"..............Ah."
It was Snyder's pathetic attempt at screaming, only to have it strangled off by sheer terror. Fire? Fire? Fire! Don't tell him that this living deathtrap was his teacher! Of course, this creature just had to confirm it. Maybe he should scram before he was burnt to crisps It was already a close enough call that he was by the window when she? had entered. Thank goodness he wasn't by the door, or he would have already been long gone. Yes! That was a wonderful idea.
As he...she? he didn't care anymore! He just wanted out! was distracted with clothes, Snyder cautiously inched his way for the door.
(( LOL. No prob, but I think Zhori ended up traumatizing Snyder. ;D ))

Zhori
Throwing on the rest of her clothes and fluffing her hair, Zhori stepped out from behind the screen and went to slip on a pair of nearby sandals. That was when she noticed her student was trying to initiate some sort of very, very slow escape plan.
Ha! Not on her watch!
She darted across the room and made a sort of flying-leap for the door, slamming it shut. She hit the ground pretty hard, but just quickly scooted in front of the door, blocking it from being opened.
"I hope you weren't planning on going anywhere," she told him. "After all, class hasn't even started yet!" Take that! No one skipped out on her classes. Especially not when she was right there to stop them!
((LoL. I know. I thought about that while posting but she insisted she had to do it. Poor guy.))

If there was one expression that Snyder had officially mastered, it would have been fear, especially when his heart nearly leaped out of his throat from the sudden surprise appearance of his teacher. How was he supposed to escape now when she had cut off his only route. Wait, there was always the window right? He couldn't. Not yet anyway. With him being the only student, this woman would be keeping his eyes on him.
Snyder just needed a distraction. Oh, right! ".... I'm sorry about that. As an apology, would you like some chocolate soufflé? I can't eat them myself, and it'd be a waste if I kept them to myself."

Zhori Zhori stood and brushed herself off, surprised when he offered her a souffle bribe. But still, chocolate! "I accept," she said, grinning. Awww...he....she....was so cute! She could just pinch those little cheeks.
"So what's your name Mr. Escapee?" She decided it was easier to call him a boy. If it was really a girl, well, she'd make up an excuse. "I'm Zhori--the music teacher and somehow you're my only student today." Oh wait, the door was blocked. She stepped away and peeked outside incase any reticent students were lurking about out there. Nope. Not one.

Maybe there'd be no need for a getaway plan if he got on Zhori's good side? Yes, that sounded much better than jumping out a window and onto who knows what.
"....I'm Snyder Couture, and I'm not a Mr." He remarked as he grabbed the dessert to offer as tribute. He had to constantly remind himself not to run. After all, that might enrage her and cause him to catch on fire, and that wouldn't be good. At all.

Zhori "Oh...Ms?" Zhori offered. Because Snyder did not sound like a girl's name at all. And he didn't really have much in the way of a bosom. So that was just awkward. But that didn't stop her from asking clarification.
"Well, anyway, it doesn't matter. So you're my only student. Wow. Small class. Maybe everyone else was sick. Anyway, tell me about your musical interests, Snyder. In this class, everyone gets to focus on a specialty so I need to know what it is you're going to want to focus on and what your level of skill is as music. It'll help me personalize your lessons going forward."

Snyder shook his head. "It's neither." Why couldn't people just go by actual names instead of adding 'Mr.' or 'Ms.'? It just seemed unnecessary.
"This would be the first time that I've ever tried anything like this, so I wouldn't know. I thought that this class could help me express myself better." Snyder shrugged off, unable to really help this music teacher when he didn't know much about music in itself. "If it helps, I think I wouldn't prefer singing. It would not be my strong suit, nor would any wind instruments as well."

Zhori
"Perhaps a percussionist," Zhori said, narrowing her eyes at the boy-girl student. She took Snyder by the arm and led him to a collection of instruments toward the back of the room. There were some elaborate set ups with drums and chimes and various types of marimbas. "Anything here speak to you?" she asked. "Music is a fabulous way to express yourself. If you have a good sense of rhythm then one of these is probably going to be perfect for you."
"I can help you learn to play, even if you have no experience with it."

Zhori Zhori was in class waiting for people to show up. She was hoping she got a lot of fun little budding musicians to guide and fawn over. Today she was going to let those who had picked a specialty do free work, and those that had no specialty or experience, she would be working with them to help choose something. Hopefully it went better than her last class, which had all of one student in it...

~Isamu Korino~"My life is a Shakespearian tragedy"
Isamu walked into the music room and took a seat by himself. He then pulled out some music paper and began writing on it. He was writing some notes down. In fact, he was writing his own music. Considering he was one of the few people there he didn't figure that class would be starting anytime soon. He sighed quietly too himself and swished his long black tail. He still felt a bit down, because he hadn't really been making any friends. He also thought about Suzanne a lot and how much of a cruel person she was.

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki entered the music room and found that there was another boy in the classroom. She was too far away to tell what he was. If he turned out to be some kind of demon, Misaki wouldn't be too happy about being in the same room with him. She wasn't sure how long she would have to wait until other students would show up or at least someone that she knows...
Misaki took a seat and just decided to wait and hope that the kid in the classroom was not a demon. ______________________________

”Why was man created on the last day? So that he can be told, When pride possesses him: God created the gnat before thee.” - The Talmud
While music was most definitely one of the easiest subjects that Aerin had taken, she still dreaded it. It was simple. She disliked being ridiculed by her lack of talent in that area. It wasn't her fault that she was brought up to be a warrior instead of a dainty healer. Then again, even her former comrades were able to hit notes better than she could. As she entered the room, Aerin withheld a scowl of distaste when she caught sight of a tail protruding from a boy. Obviously that scum wasn't human, but then again, she disliked humans too.
"Oh! Hello there, Misaki." She chirped out as soon as she took note of the girl, already taking a seat beside Misaki before dropping her voice down a few notches. "So, have either you or Angela made any progress with your... research?"

Isamu's ears twitched backwards as the followed the sound of two more students entering the room. He listened to their steps for a few moments before his left ear went forward again, the other one staying back. This way Isamu could listen to several things at once. Even though there were two girls and a teacher in the classroom he went back to writing his music once again.

Zhori
"Hello! Come in everyone! Er...all two of you. Everyone else needs to get here, but refresh my memory. Have the two of you picked a musical specialty yet? And how much experience does each of you have?" She looked at Misaki, for a moment, narrowing her eyes. "Actually, I recall you don't have any musical training at all yet?"
She remembered the white haired child's out of tun warble and wondered if it might be best to just encourage her toward an instrument instead. But she'd address that later. And privately since the girl seemed to get a bit sulky last time.

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki smiled at the sight of Aerin. She asked about the stalking mission and answered with a hushed voice. "We made some. We figured that Professor Novaire is friends with the school counselor. Angela might have more information, but we'll just have to listen to what she has to say during free time." Misaki answered.
She glanced up and realized Zhori was already saying something about picking a specialty. Misaki tried not to grimace since she was pretty sure her hands could never multitask enough to do an instrument unless it was the triangle but her timing isn't all that great either. All her hands were good for were for hacking and slashing.
"Erm... I could have an attempt at singing. I can't imagine myself bothering to carry around an instrument and I did have some experience in singing... um... when I was like..." Misaki's voice trailed off as she tried to recall when she had last sung. "I think I was six when I last sang. My mom was teaching me folk songs from our country." Misaki answered finally.______________________________
