[ DEAD END ZONE A ]
When she heard Titania’s voice over her headset Flair resisted the urge to punch the wall, maybe even throw her weapon to the ground. How frustrating it was to know that she had been so close to arriving to the center of the labyrinth, but then she bottled her exasperation and chose to keep bandaging her bleeding arm. Crying over spilled milk would never do her any good.kheleskul Headset Once I’m ready I’ll start backtracking then. If I’m lost I’ll tell you. She carefully wrapped the bandages and her arm while Flair silently thanked the Powers that be for having the arrows injure her non-dominant hand. If they had embedded themselves into her trigger hand she would have been in trouble then. Soon as they were knotted tightly she stood up and began to walk again. After a while, she found herself back at the dead end. The hunter grimaced. While she had successfully backtracked she would have preferred to find the Labyrinth’s center.OnionGrump Headset It’s alright. I’ve patched myself up already so I’ll be fine for now. Hope you didn’t stumble into any traps.

[DEAD END ZONE A]
Ever onwards he trudged for what seemed like forever, really limping now, hauling his body on with sheer force of will. Sometimes he was convinced that was all that held him together at times, pure raw willpower. He /had/ to find the relic, he /had/ to complete his mission, and no amount of fresh wounds seeping blood into bandages..painfully.. was ..
Focus David.
Yes. Was going to stop him. No way. Not this death hunter. So he walked on, only to be faced with ANOTHER dead end...though.. this one looked familiar.
We've been here before.

[Labyrinth Center] Marshall blinked at Isaac, taking an interested look at the whip he held; oddly similar, yet radically different. The whip Marsh held branched immediately from the grip into nine long, thin braided lashes of deep red leather, each tipped with a bead of white porcelain and a knot. "More a fox than a cat," he answered with a smile. "This is Princess Miyako." His tone was somewhere between sincerity and sarcasm, impossible to tell whether the title was mockery or respect. Others were starting to gather, coming and going as they searched for the way through the maze. It made Marsh a little nervous. He couldn't hear or see anyone past a certain distance; it was as though the labyrinth swallowed them up. He jumped at Isaac's shout, turned just in time to see Lowe vanish. What? Why had - he stared after his friend, frowning, then lifted a hand to press the button n the side of his headset. Rown Headset: Lowe, you okay? Where'd you go? He nodded to Isaac. "Stay safe yourself," he said. "This place is easy to get lost in." He watched Isaac go, then turned to start into one of the other corridors - and collided with Isaac again. What? " ... I don't think the maze plays fair," he said, a bit grumpily. "I'm trying this way." He headed down the corridor that had led Isaac back to the dead end - - and soon enough, found himself in the center of the labyrinth, where the division heads were combing the area, looking frustrated and disgruntled. Did that mean the artifact wasn't here? Well, s**t. Marsh made his way over to the dais, studying the runes there with a frown. He could make out a few of them, but he'd never been good at reading the damn things. They would give him a headache if he looked too long.

Cecil had been hanging back a bit as the others made their way into the labyrinth. If there was something horrible hidden within that any superiors had failed to note or notice, let the others get brutally murdered first. There was a nice lack of screaming, though, and so after a while he built up the courage figured it was time to grace the place with his presence. Hey, maybe he'd even find Em alone in a corner somewhere where they could make good use of the momentary private lull? Maybe. Mazes were nothing. Just like those little mercury-puzzle-games, he seemed to casually blast his way through each twist and turn, casually jogging at times, out-right strutting most times, using the frustrated shouts of his fellow hunters as signs of where NOT to go. By the time he made it to the center of the maze, he was singing merrily under his breath, resting his weapon on his shoulder as the other finished Fear Hunters came into view. "Ah! Well then, that wasn't so hard, was it?" He grinned, happy to take a seat for now as he took in who was where and what was going on. Location: CENTER OF MAZE (like a boss)

"d**k." Hey, you couldn't blame a girl for being one-track minded. "David? Derek? D...o.. MARSH!" That last one wasn't a guess, so much as the sight of her friend coming through the maze delighted her enough to scream his name. She almost dropped her pole, and came hurtling at Marsh, jumping up into his arms as soon as she slammed into him. If he caught her, her legs wrapped around his waist to let him carry her around. If he fell.. well then, she went down too. "I missed you SO MUCH."

Cody had managed to tug the makeshift bandage tight, or tight enough, but as soon as he found the others he was going to hound them into fixing it for him. Maybe they even had some clean bandage rolls on them, something that would actually stay in place.
:You should be thankful its only a flesh wound and it didn't puncture anything vital.:
Don't say that. The last thing I need is you jinxing it so that it does happen.
Dimitri made a rude sound, but remained quiet. To Flair Headset: "Uh well... I think I might have found one of those traps..." Might was pushing it. He did find one.To Flair Headset: "Glad to hear you're okay though. I'll see you at the rendezvous point then." He released the channel, only to finally catch Lex's words and frown. To Lex and Becca Headset: "Shuddap you! And I ran into something earlier, I had to stop to patch up my arm, when I get there can one of you re-do the bandage for me? I kind of did a sloppy job." He admitted and began feeling along the walls to help guide him to where ever it was he was walking. This labyrinth really was dark and he was beginning to wonder if he would ever find his way. His sense of direction sucked after all.To Lex and Becca Headset: "Damn I think I might have taken another wrong tu--" He stopped himself, blinking just as the dull light emitting from the glyphs came into view. A glow which thankfully allowed him to see the other hunters hanging about.
"Oh there you guys are. What took you so long?" He asked, Dimitri still drawn and clutched in one hand. The other, however, remained clamped over the still fresh wound.

(( Proxy roll for Rabid! ))[[Dead End Zone A]]
More wandering, more tension - a bright light -
- . . . and a dead end.
The likelihood of dying was pretty high. Going in, Adam had imagined a much more organized trek into the bowels of the labyrinth, but it seemed to be everyone running willy-nilly until they found some exit. He was nearly out of time, five minutes remaining. He had to get out.
But it was a godsend to hear his own heart and footsteps again. Though Petia was uneasy and murmuring.
Trundlebug Headset: Not long left, Isaac. You safe yet?

[Labyrinth Center] "W-whoa! Em!" Marsh staggered, arms coming up to catch Em as she leaped onto him like a playful cat, except much larger and with - yeah no he wasn't going down that route right now. "I'm happy to see you too," he said, and grinned. "You guys found anything yet?"

[Labyrinth Center] Em pressed her lips against Marsh's to give him a quick kiss, and then climbed off him, patting him gently. "Nah, we're all still looking. Use your weapon, I guess. It's going to know if something's up. Apparently if we don't find this artifact, we're all gonna go kaploo-ee." She didn't sound too phased. Everything always worked out at the last minute - that's how it had always been. Life threatening danger until suddenly something swooped in at the last minute to- "CECIL!" Cecil wasn't necessarily someone to jump on, but she still ran and grabbed him, pulling him into her arms for a welcoming kiss. "See, everyone's getting here now. Things will work out!" She held her pole up, and then pointed it at the ground, before giving Cecil a warm snuggle. "Help us look for this artifact, baby. Life or death, you know the deal!"

DEAD END B Fantastic, he was back to where he started from. Lowe had been running like a bat out of hell the moment he heard what sounded like the walls moving in and as soon as he was able he paused to catch his breath. An overly welcome and quite familiar voice crackled in his ear, the headset whispering his name. He raised his hand yo the side of the set and clicked the button, prepared to answer.DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING TO HIM. YOU'RE WEAK NOW BECAUSE OF THAT AND ARE BREAKING OUR PROMISE. USELESS WORM.
He pulled his hand away and peered into the darkness. Was he alone?

She quirked an eyebrow. Might? It was more likely he had.Cody Did you now? Hopefully it’s not too serious. Once we meet up I can fix the bandages. If there was one thing Flair had learned as a Life hunter it was that most people generally sucked at bandaging themselves. She glanced at her own injured arm, moving it up and down to test for any abnormalities or pings of pain, but luckily it didn’t hurt anymore. Glare tsk’ed at his partner. You humans always get injured so easily. If it was me I would’ve dodged it. The hunter rolled her eyes, but then stopped again when everything turned eerily quiet. At that moment she also noticed how pitch black her sight had become. She cursed.
Not again! She sucked in her breath as she heard the familiar rumbling sounds and she began to make a run for it. Again.

[[ Isaac is now in the Labyrinth Center ]] As soon as he'd seen Marshall leave the area, Isaac got the bright idea to follow. He wasn't sure of his theory about the maze separating you, and anyway, what did he have to lose by following someone else? He'd been wandering in circles for the past twenty minutes. As Marshall went forward, he followed as closely behind as he could. His brown eyes were lasered in on the glow of Miyako, as the light seemed to twist, and turn, and then altogether it was fading. /Wait!/ he thought to himself frantically-- was this the will of the maze? Marshall's boots were getting softer and softer and it seemed like the labyrinth had swallowed him up. /Wait! WAIT!/ He gave a little desperate leap, jumping after the last tails of Miyako's glow, when he suddenly stumbled into a large and open room. The division leads were milling around, checking strange writing around the area-- as were several other hunters. /Did we... make it?/ Isaac asked his whip in disbelief, and only got a grunt. He tried to walk closer into the room, standing tall, as though he hadn't been terrified seconds before of being lost again. Rabid Ice Weasel Headset: Yeah, I just made it to the center. Barely. Please hurry, Adam-- I don't want you to get stuck in there. He had faith in his friend. He didn't believe for a second, though he worried, that Adam would not be there.

Becca sighed in relief as the first of her boys came through. She ran over instantly to Lex, bearing his weight on her shoulder before looking down at his leg. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Injuries meant that they could possibly slow down and get caught.
"Lex, if you keep calling me these ridiculous names, I will be forced to shoot your already injured body." She didn't really put any bite in her words as she sighed again.
Cody Headset: I can patch it when you get here. Lex has a mild injury as well. Amazes me sometimes that the boy of you would get hurt.
"Finally Cody! Christ let me look at your arm." She sighed as she pulled out the supplies she had before looking at his arm, blood seeped through his crappy bandages. "Jeez, such a mess. You guys...." She took a fierce face as she started up.

[TRAP ZONE B]
And then... the walls were closing in. He wasn't sure when it had /started/ to happen, the only thing was that he was gradually becoming aware of it. At first it seemed like claustrophobia, then..no..really it was actually happening.
Run. for once he completely and fully agreed with his weapon, breaking into the most frenzied run he could manage in his current injured state. And yet still the walls seemed to close in nearer and nearer. Real raw panic gripped him and he staggered on, stooping low as the horrible place got smaller and smaller.
