Riku had been searching amongst the broken pieces and such and found nothing. Just when she was about to give up, she found a piece that was good but not on her list. Placing it in her pack, she looked around trying to figure out a way out of here. That's when the two giant bird pokemon arrived. This time the Pidgeotto had brought a friend. The girl's eyes widened as grabbed some of the broken pieces and tried to toss them at the wide open beaks of the two pokemon!

Pokemon: Growlithe Name & Level: Sir Aiden von Fegefeuer der Wüstenhund [Sir Aiden the Desert Dog of Purgatory] , 3 [Temperament] Quirky Stats: HP:17/PP:20/ATK:10/DEF:8[9]/SPD:9/SP-ATK:10/SP-DEF:8 MOVES: Bite, Morning Sun, Howl, Flame Charge EXP: 11/200 Held Item: Resist Feather Bio: After Riku was journeying back towards the beginning of the island, she ran across a strange Growlithe. He seemed a little older and stranger then most pokemon they had encountered and yet not as violent. He challenged the pair to a duel and lost. Ryuu managed to knock him out with a powerful Bite attack, though luckily the pokemon was still barely conscious. With that, the pair were able to capture the Growlithe and he is a good addition to their team.

Riku's throw would succeed...at least partially. The part flying up, would catch the Pidgeotto in it's glass covered eye. Unfortunately, with the Spearrow coming from the other direction, she'd never have enough time to turn around and aim at the other Flying-Type as well. That sharp beak would come down, and in an instant the girl would be snapped up!
...Of course, luckily enough for the girl, this bird was a machine. Lacking any actual organs with which to digest her. Instead she'd find herself sliding through something rather similar to an air-duct, crashing through a number of loose wires, and landing hard upon a flat metal pathway. With railing on either side, and easy access to a number of the larger gears, pistons, and valves, it seemed likely this was a path created for maintenance crews.
Now the girl was in the belly of the beast; something that presented both an opportunity, and a problem...

Riku had watched as the metal piece hadn't exactly landed int the Pidgeotto's mouth but instead hit it in the eye. Well at least it had been effective as the bird was distracted at the moment. As the girl felt triumphant, she realized that she had forgotten the other bird. Trying to turn and toss, she missed and was instead swallowed up. Getting tangled and then finally landing with a loud thump on a metal pathway, she just sat there for a second. Getting herself together, she looked around. Well she had forgotten briefly that the Spearow was a machine. Slowly rising, she then started walking down the pathway. No point in just sitting around and waiting. What could possibly be in here anyway?

Walking down the path, Riku would be faced with a scene of mechanical mayhem. Wires, gears, and a wide variety of other less recognizable parts filled the area around her. It presented quite the sight...as well as quite the opportunity. Although none of them seemed to be one of the essential parts she was looking for, surely she'd be able to remove at least one part safely. An Extra Part stripped right off a still functioning Giant had to be better then something out of a wreck right?

Riku continued to wander when she saw extra parts attached to the inside of the bird. Surprised, she then reached for one and then with a quick yank managed to grab it off where it had been resting. The girl then placed the piece in her pack with the rest. Well it wasn't one of the parts she needed but the head mechanic had said that extra parts would come in handy. She grinned but then thought about her own situation. The girl was trapped within a giant metal bird... Shrugging, she just knew it was time to continue forward. What other things awaited her as she walked down the path.

A harsh metal clank would from behind the girl as one gear slammed into another, the two grinding against one another dangerously. By removing a single part she'd managed to cause what could only lead to trouble in the future. Perhaps she would learn from this; every part she took came with a consequence. If she took too many, the machine was certain to break down...a dangerous notion with her locked inside.
Yet it would seem fate sought to tempt her. Venturing further down the metal path, she'd find herself met with another wide selection of bizarre and intricate parts. There was little telling what each one was actually for, but none of them seemed to be on the list. Extra Parts. She'd be able to take one before the others fall in together; but would she perform such a potentially dangerous act again?

Riku looked at the part that she could've pulled but this time decided not too. The girl had sensed the danger this time if she pulled again. Besides she should save it, in case she ended up finding an important part. She glanced almost wistfully at the piece but shook her head. Nope, it was time to keep moving forward. This pokemon was really huge and the path seemed never ending. What else could possibly be inside the giant bird? Only way to find out was to keep walking. The girl glanced around, trying to stay alert. There couldn't possibly be pokemon in here right?

Well this time, she hadn't run into anything. She didn't see any gears grinding so that she could spot an extra piece in there nor did she find any important parts. The girl wasn't really too worried. Eventually she would come to an end of this place right? It didn't go on forever. But she didn't know how she was going to get out of the bird. It was going to be hard for her to try and climb back out the bird's mouth. Was there a place that she could possibly take apart and then it would end up spitting her out. But it was probably dangerous to just take a lot of pieces. It might cause the bird to stop functioning... What to do...what to do. The girl kept moving forward, thinking as she walked.

Speaking of parts and pieces, the girl would come across what seemed to be the most complicated array of machinery yet! Gears, pistons, motors, wires and more, all loosely connected to another another in a vast jumble. The set up seemed to be built so that it was easy to take apart by hand, but nearly impossible to break otherwise. Again she was presented with a chance at an Extra Part...but would she take it?

Riku continued forward to keep coming to more and more places where she could grab pieces. Glancing at it for a second, she decided to chance taking another piece. After managing to grab it, she placed it in her pack along with the others. She certainly was getting plenty of parts but not the ones she was looking for. On the other hand, it looked like the pathway was about to end. She wondered what was at the end. The girl still needed to figure out a way to get out of the pokemon. It would be dangerous to use any of her pokemon. If she used Sir Aiden instead of his flames piercing through the metal, it might swing back and burn the girl herself.... so that was definitely out of the question. Hm, decisions, decisions. Walking down the pathway, she continued down.

Venturing forward it would seem would come as a bit of a problem for the girl. Suddenly an entire piece of machinery would halt it's movement, two of the connecting gears moving oddly back and forth. Dirt and chips of metal would fall to the floor as the two gears began to vibrate, then of their own accord pull themselves free of the mesh of others.
Turning around as a pair, Riku would quickly discover the gears in fact had eyes, and small mouths shaped in a perpetual O. It was a Pokemon, a Klink which had become part of the birds complex machinery...or perhaps had even been born from it.
Floating into the middle of the path, the Klink would cease to move after...save for it's perpetual spinning of gears. The message was clear; Riku was an intruder, and so she would not pass.

Riku had basically reached the end when she spotted something in the distance. As she came closer, she finally recognized the gears. Of course this kind of pokemon would be around the many gears and such in the machine. It was a Klink. The girl looked at the gears and then sighed. It looked like it wasn't going to let her go any farther so it was up to a battle. There was no point in turning back now. The girl turned to her pokeballs before releasing Sir Aiden. Was a battle really safe to have in this machine especially with a fire type? Oh well, time to figure it out.
Sir Aiden landed on all fours, fur bristling against his back. He wasn't sure what had happened but he spotted the problem almost immediately. There was a pokemon in front of him as he glanced at the steel pokemon and it was blocking the path. It was his guess that he had to get rid of the pokemon. From the look from it's faces, it wouldn't simply step or hover past to let them go. If it was a battle it wanted, it was a battle it would get. The Growlithe's maw opened as flames burst from it. He then raced through the flames until his fur was coated with the fire. Charging forward, he aimed to hit his opponent with Flame Charge!

The Klink's response would be rather simply. Swivelling around, the Steel-Type would turn it's back upon the Growlithe, each gear turning in the opposite direction till it caught the guard rail between it's teeth. The Pokemon was holding on for dear life and bracing for impact.

Sir Aiden had misjudged his opponent. The Growlithe had charged forward and had completely missed. Swerving to the side, one second the Klink had been there the next it hadn't. The pokemon looked a little puzzled as he looked around. There it was! He spotted it biting onto the handrail. A growl erupted from his throat on his own stupidity. How he had managed to miss that was a mystery. Instead he had to focus instead on the Klink's attack. The pure steel pokemon could probably pack a punch of a whack from it could be harsh. The Growlithe began weaving back and forth before darting everywhere. The trick to not getting hit was definitely not to get caught in the first place. Though this might prove to be a problem since they were in a spot that was kind of small.

Releasing the rails, the Klink proceeded to flip forward till it laid flat in the air. Moving toward the Growlithe the twin gears would force themselves a part, one coming out on either side of Sir Aiden. Struggle as they did to get around the canine, the magnetic charge between them would soon force the pair back together, bringing them down upon the Growlithe in a Vicegrip!
