He checked over her work and smiled approvingly good. Now if you take him to wait by the mounting block I'll be out in a moment. He strode off to disappear into another part of the stable.

Nodding she led him over to where London wanted her, getting tired of waiting she told Magic she was going to get on him. Using her tail for balance she swept onto him gracefully, positioning herself appropriately in the saddle she walked him around the area of the mounting block. Staring off in the distance, thinking of her blurred out thought of Elliotte and what they might possibly mean. She sighed heavily.

He reappeared a few moments later leading a Cremello colored gelding. He smiled when he saw her already mounted. "Good job." He said. "Syl meet Lightfoot." He indicated the prancing horse he was trying to keep hold of. He cupped his hand around the animal's ear and whispered briefly into it. When the horse stilled he quickly slipped onto its back. Right away it started to fight him to get moving.

She laughed at the Lightfoots antics, gratefully having no trouble with her mount. Turning magic around she looked behind her shoulder at London and set him off at a soft trot.

Seeing the other horse's movement Liffy tried to explode of after him. London expertly diverted his energy into the more productive process of a side-pass before allowing a trot after the others. He laughed as the horse beneath him extended his strides to catch and keep up with the larger animal.

"Hey london?..."Her voice wavered as she trailed off, staring at him deeply with wondering eyes.

He looked over at her with a question in his face. "Yeah, Syl?"

Immediately she stuck her tongue out and took off, slowly at first but speeding up quickly towards the trees. "Race ya!" She called back to him with laughter following.

He grinned and gave Liffy his head. The young horse instantly took advantage of it and dug his feet in to spring into his ground-eating stride. It wasn't long before they had caught up and he held the gelding in so that it appeared that she was winning.

Taking off to separate their distance by a row of trees she called out to him ,"What? going to let a girl win?" Taking off ahead confidently she weaved between trees being careful and remembering their earlier path. She loved the feel of controlling such a powerful creature! Not only that but she did it well, which made her fell better in some sense overall.

He marveled at the grace with which she handled the animal she was astride. His distraction allowed Liffy to catch up and run on the heals of Magic. "I don't think my steed would like that very much!" he called back to her.

She shot him a very daring look and asked magic to speed up which he did in his own calmly slow way. She smiled even though the bell fell off which allowed her braid to come undone, spilling emerald waves out and getting caught in the wind the speed was making. "He might just have to deal with it!" She mentioned.

Distracted by her hair London started to nod an agreement before realizing she wouldn't see him. "Maybe he wouldn't mind losing to a Lady."

After expertly weaving through the last set of trees she came to an opening to the gorgeous meadow where she first learned how to ride, carefully dismounting after she slowed Magic to a walk. She set the reigns loosely on him so he could roam slightly. Staring up at the clouds she seemed dazed or daydreaming with a soft smile on her lips.

London pulled Liffy up and followed her example of dismounting. "You can take the saddle the whole way off." He followed his words with example. "You could probably pull his bridle off too. He won't go anywhere as long as you're here. This guy on the other hand. . . " He bent to put a pair of hobbles on Liffy before pulling off his bridle. "Needs a bit of convincing to stay put."
