The woman bowed her head, "Of course Captain. I should know better than to question you." She backed out slowly and pulled a gun out to press it to Titania's head as she walked her away. "Let's go."

"No! Wait don-!" Michaels was muffled by a gag around the mouth and restrained as they dragged him away. Luckily, he was genius-class in the engineering department, and he would certainly be able to get out. But Titania, what the hell was he going to do about her?

Titania avoided looking at him. She knew she could free herself from this, but the last thing she wanted was for him to worry. And how the hell was she going to get him back? Luckily those parchments were fake or else this may have been even more of a bust.

---

Farin had stopped reading again for an incoming call and growled as he answered for the unknown caller. "What?"

"Your dear sister will be killed if I don't get what I want." Zane said into the speaker of the device in his hand. "I want money, and lots of it, and she should have some parchment on her ship. I would think it be the only parchment on board, I need those. " He waited for a second to let it sink in. "I also have her male escort and people watching your slave and her friends. If you don't want to lose them all do as I say and bring it all. Building Xer in the storage sector. You have less then an hour. The ones watching your friends, their a little trigger happy. So I'd hurry if I were you." With that said Zane shut off the device and walked off down the ally to the bright open spaces.

Farin knew Titania would be fine, even moreso when he received a text in the middle of the screen that told him not to worry about her. But the man had threatened Cella, and she was his property. "Listen you ********-" He stopped to calm down and sighed, "The parchment left the ship with The Baron Rev'Tavketr two months ago. Not only that, but you threatening me is a terrible idea. It sounds like you can't wait to lose everything you hold dear, my friend."

---

The woman escorting Titania lowered her weapon and handed it, barrel down, to the woman she was forcefully escorting. "Fancy seeing you here, Honey." She pulled another weapon out of her jacket and busied herself loading it. "That boy with you, can he handle himself?"

Titania thanked the woman and did the same to ready her gun. "I don't know. He's a mechanical genius, and I'm not exaggerating. Unfortunately, I don't think he'd be able to hurt anything in his way. We might have to save him. Anyway, did you tell Farin not to worry about me?"

"I'm always four steps ahead of you, little one." She finished with the gun and stepped forward, "Unfortunately, the man's got people all over the city and I'm sure there are some watching your other friends."

"Farin's gonna go crazy. One of those girls is his "slave," who he really has a thing for but won't admit. If he's threatened her, Farin might have to break out his connections, you know how that goes."

"By the way, was that your boyfriend?"

"Is that really what you're going to start right now, Nana? My virginity? Can we try to focus on the fact that your latest assignment is going to turn our brother into the god damned Hulk?"

---

Michaels was left unattended in one of the cells of the ship. People always underestimated him. Luckily, he had a reason to risk being caught. He pulled out a small pen, as they had assumed him nonthreatening. He hadn't been carrying a weapon. His pen however, was his all-purpose engineering tool. The greatest thing he had, well, conceptualized himself. Mostly, he loved the laser. It broke him through the bottom of the cell so he could lower himself into the ship's underbelly and then navigate his way to the engine room. Once in, he could dismantle everything he could get his grimy little engineering hands on. And, of course, when he was done, escape unnoticed through the rest of the bottom.

Zane had a bad feeling. Something was wrong but he couldn't begin to contemplate what it could be. Everything was covered there was no way this could go wrong. Yet he couldn't shake the feeling something wasn't going as he planed. Frowning he tapped his ear piece "Everything alright?" The message went right to the men watching the group in the shopping center.

"Yes sir. I'd hate to be this guy, those girl have him carrying all sorts of s**t." The man said not taking his eyes off his pray.

"Put them out of their misery. Shoot them." He said walking down another street. Thinking next of the girl with the long hair he checked in with her too. "Everything alright?"

~ ~ ~ ~

Rockwell was following close behind the girls. A small shine on a roof top caught his attention. A moment later a zap and burn, took out the stand next to them "s**t! Move!" He said pushing the girls quickly ahead of them as people in the crowd screamed and ran off in all directions.

Chephnem took Cella's hand in one and Rockwell's in the other. "What's going on!?"

"Someone is shoot at us!" He yelled pulling them over to a shelter store front. "s**t." He said as the roof top came under fire. The cover slowly began to dissolve. Moving them back out into the open The crowd pushed and ran and managed to separate the little group.
Rockwell was even more alarmed when he saw the shine again, as the wielder aimed the gun, he followed the line of sight. It was aimed at Cella. Running he jumped and took her down covering her with his own body as the shoot seared into his back. He heard Cella scream under him. Then his world spun to black.

Chephnem ran out into the open and grabbed the unconscious Rockwell and lifted him. She was smaller, but stronger. "Come on Cella!" She yelled straining to keep a good hold on Rockwell.

Cella stood and followed Chephnem all the way over to another building until the lazer fire began to fade.

Nana sighed and responded to the Captain of the other ship promptly, "Everything's under control here, Captain. How's the ship looking?"

Titania meanwhile peered around the corner. She could swear she heard shooting in the distance. That wasn't a good sign. He eyes widened, "Nana, did he really threaten Farin's slave? He doesn't have an army here, he'll go himself! Nana that's dangerous!"

Nana nodded and opened the communication with the man again, "Sir, the girl insists that her brother is highly dangerous and suggests not involving the others."

---

Unfortunately for them it was too late. Farin had pulled out a piece of his own. An Anaxatarian creation, and quite a weapon. It had a long barrel that spun for not only more speed but deadly accuracy. The gun was usually only issued to Anaxatarian military men and women, but there was always one or two on the black market. Farin's gun was fully charged when he took to the town center and swiped the gun across one palm to spin the barrel rapidly. Men were on rooftops firing. Close to the edge, too. Lucky him. He took down three with three quick shots before he spun the barrel again. The manual spin was a safety precaution for the weapon, and every three shots it needed to be started again. It also only responded to the holder's fingerprint on the handle. He heard one of the men that had been shot fall off the roof and quickly scanned the area for another. He hadn't seen any, so finding that blue ******** became his first priority. He approached a man who had fallen from the rooftop. He was still alive, if just barely. Farin put the heel of his boot onto the man's gunshot wound and pressed hard. The man howled in pain, but Farin didn't seem to care. "Where's your p***k of a leader? Huh? Where is he?" Before the man under him answered he heard another man readying his weapon on an opposite rooftop. He quickly spun the barrel again and turned making a shot without even enough time to register who was shooting. Luckily enough it was another sniper, but Farin wasn't being so careful. He reached down and grabbed the man by the shirt with one hand, and ahuled him off into a more secluded location. That would probably be for the best. Then at least no one would have free access to his back.
There he found quite a fun sight. There was Cella and the Princess, and that Beefhead had obviously been shot. "Cella." His voice was still stern but not nearly as angry as it was before. "Are you alright?" He dropped the hold he had on the shooter and reached into his jacket to toss Cella the same bottle of pills that had healed her the previous day. "Give him three. Now, excuse me."
He spun the barrel again, as idleness stilled the barrel, and shoved it into the man's temple as he snatched him up again. "Where's your ******** leader?"

---

Michaels was still booking it from the ship when he happened around the wrong corner and spotted the shady pirate captain from before. "Oh ******** me." He quickly turned and ran the other way as fast has humanly possible until he finally rounded the right corner to find Titania and the woman who was holding her captive. "What's-" he started, more out of breath than he had probably ever been in his life, "going-on?"

Titania ran to his side to look him over, "Are you okay? Damn, did you get out of there by yourself?"

Michaels managed a nod, although he had leaned over to support himself with his hands on his knees. Still panting heavily he added, "Disabled the engine... and ship security...left...saw that blue guy..."

"Nice going kid." Nana laughed. "It's alright, munchkin, I approve of this one."

Michaels pointed up at the woman he didn't know, "You know her too?"

Titania nodded, "This is the last of the Khelors. This is my older sister Nana. She's in the UFA Brigade, the undercover task force. Apparently after the d**k I was trying to get the package from." She shook her head, "Would've worked too, since, Puck has the papers, but apparently his plan was to kidnap me and get Farin to pay for my release all along. I had no idea it was common knowledge we were all related."

"Obviously it's not that common. He didn't know who she was." Michaels managed to stand upright again and had slowed his breathing quite significantly. "But he might be coming this way so, we probably need a plan."

"It's okay." Nana winked, "I had backup with me in the crew, I always do. He's got the b*****d's old lady. He won't hurt us."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 26, 2012 9:31 pm

"I don't think we are going to be getting anything from this." Zane said into the ear piece. "Farin said the papers were already with the Baron. I'm not stupid enough to go and ******** with him myself." He sighed. "I guess I can leave you to dispense of Titanai? She's of no used to us any more. And I'd rather not run the rick of having her on board my ship."
Zane had been originally planning to come after them and see to it that the girl was paid for. But her d**k of a brother wasn't likely to pay. He had more stuff to take care of before they left. Turning down another ally his ear piece cracked on.

"Zane?" A soft female voice said. "Um did you do something you said you weren't going to do any more? Like, oh, i don't know. Get some police mad?"

Wondering what and odd question that was Zane took a moment to answer. "Is there something the matter Rina?"

The connection went dead. Becoming worried, he contacted the people the were supposed to be keeping an eye on her. They reported having had seen her leave the house with a friend. And that she had yet to return. With that his heart dropped, something was wrong.
~ ~ ~ ~

Cella caught the pills in her shaking hands as Cephnem put Rockwell down. "I'm ok thanks to Rockwell Master Farin." She said her voice eerily calm when her stomach was doing back flips from fright.
Unfortunately her hands were shaking bad enough she couldn't get the bottle open. As she fumbled with the lip, she began to cry. "I can't get this stupid bottle open." She sobbed out looking at the blood that had come from her brother.

Chephnem sighed and gently took the bottle from the crying girl's hands. "Here let me have that." Quickly opening the lid Chephnem took out the three pills and screwed back on the lid. "Hold this Cella." She said giving it back so she could have something to focus on and help keep calm.
Rockwell wouldn't wake up and she couldn't just force the pills down his throat. Pulling him up into a sitting position she poped one into his mouth to see what would happen. Luckily the pill began to dissolve. "There we go." She said putting the other two in.

The man who had been shooting laid on the ground. He was unable to get away. "I don't know!" He groaned out. "He doesn't tell us where he goes unless he has business." He coughed up some blood and groaned again. "I just don't know where he is."

Nana sighed and bowed, "If you two will excuse me, I'm going to go grab me a wanted man." She stood and quickly exited in the direction Michaels had come from. She stripped off her jacket along the way and handed it to a bystander who was obviously, when he took it, an undercover agent. She reached up to quickly take down her hair again and saw the man she was looking for. "Hello Captain, miss me?" She approached him slowly, but without any fear. "But, really, you can start using the honorifics. Sergeant, if you don't mind. And, oh, yeah, you're under arrest."

---

Titania smiled weakly at Michaels and shrugged, "Such is my family." She reached over to push a bit of his wavy hair back, "Are you okay, though?"

Michaels scoffed, "Me? Oh yeah. That was nothing! Really. I'm glad you're okay though, and I do feel like s**t, I mean, I couldn't-"

Titania cut him off with a quick kiss before she pulled away with a smile. "I wouldn't get myself into all kinds of trouble if I couldn't handle it on my own. It's not your responsibility to protect me." She reached down for his hand then pulled him along. "Come on, let's go get the others."

---

"Typical." Farin replied as cooly as possible. "Well then, I guess you're of no use to me." He spun the barrel again and aimed the gun at the man's head. "Unless you have anything else to say."
PostPosted: Fri Jan 27, 2012 6:08 pm

Zane turned, his multicolored eyes focusing on his crew mate. "You." He practically hissed. "I didn't believe I could trust you." Stepping back he knew better then to take on someone with authority head on, not without back up at least. The authorities never played fair.
The ear piece clicked back on. "She's missing cap'in!" A crew member huffed clearly having had been running.
"What did you do?!" He asked the women before him, the ear piece staying on so the crew could hear he was in trouble. With in moments he could hear different crew members saying they were on their way. "I find it odd Rina would go missing when you decide to show your true colors."

~ ~ ~ ~

Sitting alone in a room a young women fiddled with the edges of her dress. She was worried and alone, and had no one to comfort her. Lifting the ear communicator up again she tried to get it to turn on, but with no luck. The ship must have some sort of blocker up. If she could find the reception blocker she could disable it.
Being the daughter of a ship designer left her with a lot of technological knowledge. Not that she hardly ever put it to use. Mechanics bored her to death. Sighing Cathrina looked around the room once more. She only wished to know what Zane was doing, or if he had been caught this time. Cathrina had begged him not to stay long, knowing full well people would catch up to him, though she loved him, she would rather him be free.

~ ~ ~ ~

Cella watched as Farin prepared to shoot the man, her mouth dropped open and she turned her head. There was no way she could watch.

"Wait!" The guy held up a hand and lowered it back to his ear, removing the communicator and holding it up. "You can ask him yourself."

Chephnem shook her head. "How trash betrays trash."

Cella looked back to her brother he was pale and not moving. That man had tried to kill him, might have killed him, could have killed Cheph, or herself. "Let the b*****d bleed out and die." She said coldly, thinking if one of them had hit Farin. "He's a piece of s**t, and gets a kick out of hurting other he deserves a death." If they had killed Farin, he life would be over, she couldn't imagine not having him to take care of any more. Let alone if she got resold. If that ever happened, she would likely kill herself.

The man, not far gone enough to find her anger amusing "What a dirty mouth on such a pretty lady." He coughed and sat up. "You'd make a good street whore around here you know?" He added with a smirk.

"Cella." Chephnem said trying to move Rockwell so she could get a hold of slave girl before she did something stupid.

"And let filthy men like you touch me!?" Cella glared before turning up her nose like he was a animal unworthy of her time. "I don't think any of you would be able to afford me."

"Does it matter?" The man asked. "Your a slave."

Nana laughed, "Oh calm down, will you? I'm not going to hurt her. That's against regulations." She sighed, "No, I only needed a way to make you cooperate, and now I have it. You're going to come with me, and behave yourself, and then, she'll be turned free. But we wouldn't be cruel enough to leave her here alone, I'll let you decide where she goes."

---

Farin shrugged, spun the barrel of the gun and pumped the next three bullets through the man's skull. It was certainly justified for him, he had likely killed Rockwell, and then he had the balls to insult Cella in front of him. He put his gun away and turned to Chephnem, "If he's not okay, we should probably get him back to the ship, there's at least better equipment there." He stepped closer, bent over and hoisted the other man onto his shoulders. "Come on, Ladies. Let's get out of here."

"There you losers are." Titania smiled at first upon seeing their friends until she noticed the man over her brother's shoulders. "What happened?"

"Someone was shooting at them." Farin replied, starting off toward the ship. "Care to explain why?"

Titania hurried after her brother, still holding onto Michaels's hand. "Hey! Listen to me, this was Puck's scheme! I didn't think it would get anyone else hurt.": She sighed, "But he should be fine, we have an infirmary on the ship for this."
PostPosted: Sat Jan 28, 2012 4:04 am

His mind raced on what to do. For the first time in his pirating life he thought about turning himself over. Zane couldn't let Rina suffer for him. Love made him a fool. "You'll have to let her go here. Her dad owns a ship building company. He lives here and she lives here with him. He has no idea of our relationship, you guys must keep it that way." He said taking a few steps closer to her reach. "If he knew of me and her, she'd suffer, if that happens you have no deal and I'll kill everyone on your ******** ship."
~ ~ ~ ~

Cella stayed close to Farin and her brother. At least when he was picked up had made a groaning noise. "Are you sure he'll be ok?"

Chephnem, though worried for Rockwell, tried not to let it show. "I'm sure he'll be fine. The big idiot will wake up, probably have a new scare, and show it off all the time saying he got into a gun fight and that he was the one that won."

"I hope you are right." Cella mumbled to herself. How could such a simple adventure gone so horribly wrong, she wondered. Clearly she shouldn't have left Farin's side for such a long time. The man had been aiming for her. If she hadn't been out there then her brother never would have ended up getting hit. Guilt became her strongest emotion, and she was forced to rub the tears from her face.

"Right, right, okay." Nana waved a hand dismissively. "Maybe you would've been alright for a while if you hadn't started s**t with my family." She shrugged and pulled out her handcuffs then hooked the man before pushing him forward. "Let's go. When you're in my ship, I'll give the order to let her go. Maybe if you're well behaved for the Brigade, they'll let you have visitors in a few years."

---

"What's wrong Cella?" Farin certainly didn't have to look at Cella to know when she was upset. "Please calm down, you're only going to get sick if you get upset."

Titania got in front of her brother as they boarded the ship and directed him to the recovery room. The man had already made a bit of noise, that had to be a good sign, right? She went for a shelf with a first aid kit on it and pulled the small metal box out. "Here, if nothing else we can patch him up while those pills take effect."

Farin lowered the man onto one of the beds and cracked his neck either way as he turned back to his sister. "You want to let one of the girls take care of this, and you can get us out of here?"

"Nana's here, just an FYI." Titania informed her brother as she passed him on her way out of the room. Before she could get away, however, he snagged her.

"Want to run that by me again?"

"The guy Pucky wanted the trade with? Nana's been after him for a while. She finally got him, I think, so she won't be around for long. Just thought you'd like to know."

"She spoke to you?"

"She got me out of trouble. Just another something for her to hold above my head. Whatever." Titania left the room for the Bridge so she could get them off of this miserable planet.

Michaels followed, "I should probably make sure the ship's vitals are okay..."

"Sure. Okay." Farin rolled his eyes as the younger man ran out.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 28, 2012 3:07 pm

Zane shrugged her hand off. "I want to see her before you let her go." He knew he wasn't exactly in the position to be making demands, but he wanted to see her again. Make sure she was alright. "I don't believe you about her being safe." His mind was racing, no way in hell was he going to be stuck in jail, his crew would get him out, even among so many traitors he had some loyal men.
~ ~ ~ ~

[colo=deeppink] Cella rubbed her hands across her eyes as tear kept falling. "I'm fine Master Farin."

Chephnem sighed and took up the first aid ket and began pulling wraps out. Walking over to the still form of Rockwell she cut his shirt open and began patching him up. Every now and then he would make some sort of audible protest of pain.

"He doesn't look good." Cella said sitting on the floor, back against the wall. "It's all my fault." She pulled her knees to her chest and hid her face.

Nana laughed, if he had been facing her, it would've been in his face. "No. I don't think you've got any right to make a last request of me, do you? Maybe if I was going to execute you on the spot. By the way, until you're not my problem anymore, someone will be with her. If you attempt an escape, or manage one somehow she'll be killed. Understood? Now, continue to move. You can see her in hell after a life sentence or two."

---

Farin shook his head, "No it's not. Stop crying, it's unbecoming, Cella."

---

Titania and Michaels got the ship started up and headed for their course once more within a few minutes. Michaels spoke first, "You think he'll be okay?"

Titania nodded, she then sighed, "It's never fun to wait until one of them heals, but he'll pull through for sure."
PostPosted: Sat Jan 28, 2012 4:03 pm

"Too bad hell was destroyed with your planet." Zane said with an angry scowl. He would have to be good. Keep his men from getting out of hand. "Mark my words. If she has so much of a hair out of place. I will hunt you and everyone of your crew down and kill you." The thought of her being hurt was enough to make his blood boil over.
~ ~ ~ ~

Cella looked up. "I'm sorry Master Farin." She took a few deep breaths and tried to calm. It took some real effort but she began to recompose herself.

"There." Chephnem said looking at her handy work. "He's all taken care of. Farin, why don't you take Cella to bed for a bit? Have her to calm down. Sitting here and waiting for him to wake up won't do any good."

"Ooh." Nana started sarcastically, "I'm shaking in my military-grade Torrin Catori Stilettos." She pushed at his back, "Keep going, b***h. Walk." She got him to a small base for the Brigade and walked him in to a bar-like scene where the whole crew had been only a few days before. She brought him to a door on the side where a man spoke:

"Where do you hail from, Travellers?"

"A Tavern just south of Tatakin Turk." Nana replied. The man stepped out of the way and she walked him toward the back where there was an elevator that she pushed him into. A man then hit the bottom level button, and they rode it into a laboratory-like setting.

---

Farin sighed, "Come on, Cella. I'll read you a story." He nodded toward the door and started out, knwoing she would catch up.

As he left, Michaels entered quietly. He stepped to Chephnem's side and looked at the man in the bed with her, "So, you think he'll be okay, right?"
