Tsukino wasn't helping out with any of this. When the food came, Kenta used it to stall for more time. Grabbing the sake he took a big sip of it. "Well you see...I was thinking that....uhhhh....when we got back to the village......we could....uhhhh...talk to the Hokage....about seeing if he would let us form a.....team.....together.....yeah...." He gave a nervous laugh and played with the food that was in his bowl a little bit waiting to here what her answer was.

Tsukino cracked up laughing as he asked the question. She thought he was about to tell her he was dying or something with the way he was shaking."Well, sure Im cool with that. That wasnt so hard to ask now was it?" She said with another laugh. She began eating her salad and savored its flavors. She then took a small sip of her tea before looking back at Kenta. "We need a third member though.Anyone you have in mind?" She said before eating some more.

Kenta laughed a little trying to play it off. "Well I'm not use to asking people for stuff.......I had a rough time growing up." He listen to what she had to say and thought for a minute. It was true that they would probably need a third person unless the Hokage allowed a two man team. He tried to think about who would be good. If his friend was a still around, he would have made a good addition to the team, but he wasn't. "Not really. I don't know or at least some remember most of the genin in the village. We can always ask the Hokage if he knows of anyone or if he will allow a two man team for now." Kenta nodded as he started to eat his food.

Tsukino nodded in agreement with Kenta, She began eating more of her delicious salad as more people entered the resturant. She began pondering some of the genin who had showed up at the competition. Some of them would be good to have as allies, and then there were also some she knew of in the village who would also be great for a team. Almost all the genin back in the village were looking for a squad, since you had to ask for the most part. They weren't just assigned squads anymore unless they were being punished or it was for just one mission.
"How about that one kid Hayashi who we met during the first phase of the exam?" She inquired.

Eating his food, Kenta tried to remember if he had met anyone. Honestly he couldn't really remember meeting anyone from the village other then the Jonin and the chick they fought. After trying to think about it, he couldn't remember and shook his head. "I'm sorry. I just don't remember meeting anyone by that name here. Maybe you met them and just thought I was there." He gave a small laugh thinking about it.

Tsukino shrugged. "I guess...I swear you were there though." She said confused. She finished her salad before sipping her tea that had finally cooled off. She was getting bored waiting around for the next set of events and then again she wasnt guaranteed a extra round to get to the finals. "So when should we or can we leave this place?"

Finishing off his food, Kenta laughed a little. He could have forgotten but who knew. Taking the last little bit of his sake in he heard her question. "Well I mean we can leave whenever we want. There are other ways of making it to chuunin." He nodded a little bit. It was getting kind of boring and even if they had a second chance, still didn't mean he would make it.

Curse ground floor rooms and horrible locks, Bast thought as someone entered her room and addressed her. On the positive side, she though he might actually be there for a reason, so she decided to engage him in conversation.
"Yes, I am. Why?" She was being blunt with the Hatake, as he had reminded her of another who was wandering off in the world somewhere. "Did one of our guys go over to Kumo again? Do I need to kill someone?"

Bast perked up almost immediately after she heard that this wasn't an assassination mission. Her vacation was taking a turn for the better, it seemed.
"Oh? What sort of job? I would love to eat free food if that's the job," she said eagerly with a slight inward grin at her last remark. Not enough people were sarcastic.

Bast stood from her bed and yawned.
"That's a fair assessment. If that's all, I can find my way to Kumogakure on my own, but I may need some help once there. If you can go ahead and prepare an in-Village escort, that would be lovely," she said while letting her hair down out of its ponytail.
