In all honesty, Gene had no jacking clue what was even happening. She remembered hiding behind a tiger like thing, asking to mount him, and then getting hit with a massive pine cone, everything going dark and fuzzy afterwards. Somehow, she ended up in the parking lot, looking around with doe eyes, before suddenly, there was fire.
Fire?
Fire.
FIRE!
Now, she didn't have a phobia of fire like many of the Undead students, but she certainly wasn't a Fire Demon. Two things she knew about fire. One, it sucked getting burnt. Two, it wasn't supposed to be blue.
So, she ran, following the crowd.

Thankfully Julie had managed to retrieve her weapon before the signal for retreat, though what she was doing in between that period of time and Caelius's nice long ending speech about something something dramatic was left entirely up to the general imagination.
That is, she managed to retreat, run a fair pace behind, every single article in her apron jingling as she moved rather gracefully, not tripping like Clarice - tsk tsk Clarice, tsk tsk - and do a pretty good job of avoiding things in general-
- until the glitter bomb hit her right in the back of her head. Julie simply stopped, one hand slowly reaching for the back of her head, heart beating as she pulled her hand forward-
- and saw the glitter, in thick streaks, running down her hand. Glitter. On. Her Hand. Everywhere. Glitter that was distinctly pink and not even classy enough to be red or green or red and green or anything festive.
"You didn't." She hissed, as she saw the perpetrator, her archnemesis, the pink-garbed thing. Oh she was pissed, oh she would probably need some counseling or therapy after this was all done and over with, oh my god the pink glitter was all on her, no focus Julie, focus.
It was time for the big guns, and the Moon Hunter pulled out a rolling pin from her apron, aimed very very quietly and carefully and threw it right at the thing's head. Revenge had never been so sweet, it was a pity that some Hunter had finally grabbed her and told her to keep on moving.

It was probably a really comical sight, watching Arel drag Eris by her skirt. The heir was completely limp as the ice demon moved her away from the flames, the imprint of her body trailing behind her in the snow. When he was far enough from the flames to be comfortable and the ice demon set to work, she stayed completely still through the process, until consciousness slowly started to seep into her body again. Surprisingly, the ice that had begun to encase her wounds felt good against the burns, soothing in a way that reminded her a little of the phoenix fire she herself used, except better. She never thought she'd ever admit that she liked the cold, but right then, at that moment, she could have laid there in the snow for a thousand years and have been content.
Stirring a little just as Arel finished, Eris slid her eyes open slowly, her eyes taking a moment to focus before rolling around to stare at the ice demon. Glancing down at the ice binding the worst of her burns, she grinned a little, starting to sit up.
"Aw, you do care~" she teased a little, leaning forward to kiss his forehead. Then, as if remembering that they had been in the middle of a heated battle, she snapped her attention back to the blue flames, her grin melting into a dark scowl. "... did they get away?"

The bow was summoned, as were several dark and ominous looking projectiles - not arrows, persay, but they looked more like pieces of stone, or debris - possibly even corrupted marble.
And like a champ, even when Invictus sent them all flying at Caelius's back, they just..missed... entirely. They didn't even hit Shehk who was trying to bite his heels off, his aim was that bad. Invictus actually grit his teeth in frustration.
NO.
IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY.
And then he muttered curses in languages so dead, many probably hadn't even heard of them.
HP: 30/60 Status: Pach just realized he could attack. WILL YOU MISS? Damage: MISSED LIKE A CHAMP Target: It -was- Caelius, but with this amount of Fail, Invi needs therapy.

((enter!))
...Wait a sec, this wasn't the way back to the jacking 'nak nak' tree! Did she take a wrong turn somewhere?
AND WHY WAS EVERYTHING ON FIRE!?
Sure, she was no undead, but she still burned pretty easily. Not to mention that the fire wa blue, and it wasn't so much as burning as it was making everything corrode in a weird way. What kind of fire was this?
Poke was unable to answer these questions, as self preservation was her top priority at the moment. In the distance she could see figures duking it out with each other, but as to who they are or why they were fighting, she couldn't say. There was no way she could reach them now, her injuries preventing her from getting closer.
For now, she made a mad dash, or in her case, a fast shamble, back to the maul.
((Poke is...retreating! And making a exit))

Retreating
Malkav twitched uncontrollably for several minutes as he stared into the fire, eyes growing so wide, he was sure they would escape him or eat himself whole. He barely noticed the ones coming out of the fire. It was like noticing ants on the ground while facing a scorpion. The fire terrified him and this was a new emotion for him. He had never seen anything so threatening yet beautiful at the same time.
Fire Bad, came a whisper so faint he wasn't sure he had even heard it. Run, run away, Malkav.
"No, I don't want to," he shooed at the voice wanting it to go away. He wanted to stay in this moment forever. He wanted to get closer, to touch it. Oh, just to touch it!
The Red Fear, another voice whispered loudly as it tugged on the corners of his mind. It felt as if someone was tugging on his hair. It didn't hurt but it was annoying. Run! Save us! Do not let us dieeeeeee! It was begging him to turn and run but still he could not.
"An apt name," the vampire replied and this time he did take a step toward the fire. "Am I afraid? I think I am, quite madly afraid. I like it."
Rötschreck, a voice stated sharply. It was a feminine voice and something about it made him stop. Where did he know it from? You must listen to me to me, my beloved. Close your eyes and think of the moon. All the other voices had hushed up when she spoke, as if they were urging him to concentrate. His eyes closed and in the darkness behind them he saw a beautiful and full moon. The call of the fire ebbed away and he felt a calm take over him.
A slow smile took over his face. It was a malicious smile, a mad smile, perhaps even a slightly happy smile. He dared not risk another glance at the fire as the flame's spell was a strong one. Instead, the boil turned and transformed into a flock of bats. Each bat was black as coal except one. It was smaller than the others and appeared to be a shade of soft pink. Together they took flight, daring to put as much distance between them and the fire they could.

"Your words--"
The remnants of her line would forever be unsaid, Clarice's large sword silencing the heiress of Death, sealing her words in a steady streaming wound in her back. It sliced with a vengeance, that left her down on her last breath. Aisa's form collapsed under the sword, stopping and freezing, her cheek against the ground. The doctor's words rang uncomfortably through her ears, scraping at the last bits of her consciousness, worming into her fading one.
She could see Connie in the distance, chasing after Caelius, along with several other trick-or-treaters, staff and students alike. She didn't hear Arel or Eris's sweet voice, slumping against her scythe, the weapon acting as a support for the rapidly injured Aisa. Bleeding like there was no tomorrow, the pursuit was regrettably left to the few that could keep up.
"Bloody hell."

"Aisa..."
A flicker of purple and dark red caught the corner of her eye, pitch black contrasting with the white snow enough to drag her attention away from the azure blaze. From where she was, she couldn't see what the Doctor said -- all she saw was a flash of dark steel and pink scarf, the long blade slicing through the fire to cut down the Heir of Death. Eris' eyes blew wide in horror, watching the scene for half a second, frozen for half a second, until suddenly she found herself moving, unbidden. Aisa fell as Eris was scrambling up in the snow, clawing at it to get some momentum as she crossed the quickly dying battlefield. She arrived at her kin's side half a second too late, skidding to her knees in the snow to scoop up the heir of Death, one arm sliding behind her back to support her. The other slipped forward to cradle her face, her burned palms cupping Aisa's stark white cheek as she held her close, her own head dipping down to try to meet the other horsewoman's eyes, forehead brushing Death's as she looked her over.
"Death, honey you listen to me.... sonofab***h I'll kill that doctor and his whore, cute blush or not... hold still sweetie, ok?"
Closing her eyes, Eris took a slow, steady breath, holding it for a moment before exhaling, purposely slowing her heartbeat. She followed it with another, and another, each slower than the last, until her heart was nothing above a slow, pulsing drum. Fire like a peaceful candle languidly swirled around her arms, down her fingers to where they touched Aisa's cheek and side, gentle ribbons of orange light wrapping gently around her body, the soft flicker of warm flames licking at the heir's wounds.
Except nothing was happening. Snapping open her eyes, she flicked them back and forth for a second before focusing them on the blue flames, murder in her eyes. Arching her back, wings outstretched, she hissed viciously at the Masterhunter and his charge, her lips pulled back over her teeth. Setting Aisa down gently, War's heir slowly got to her feet, tension building like a raging inferno to leave the air around her scalding. Fingers curling into hateful claws, she lunged at the hunters, disregarding the blue flames entirely, hell bent on tearing out their throats.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Eris move, turning his head to see as to why it was - it was almost ironic how all four had said that they expected the others to take care of themselves, and then in an opportunity to prove such a thought, they still rushed to each other to make sure everything was alright.
Which was exactly what Conquest did, turning his attention from the Master Hunter to go and join Eris at Aisa's side, only to see that Eris had attempted some manner of healing, and then turned entirely wrathful, suddenly lunging in the direction that their enemies had gone running in.
In an almost uncharacteristic move, Invictus actually moved to grab Eris around the waist to hold onto her, pulling her back. If there was any muscle on the horseman's body (and there was underneath all of that well-dressedness), it was because of these sorts of tasks, and not a work out against destroying his enemies. It was more important to keep the ranks of the four in tact, and letting Eris go off on a rampage - while it would be beautiful to watch and he'd absolutely love it - was not going to benefit them in any which way now.
Even as he pulled her back, he carefully gathered her wings into his hold, to keep her from going off flying with him attached to her, as he didn't doubt she had the capability to do such a thing.
"Eris. My darling, this time we have more important things to take care of than wringing their necks." He spoke softly, affectionately even, one arm moving to wrap around the horsewoman's shoulders to use his own body as a bar to keep her from actually flying away after The Master Hunter and The Master Baiter, H.
