3.. super-heavy...tanks... i sure hope you're gonna be fighting either an A)horde army, or B) an armoured company....
it's a tank battle. As in a world record attempt. If it has an armor value, stick it on the table.


Perfect weapon against Titans; Bright Lances. You only need a +4 to penetrate regardless of armour valur. Take that Bane Blade.
The problem is, you first have to take down 2 shields (which count as armor 12 in the first plase, sadly... weak shield!) and then 3 structure points at least - you never know if the titan or super-heavy tank will get lucky and control the damage.


True, but it isa little difficult when it is facing 3 war walkers with 6 brightlances backed up by a Farseer casting Guide.


Or over 20 Dark Lances. Same thing as A bright lance, just for DE instead. Really mean, when you can take out A Titan in one turn.
yeah, super-heavys are a big loss against such weapons. But they really rely on their fields holding out. Although, they DO become fire magnets.


True, but for their points cost, what is the benefit? You are better taking two Land Raiders, and using them for fire Magnets. As it is, with the cost being so restrictive on Titans, it is A rather large point sink for A Fire Magnet.
The idea is no one would be beardy enough to bring that many weapons along... And of course, the super-heavy damage tables are totally different to the damage tables to other vehicles.. makes it tougher to destroy.


If you want a fire magnet, for 75 or 85 points (I forget which) will get an avatar, +5 pluss invulerable, monstrous creature, counts a deamon Or 120 will get you a wraithlord with a starcannon. Though the lord will be a better magnet.

I saw the E spot trailor to Winter Assault. It looks awsome, the only new race is the Imperial Guard. And they only included the Baneblade, they say it has 12 guns on it so it's a basically a mobile fortress and the Chimera can hold three squads that can shoot out of it as well. Sentinals can uncapture points to cripple the economy of the enemy, since hte imperial guard is a defensive army. Basically with Imps you sit back build up and army and then when you have alot of men march them and conquer. From what I have seen the Orgryns are pretty much your only good assualt unit. Sanctioned Psykers are also in it as well as Commisars and the other officers.

Nope they promised the fall, so I cant wait to use the Angry flashlights to blind chaos. By the way wrong link that lead to the game...my bad. But it is there on that site.

All I want is for the game to be ******** balanced. Online I was in the top 100 for DoW for quite awhile on a smurph account but when 1.3 came out I quit due to the fact that now it's all Eldar.

Yup, that seems to be the case. I myself have never lost to the Eldar, even on the hardest difficulty. TURRETS RULE!!!!!

Alright, I will. When I can get it to run properly on this machine. It never seems to want to though. As it is, trust me, they are not noob tactyics. Not when 3/4 of them are missile turrets. And I have never lost more than 5 in A game yet.
