Faelynn looked at the skirts and then said, "Well, they just came off when she got into fighting... So I believe that they are custom skirts. Those are very expensive." Faelynn looked down to her own clothing. Then her eyes darted to a bag in the corner that belonged to her. Her dancer skirt was a custom made skirt, and one of the inexpensive ones. Even inexpensive was still a lot though.

"Yes, I believe she did say something about them being custom skirts. Specifically made for fighting." Alexandre said calmly. "What all injuries does she have? I am merely curious, if she was merely working off of adrenaline or stubbornness when she left to retrieve the skirts."

Though Slaine wanted to mock women and their clothing, and that Oralee had gone after skirts, no matter how expensive, but he knew well just how dire financial strains could be. Sighing and running a hand through his dark blond hair, Slaine addressed Alexandre's question. "Cracked ribs. Ashamed as I am, I can't remember how many. She also had extreme bruising along her back and legs. Several cuts and gashes. I could heal all but the cracked ribs. They need to set naturally. They're pretty severe, though. Also, tho last time, I noticed she's slightly malnurished." Slaine walked over to the counter, pulling out a new file and starting on Oralee's.

"Well, I suppose I can leave her in your care now Dr. Cael." He said with a small nod. "Do wish her a speedy recovery from me. I need to find a job. Hopefully someone needs a soldier." He turned but then stopped, "Unless you need anything more from me, that is."

Sophia Pendragon

"It's an acquired taste." Sophie joked when he commented on her odd sense of humor. She drummer her fingers across the wooden table momentarily before both of them seemed to agree to a favor. She swiftly turned plucking a black journal from her bookcase and flipping through it. "I would never ask anything that I don't think you could complete. Besides I'm sure you are much to modest about your talents." She replied before snapping the book shut. "However it appears that I need nothing at the moment. So shall we have a standing agreement that you simply owe me on reasonable favor?" Sophie questioned before picking up a sling bag from the corner. She brushed a bit of dust from it and began to pick out full potion bottles from her shelves warping the more fragile ones in some cloth before placing them inside the bag.

Slaine glanced up at Alexandre when he began to leave. A soldier? That was an odd profession. He's probably closer to a mercenary. Now, at least. I don't doubt he was a soldier once. "Your name, if you're willing to give it. If you've told me, I forgot it." Slaine glanced at the sleeping Oralee. "She might wish to get in contact with you later, but somehow I think she has her ways of finding someone." Slaine still didn't understand why she had singled out their relatively small clinic for the donations she gave. As far as he knew, she'd never been here before. Not for treatment, anyway.

Alexandre nodded to Slaine, "Alexandre Kalderash. It is easy enough to find me." He glanced at Oralee, "And you're probably right. I doubt she would need much more than a name to find someone. She seems to be very resourceful." Hen then nodded to Slain and Faelynn in turn, "It was a pleasure to meet you both. Perhaps if I am ever in need of treatment I shall try to come here." He then gave a small smile, "Zhan le devlesa tai sastimasa." he said befor turning to leave.

Lorne smirked at Sophia, "Okay, I'll put it blunt. I have one skill set. Thievery." He slowly stood, "And I hate being in dept to people. You sure there's nothing that you need?" He gently moved his left arm wincing. The poison was removed, but he still had wounds from the barbs.

Slaine shook his head slightly as the interesting man stepped out. What was that saying he'd left them with? Sighing and shoving his hair out of his face, Slaine glanced at the 'donation. Lady's, Oralee. What did she do that allowed her to leave such lavish donations? And that's what they were, lavish. Turning towards his sister, he rested a hand on her arm. "Now, how can I help? What's going on?"

Sophia Pendragon

Sophie stopped her packing for a moment and smiled when Lorne spoke again. "I know your skills very well, my dear Night Fox." She replied before continuing to place the bottles in her satchel. Her eys flickered to his wound when he winced before closing the satchel and lifting it over her head to sling across her shoulder. "I am quite positive. I don't need anything at the moment. At least anything that you could get for me. It's fine though. The favor isn't required." She said was a small shrug adjusting the strap. "Now I must take my leave. I have some places to visit." Sophie stated with a knod moving toward the door.

Lorne shook his head when he heard the name Night Fox. He hadn't heard that name in a long time. "Never thought I'd hear that one again. And I make it point to pay off debts owed. There is honor among thieves." He said with a small smile, "I guess, we should be taking our leave."

((Totally lost on what to do with Alexandre))

Loa paced the floor in the large castle that had always been her home. The sweeping plains of Exortensis stood outside the window, but that was the view she'd always seen, and held little interest for her now. Her mind was, as always, on her Prince. It had always been her duty to protect him, not just by the kings decree, but in return for him saving her own life. Loa paused and glanced back at the door that closed off her Prince from her. It grated, not knowing he was safe, even if he was only a room away, but as a mere bodyguard, a lower form, she didn't have the right to follow him everywhere. What is it today, I wonder. He always has some plan for the day, what are we doing today? Several knights walked past her, some snorting, one obviously leering, and one sneering. Loa raised her eyes to watch them, only interested in seeing if they went into the room where her Prince waited. For a split moment, Loa let herself think of him by his name, Riordan, before she forced herself to return to the distance of refering to him as 'Prince'.

Faelynn smiled nervously. "I was going to tell you . . ." She thought quickly and in almost an instant finished her sentence. "That I need some help making more permanent cast bindings." She breathed normal. "I'm almost out." She prayed that Slaine bought this idea, for if he didn't she'd have to explain the extra income she had. She had gotten him away from it by saying the clients were giving her an extra tip, but now would he buy it?

Godelieve nodded quickly. "It'd be rude to stay, don't you agree?" She stood up slowly, making sure she didn't hurt herself. She hid her bitterness at the fact that Sophie was beautiful, and now having said 'my dear' to Lorne. . . That ignited a spark of jealousy. She didn't expect it, and hoped she had caught it before she glared.

Slaine tilted his head at her words, pausing to think about it. Something didn't feel right, but... I have to trust Faelyn. If something were wrong, she'd tell me. If she has secrets.... It hurts, I'll admit it, but they're hers to keep. "Alright. Faelynn?" He rested a hand on her shoulder and smiled weakly. "I trust you. If you have secrets, don't feel pressured to tell me, alright?" Slaine hesitated a moment, then pulled Faelynn into his arms and hugged her. "Give me a minute to pretend you're a little girl again." He muttered. Why do I feel like the world is about to shake out from under us?

Lorne gave a final nod to Sophie then he took Godelieves hand and led her out of the house. "Now, how did we get here? I wasn't paying attention, obviously." He said with a small smile, "And....hey, are you okay? You seem.... different all of a sudden." He said, concerned about his friend and partner-in-crime. "Oh, and sorry that my job turned out to be a set up. I guess there's no money to be made today."

Alexandre felt something was wrong as he left the clinic. He turned sharply on his heel and made his way back. "Dr. Cael?" He said as he entered back in. "Would.....would it be okay If I stayed here? Just until Oralee wakes up? I have some questions I'd like to ask her, and I have a feeling that there won't be any jobs for me today, anyway."

Prince Riordan Kynton Tavin, he sighed as he exited the conference room, pinching the bridge of his nose. Nobles and warmongers, all conspiring for him to start a war behind his fathers back. They spoke as if his father was already on his death bed. As he looked up to Loa he tried to smile, but anyone could tell it was forced. These meetings were getting more and more trying on his patience and even his calm temper was beginning to wear thin. "Loa, do you think I can manage? Do you think that I can get to a peaceful end, and not have to resort to a full scale war? Or am I just clinging to false dream and a hope for an ideal world?" he said softly as he approached his bodyguard.

Loa returned her gaze to the door when she heard it open, relieved to see Riordan exit. Her worry returned, though, when she saw her long time friend was pinching the bridge of his nose. That means he's troubled. Stepping forward, Loa returned his smile, but hers too was forced. s she always did, Loa listened avidly when he spoke. "I... I don't know, your Highness. I suppose anything is possible. Mayhap you need to know where the other leaders stand?" It would be so simple if he could just sigh the treaty- or his father- and be allied with Incolumitas, but so many nobles would see it as a betrayal. My prince has to find a way to convince the nobles that we can win more by being allies, than we could by waging a war. "You know always that I am at your command, my prince."
