem as though it had any contact with the ground that she saw, so she nodded to herself and simply rubbed the tip with her shirt to let the real shine of the gem show through. The pure size of the gem could run her some serious cash if she decided to sell it, not that she ever would. The thing was her prized possession. She'd never so much as let someone touch it let alone sell it off to some stranger. There were some things that she wanted to try on the thing though, but that could always be done later on. Readying herself in the same position she had done before, the slender bodied Shinobi thrust her weapon forwards and exerted a bit of Chakra along with the action to elongate the sharp end of the pole and set it out another three feet from the actual weapon. For those who were unknowing of the technique, it would be quite a shock to see. The Chakra that was exerted had dissipated just as quickly as it had appeared and left the girl in an ending position that was very common. Her left foot was out front, her knee bent just slightly as her toes of the right foot pointed off to the side. Her arms were straight before her and her piercing blue gaze was positioned on where the body of her invisible victim would have stood. Once she grew bored of this, the female set her weapon down and got ready to do a little weaponless practice.

[Learned Drying Pole]

Amira the Scythe User stood tall at five foot five inches with her shoulders back and head high. In just a second, she fell to the ground, one foot underneath the mass of her body. Her other leg stretched out as she swung it around her low-set body in a simple yet quick sweeping motion. It was something simple but essential when you were fighting. If you could get your opponent to back up or fall it would tip the scales of a fight in your favor just enough for you to finish everything quickly and efficiently. The tip of her toes were now covered in dirt from her actions in the grass, but the female didn't mind much at all at this point. Taking a shower when she got back to her temporary residence was not something she was against. Perhaps one more before she left for the Kage's Office would be good enough.

[Learned Flowing Sweep]

Getting into a simple fighting position, the young Amane woman imagined an enemy coming forwards at her for an attack. Stepping forwards with her left leg just off to the side, she twirled her body delicately in a circle so that the attack would never have hit in the first place. This would have left her in the perfect position for another attack to the guys back. With her body used to performing twirls, back bends and flips, and overall delicate actions, it was simple enough for her to continue her initial twirl and release her leg for a kick at the person's back. But what if this misses? There was always that little possibility. Dropping to the ground, the female performed another Flowing Sweep to ensure that her movements would land. The girl's face was clear of emotion at this point as she stood up and looked at the circles in the grass around her from her twirls and leg sweeps. Poor earth. Perhaps next time she should find an indoor training area for her practices. Wiping off as much dirt and grass as she could from her feet, she slipped her red socks and fuzzy-top boots back on before grabbing her black metal pole and placing it on her back. There was still one thing she had to do before the day was over.

Iaidō | D Rank
With a single, unhindered motion a true Bushin can unsheathe his weapon and strike at the same time. This can provide a elegant- yet effective way to catch your opponent off guard.

Turning Swallow Cut | D Rank
Utilizing chaka to stimulate the nervous system, this cut is reputedly so quick and precise that it can strike down a bird in mid-flight. It is a downward strike which is then spun back up into an upward strike, both strong enough to effortlessly slice through even the hardest wood.

Drying Pole | D Rank
The user extends the tip of their blade with chakra as they thrust. Like a beam of energy, the strike can stretch several extra feet.
