✹Camrion Sol✹ Looking up as another entered the door, the blonde recognized the woman as one of Cam's friends. It wasn't that hard to tell, people that age and who had an air of something like glamour, were always Cam's friends. It seemed that he was dragging more and more people to the shady bar. That, or it had been the first place to serve alcohol the girl had found. She reached below the bar to the icebox, pulling out a beer from within. Flicking off the bottle cap with one finger, she placed the open beer before the girl as the bottle cap hit the lower back counter where Asta worked with a light tinkling noise. Taking the empty steak plate from in front of her friend, she places it in the kitchen window and moves down the bar to leave the sometimes couple alone.
Cam did not look up as the door opened, quietly finishing the steak that had been forced upon him. It was good steak, but he was disgusted with himself for eating so much. The small bowl of fries was pointed at by his bartending friend, and he obediently picked one up and bit it in half. It wasn't until Tabby spoke that he finally looked up, his expression tired and mildly surprised. A tired smile appeared at her question, and he gave a short nod. "You could say that." he agreed, tossing the other half of the fry in his mouth. "What could drive a lovely lady like you to a bar so early in the day?" he questioned, wondering what was wrong. The image of the tabloid, the one announcing her daughter as a princess, flashed through his mind.

Tabby took a good first drink of the beer. She was going to need another and she knew it. "Well my a--" she stopped herself from completing the word. "My idiot ex-boyfriend who just happened to be the father of my daughter." She answered him. "That and Yvette is with him so I get to drink while she's gone." The model added. She chuckled cruelly. "One day I'll turn him into a toad." The woman told Cam her plans for her no good ex. "And you?"

Cause There's A Side To You
Nodding to show that he understood, he took a sip of his non-alcoholic drink. "I saw a magazine saying she's a princess. I was shocked." he paused, glancing at her face to gauge her reaction. "I have no idea how a street rat like me knows so much royalty. I just don't get it." he chuckled, shaking his head. Leaning back and away from the bar, rocking back on his stool. "My brother's girlfriend is pregnant. I didn't like the way she handled it. She just sort of shoved marriage at him without even telling him about the baby." he looked again at Tabby, allowing his stool to fall back on it's four legs and snatching up another fry. "But they're sorting it out. I'm sure they'll get hitched, but I'm just hoping that's what he actually wants." he tossed the fry into his mouth whole, pushing the small bowl of them in Tabby's direction offering to share. "He'd support the kid no matter what, I know, but they haven't been dating long and I worry. They get along well enough, and the girl seems nice enough, even if she is a bit lacking in the social skills." he shrugged, glancing down the bar at Asta, knowing she was listening.

Tabby listened to what Cam had to say. She kind of understood what both sides were going after. "I can't make a good judgement, I wasn't there and I don't think it's my business." She first stated. Whatever she said was just an opinion. "I be she was scared." She said in a soft voice. She was reflecting on her own pass. "I feel stupid, a whore, and an idiot. Will he leave me? Will my family abandon me? How will I live? What about this life inside of me? Does anyone care?" She stated some of the things that happened to her and her thoughts when she became pregnant. "I think what she really just wanted was to know that she wasn't alone. A unplanned pregnancy could drive a person into depression because they start to worry. I wasn't as lucky as your brother's girlfriend." She pointed out what had happened to her with Yvette. "I found out he was cheating on me and didn't tell him about Yvette. They didn't meet till she was two and then told reminded me that I had no status and that because Yvette was his daughter that she was the heir to the throne. I didn't want Yvette to leave too. The other girl is lucky to have both of you."

Feeling even worse as she went on, he looked down into the lovely colors of his drink. "I suppose you're right." he sighed, lifting his head to look at her. "I overreacted, I know that. But I had a pregnant girlfriend once too. It's just that the kid wasn't mine." not only did the baby not have his red hair, it had also clearly been half black. "I was thinking about the past and not the present. But I still think she could have handled it better. Actually told him or something first." he tossed another fry in his mouth, reaching up to comb his bangs from his face in the exact manner his brother did. "I'm sure it will work out eventually. Being a prince and all, he'll have to get married eventually. Which means he'll eventually have more kids and, hopefully, a boy. Don't crowns and all that nonsense usually pass down the male line if possible?" he wasn't sure, but he had assumed that was how it worked with most kingdoms. He knew of one where it didn't matter, but that was a different type of royalty entirely.

Tabby was kind of hurt by the words that came out of his mouth, not because they impossible, but because they already happened. "He's already married." She informed him. "I don't want him to have anymore children because I want Yvette to be a constant reminder of the pain he caused me. Which means that she will be free to become queen if she wants to." The woman answered before finishing off her first drink. She ordered another drink. "It doesn't always pass to a male heir. Usually with European royalty it's based on first born rights." She added.

Nodding to accept this information, he wasn't that surprised. He was surprised, however, at the bitter words that came from her mouth. Well, that wasn't a halfway decent thing to say, but he wasn't about to say that. Asta appeared before him, opening another beer and setting it before Tabby. She made a pointed glance at the fries, and Cam obediently picked up another and ate it. He was eating them, he was just eating slowly. He shrugged at the fact on royalty. "The things I know about royalty I learned from story books and a Sylph. Their system is a weird one." he commented, wondering if Tabby would know who he was talking about. It was possible, as she had been at Reed's as the same time as the Sylphid princess, but it was still a pretty big school. "So I'm not exactly an expert on royalty, even if I do know some royals." it wasn't as if they really talked about royalty when they were together, and he didn't really care enough to ask. They were his friends in his mind, not princesses or queens. "Anyway, sounds like a sucky situation with your ex. Those always seem to cause trouble." his own ex, the one that had been pregnant, had tried to contact him multiple times since he had become famous. He ignored her, however, as he knew all she wanted was money.

"With all the sucky emotions." She added about it being a sucky situation. "I want to forget about him and find a guy who would just make him jealous and me forget about him." The woman commented as she started her second beer. "No guy can make be scream out their name anyways." It was clear that there were early signs of Tabby being a light weight. Then again She was a model and models had to stay small.

Listening to her speak, he smirked in response to her words about crying out names. Unlike his brother, he hadn't slept with anyone in quite a while. "At least you know what you want." he pointed out, taking a sip of his drink. He chose not to comment on guys making her scream, though he was tempted to throw in a 'me too'; he liked boys too, after all. Now that he was calming down, he was more disappointed in the lack of alcohol. Maybe Asta would actually put rum in the next one. "At this rate, the closest thing I'll ever get to a spouse is my bass." he joked, casting her a wink. That, or the pretty blonde bartender who was his closest female friend besides Cy, but also the most oblivious to those sort of things he had ever met.

Tabby laughed. She could understand being married to ones own work. The woman reached into her purse and pulled out something before slipping it onto her hand. "Well I'm married to a beautiful girl named Yvette Leni Kent." She pulled her hand up to reveal a plastic butterfly ring. "I can't marry anyone who isn't married to her too." She added with pride.

Looking over curiously as she reached into her purse, he flashed a grin at the little plastic ring. "Oh, is that so?" he asked curiously, looking at the little plastic ring like it was a diamond. "You're a very lucky lady." he smiled, one finger tracing the rim of his glass. He looked almost envious that she had someone so close when he had only been drifting away from his brothers, and his bandmates seemed so involved with their significant others that he felt a bit left out there too. He'd been sleeping in the park or hiding out in the recording studio and sleeping on the couches, doing a very good job of hiding out from his family and friends; for whatever reason, he'd been fairly depressed recently, which only stressed him out further. "Any man would be lucky to marry the lovely Kents."

Tabby gave a soft smile at Adney's words. "Who ever I end up with better be lucky. Think of it 'hot model wife'." The woman pointed out. "I dream about one day having a huge family. Yvette is only the first of at least five. I'm thinking eight though." The woman said as if it was a challenge to find a man who wanted that many kids. She kind of laughed before she settled down a bit. "But who wants to have that many kids no an a days. I feel so old fashion and to be truthful I don't want to marry a monster husband. I want to marry a human one."

Laughing openly at her comment about being a hot model wife, his gave a nod of agreement. "And I'd be a sexy rock star husband." not that he wanted to be a trophy husband, but it was certainly possible. His eyes widened slightly at the number of kids, raising his glass and taking a drink to hide his surprised expression. "Now that is a family." he commented, though it was mostly to himself. Leaning back on his stool, he considered the merits of humans and monsters. "I wouldn't mind a monster husband. Or a human one." he commented, mulling it over. "Or a wife." he added, flashing a grin. He wasn't picky about gender. "But a human, eh? A magical human or a normal one?" it was a legitimate question, and he wondered which sort of the veil that she wanted to be on.

Tabby had already known about Haiki and Cam being lovers. It wouldn't surprise her at all. Haiki of course then let her flirt with Cam too. "I think a magical one." She answered him. "Unless he comes from a family of witches and wizard and just doesn't have powers. I can't image getting along with a normal human all together." She answered him. Most witches and wizards couldn't go home after finding their true selves in this side of the Veil. A lot of them are disowned anyways.

He nodded, showing he understood where she was coming from on that. He really couldn't see himself marrying a normal human, knowing that it might not work out well with the secrecy. The bass player agreed on the part of a nonmagical human coming from a magical family, though, as then they would at least be aware of the veil. "I think a completely nonmagical human would be a bit inconvenient. I'd greatly prefer someone who is at least aware of the Veil." much less complicated that way, after all. He couldn't possibly hide his family and his powers from someone he was supposed to marry.
