Bix was pacing around his bow (which was just laying in the middle of the floor) with his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth. This was his thinking face. Just as he'd gotten an idea, Gale (whom he now realized was normal size) tripped over him. This knocked him face down again and he kicked his legs in frustration.
Bix pushed himself back up, bottom in the air (and anyone looking probably got a bit of 6 yr old butt out of that), then stood. His shirt, thankfully, covered him back up again. Bix plopped down, put his feet on the bow, and started to yank back the string with both hands.
His expression of exertion was adorable but he was basically useless.

Caelius stopped for a second from his attack versus Killer Bear From Hell to pause at the new arrival, though their appearance had thrown him off their attitude did not.
For a second, he glared at them, ignoring the shadow monster entirely. A specimen as weak as that was not worth his time. "H. Did you leave your ******** articles unattended again?"

The miniature doctor just looked at Caelius for one long moment, and then grinned, "Nope. Are you interrogating the hideous stuffed bear to find out the location of the artifact?" There was a silent but very strongly implied, because that's all you ever do anyways, regardless of the situation.

Aleister squeaked when H hit the bear, "HEY Don't hit me!!!!" He then scrambled away from it flailing slightly and was looking for a place to hide. Of course it seemed all utterly useless as far as hiding so he sighed finally tired of Puca's name calling. <Stop being a bully, I'll try okay....>He summoned Puca and watched as the spiky ball fell to the floor. YUP this was going to go real well. Aleister tried to swing Puca but only ended up smacking himself in the face with the chain. He sat down sniffling, oh this was the worse day ever. "Yes," Caelius replied, without missing a beat, pulling his jacket towards him and past the bear. "It has been much more informative than your results the past week." And then the very clear undertones of something that probably went because you'll just indulge yourself anyway, regardless of the situation.
This might have been much more intimidating if they did not sound and look like two five-year-olds.

Whoa whoa whoa what was this. The sudden shock of the monster's appearance pushed all thoughts of farts, burps, and butts from Madison's mind, as well as shoving away a good bit of the childish demeanor. The little girl stared at it, then summoned Kouki, only to yelp as a hail of swords fell all around her. Thankfully, the blades were still in their scabbards, but... "Ow ow ow ow ow you're a jerk, Kouki!!"
How are we a jerk?! We are the size we have always been!
"Shut up! Meanie." Madison managed to unsheathe one sword and stab at the monster-thingie, but she had to hold the hilt in both hands and... no. Just no.

Before had stayed in his dorm room the moment he realized he had shrunk into a kid. Before wouldn't have minded being ten, or eleven but no. He looked like he was five and he already acted enough of a kid on a regular basis as it was. He didn't need to look the part, thank you very much.
You don't look too different, silly Before. Vanna observed, amused. SHORTER but not too different.
Thanks a lot, Vanna, that really made him feel better. Not. 8CCCCCC He contemplated staying under the covers FOREVER, either until whatever happened to him wore off or he died from starvation. Not going outside like this. Nope nope nope >C
But there was a ******** of noise going on outside and Before's curiosity won out in the end. He had to step on a chair to reach the doorknob and venture outside. The good thing about being fairly short compared to most of the guys? His clothes weren't as baggy. It didn't mean he was less likely to trip over them, this was Before after all.
But then he found something was attacking and Before's instincts kicked in. He turned around to head back to his room.
SILLY BEFORE, YOU WILL NOT SHAME ME BY RUNNING FROM A FIGHT YOU HAVEN'T TRIED YET!!!
Before gulped, summoned his weapon and made a halfhearted swing at the thing. He didn't even come close to hitting it. ;; Stupid short legs and arms.

Vanessa wasn't usually a heavy sleeper, but for some reason, the screams eariler and even the sound of what might've been frantic kazooing outside her room hadn't been enough to actually rouse the red-head fully from her sleep. Finally, when the alarm started, Vanessa sat up and attempted to get out of her bed. The attempt didn't go over very well, and the now tiny, tiny little girl found herself almost falling over from the fact that the floor had been so far away. "What...?" She started, looking down to herself to discover that the tank she'd slept in the night before was now a dress, and the pajama pants were now just a pile of fabric around her legs. She hastily hauled them back up and fished around her nightstand (which was so much taller than it should've been) until she found some string to tie the sweat-pants up with and stuck the ends to high enough that they weren't completely dragging. Vanessa didn't really panic until she saw the mirror.
Why was Vivi in her mirror?
Vanessa stared at the little version of her, horrified until she realized that her little sister was not actually there, and that she simply looked like she was much, much younger than usual. 'Volt. Volt, something's wrong, why am I so small? What's going on--' her mental pestering was almost immediately answered by the tesla cannon.
:: Vanessa, ohmygosh you look so cute it's like you're fiveeeeeeeeeeeee~ :: The tesla cannon sounded infinitely amused, and that helped to snap Vanessa back to reality. The alarm. Why was there an alarm blaring?
Vanessa had finally managed to escape her room when she found herself looking at the what-shouldn't-have-looked-huge-but-was shadow monster down the hallway. Immediately Vanessa's game face expression appeared, and she attempted to summon Volt.
Volt who was, you know, around half the size of Vanessa normally. The tesla cannon was now the same height, if not taller than, Vanessa. Clearly the little life trainee had not thought this through very well. She almost dropped the weapon with a little eek, but somehow managed to heft the front end of the cannon up with the holding bar on the top, the electrical chamber in the middle and rear of the weapon clattering to the floor. She could barely keep the barrel of her weapon off the floor, but that couldn't stop the little girl. Using her foot, she finally managed to nudge the trigger, and the cannon shot out a bolt of electricity that, somehow, managed to hit the enemy.
Little Vanessa was so, so very proud.

Giving Aleister a glare, the darker boy countered, "Well that's what happens when you'd rather play with a <******** bear than read the big words on the reports. I'll be sure to have Robert write the next ones for you." This was less a threat than a very dire, very sincere promise.

The "Death Hunter" simply flipped his cohort the bird as he finally made it out to the door, who knew it could be such a daunting task? "Let me know when Robert replaces you then, you're due for a nice retirement anyway."
He tried to dramatically slam the door closed behind him: unfortunately his coat did not agree quite as much. There was a lot of cursing and tugging-
-and then the door properly closed.

There was this funny thing about being reminded that you were, physically, a coward.
And that was when the thing appeared, Cass resumed what she'd been doing previously: Crying. The little success that Marcus had with reigning the little tear-y five year old in was undone in the form of Miss Norris sobbing. She looked at Marcus, then at the monster, pointing as her little baby-mind that was trying to override her normal Cass-brain went berserk.
Even Nicodemus was trying to figure out what to do as Cass tugged on the chain, the sword lamely behind her as she fussed at the gun.
She ended up shooting herself in the foot and crying more.

Thankfully, Vanna's natural ability to float made walking towards a crying Aleister easier. At least he didn't resort to dragging her on the floor, that would have been upsetting for his partner. And he didn't want her upset. The same way he didn't want someone H was being his usual meanie-face-McMeanies to to be crying.
"Do you need a hug?" 8C he offered with one arm. The other was holding the large wheel like a shield and from the corner of his eye he spied his fellow Misty Cass also crying. DDDDDD8 Noooo!! Girls crying is baaaaaad!!! "C-Cass? W-what's wrong?" 8CCCCC

The exchange between Caelius and H was interesting. Jordan had been aware that the two men didn't like each other, but it seemed that it went deeper than he'd thought. Maybe it was just closer to the surface than usual with the effects of whatever had regressed them.
He desummoned Ferros, clutching the ring in his hand, frustrated by his inability to fight. He'd gotten used to being able to charge in and do something about the freaks when they showed up; being suddenly helpless was all the more horrible for the knowledge that he should be able to handle this.
