This girl was being pretty specific, when Robert would have rather liked some generalities. He didn't need to know whether he was handsome or not.. but she was trying to be helpful. It was hard for him to be upset about it. Or anything, really. Emotion was a little lost to him right now. Robert let her take his hand, and shook it weakly, nodding to her friend. "Sup." He grunted quietly to Otto, and for the first time ever, didn't stare at the breasts. That was truly the sign of something wrong, for anyone who knew the guy. "I'm Robert. Guess you guys woke up recently, 'cause I don't remember your names before. Welcome to hell." He let Eva's hand go, and his troubled eyes turned back up to the path ahead. "Evie. Nice name. You can't possibly tell me what kind of creature I am, can you? I'd rather know that, than anything else - if one of these piece of shits comes up to me asking questions, I'm gonna need a good story, and knowing what I am would be the first step."

[Female, 6 foot, Jiang Shi] Candace had been a bit distracted upon arriving in her golem. There was a long piece of parchment waving in front of her face and she kept swatting at it. Off! Off! Why couldn't she take it off?! Atropos had warned her against it. But damnit! Ugh. Fine. She grabbed a cloak and put it on, eyes crossing as she stared at the parchment stuck to her forehead and covering the middle part of her face. This thing was going to get so annoying. The second thing she grabbed was the relic trap. She hadn't had such a terrible time with one last time! So basically this mission was the same as before only different. Cool. That worked. A long look was given to the strange things scattered throughout the clearing. A slab of rock? Fabric? A podium? What was all this for? Some witch's ritual~? She paused to bat at the parchment again. Stupid piece of..! But hey...she was female. She looked down at her body, turning this way and that to make sure she was really female. Suddenly she grinned, clearing her throat to stave off a fit of smug laughter. She had to find Jerry and show him she finally got her female golem! Now wheeeeere was he... ...Vampirella? That was definitely Jerry's voice. But who was he with? ********, that was the only downside to these golems! You had to remember voices! Candace chuckled and quietly stalked up behind the, ah, vampire 'ghoul' and draped her arms over 'her' shoulders, pressing a kiss to 'her' temple. "Why hello there, pretty girl. Fancy seeing you here." She teased affectionately, looking around to see who else was here. What the hell. She frowned at Deryk. "You look like a lobster after it's been through Chernobyl." Candace said as she blew the parchment up like an annoying piece of hair that wouldn't go away. Okay. She didn't like this golem anymore. She was going to kill H.

Keeping her arm around Otto, she nodded. "We're new, yeah. And thank you." She smiled again, but she seemed far more cautious than usual. It didn't take a genius to see that something was obviously wrong here. Unfortunately (or fortunately? It depended), she didn't know anything about this guy aside from his name.
"Er, what kind of creature you are?" She looked him up and down, craning her neck to catch a glimpse of his wings. Eva wasn't even sure where to begin guessing, so she turned to her expert. Chara?
There was a contemplative silence in her mind before her weapon finally answered, Looks like a fallen angel. Eva relayed this information and then frowned, tilting her head as she stared up at his face. For once, she was at a loss for words--asking him if he was okay didn't seem like a good idea, and she wasn't close enough to pry information from him--so she simply reached out and pat his shoulder.

((Male, 5'10", Incubus))
The problem with golems was you never had any idea who anyone else was once you were in one. The other problem was just a similar variation of the first problem, except in a battle scenario, but since Caelius had mentioned running away in that instance (which she did not like in the least,) she supposed that kind of took care of that one.
They'd all be the monsters running away from other monsters.
It took a few moments for Petra to reorient herself into this new, decidedly male body, having a very difficult time deciding whether or not she found it an improvement over the patchwork she had occupied last time. The patchwork, she had found, was to her liking, with the exception of the fact that it was easy to get disoriented, the limbs not quite secure and some of them ... well, less than fresh. She had, however, been female, and hadn't had to make any effort to change her behavior, the only moment she had experienced any difficulty being her meeting with the other, true patchwork. This body had a definite improvement balance wise, the spaded tail she had discovered lending itself very well to this task. She no longer felt herself want to retch every time she looked at her hands, which was nice, however the fact that they were large, and masculine, and deliciously tan was a little unsettling the first few times she stared at them.
Then, of course, there was always the fact that she had a p***s now, which was mildly disturbing. She didn't think Robert would appreciate that much.
'Ah, an incubus,' Cain drolled in a decidedly devilish voice, his amusement almost dripping from voice, 'How very appropriate, all things considered~'
Brushing a strand of long, disheveled blonde hair out of her eyes, Petra looked around the immediate area, her expression setting into a mild look of irritation as she realized that, of course, she couldn't pinpoint anyone she knew. The sound of familiar voices echoing a little in the deadened forest didn't help either, only further adding to her increasing frustration. Exhaling shortly, she decided wandering the crowd would probably be best in this situation, mumbling a few 'sorry's as the large black bat-wings bowled a few of the smaller golems over, as well as a shortly-followed expletive.

(( male l average, ~5" l monster: shen gaoren, basically a huge crab with super long legs~~ ))
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO---------------"
It was a gurgly sort of sound, the continuation from her "NOOOO---" as she'd fallen into the pod, and then materialised... somewhere.
aahhh... this.. place....
This is.. Halloween?
yesssssss, yes it is... and you've taken on an interesting form, haven't you?
Flailing, Reine attempted to get used to her new body, feeling herself all over- there was no sense of ownership whatsoever; she could barely register that she was touching herself. Surreal.... As it was, she appeared to have extremely long legs, that were somewhat stiff.. attempting to walk felt like she was on stilts, and she ended up falling into the ground.

Jude was in for a treat as there was a sudden sound near him that didn't really sound human. He suddenly stood up from his crouch only to see ... a thing stumbling about as if unable to get their feet under them. Did he recognize the 'OOOO'? Maybe. Maybe not. After having had a few moments of 'alone time' to brood and get out of his bad temper he was at least more social at this point.
He wandered toward them, "Hey, hey. Just take it slow," Jude said quietly as he moved to help whoever it was up. The form was unfamiliar to him at the moment, "you alright?"
Jude was lucky to have landed a humanoid monster.
Now if only his heart didn't feel like it was going to explode out of his chest from fright.

Whether he recognised her or not, she knew his voice immediately, and flung herself at him, sobbing into his gut. All things considered, it was the best alternative to crying into a bosom, especially since he didn't have one.
"I'M A MAN, JUDE."
At least she had the sense to be quiet about it- they were in a foreign place, and she had no idea what could- or would happen. Monsters might eat them! Vampires might suck their blood! But wait.. they would be okay, wouldn't they? These were golems, and the Doctor had shot at one... but Clarice was still fine, wasn't she?
Sitting up, she propped herself against Jude, though she had to avert her eyes from him- only the knowledge that he was actually Jude, and that she wasn't physically touching him, kept her close to him; she would not have otherwise touched the goblin golem with a ten-foot pole.
Or a hundred-foot pole.
"I.. I'm fine, just takes a bit of getting used to.." Perhaps she should try to stand, after all... reaching a hand up, she grabbed him, letting him help her up.
"I missed the briefing, though.. most of it. Should we be.. getting those cloaks Caelius talked about? I don't know what else we're doing here, though.."

His eyes widened a bit as she suddenly had Reine fling herself at him and he just awkwardly patted her on what he assumed was her head with a somewhat gnarled hand. He still wasn't used to having his personal space invaded but at least he wasn't mentally freaking out each time he had it happen to him. Jude sighed softly, "Just remember, Reine this isn't forever. This is just until we are done with the mission in Halloween. It'll be okay," he was trying to be soothing. He was giving her some optimism to stare at rather than a negative.
He didn't force her to look at him and honestly if that made her less upset he was all for it. He did what he could to try and help her up and support her until she got used to her golem.
"I ..missed a lot of the briefing myself other than earlier when I'd followed everyone to the pods," he moved to lead her to get a cloak and a capture gun. "I do know that you do need to put on a cloak and get one of these relic traps. We are to capture as many specimens as we can...Other than that right now we just sit here and chill out til he gets back or calls us I guess..."

Tedan shrugged slightly at that - which looked rather odd in this body - and first walked over to hand the raccoon-thing (Ryan??) the gun he'd picked up already. Then he found another cloak and handed that over too. Probably better not to actually toss anything, with these claws of his. "So, we're in Halloween, huh... where the monsters live. Guess I should pick a monster name?" He grinned, showing off some rather impressive teeth. "I'll be uhmm... Grishnákh," Tedan decided. And yes, he'd actually read those books at one point and pretty much enjoyed them.

"It'll be okay," she echoed, as if trying to convince herself. "T..Thanks, Jude. I'm glad it was you I fell over on. You're right though! No time for whining! It's a mission! I can do this!"
Evidently she'd managed to talk herself back into at least semi-functioning, her hand slipping into Jude's as he led her over.
"I guess they're all the same size?" Picking out a cloak, she fumbled with it for a while, trying to tie it around her neck, but couldn't quite manage to do it right.
"Would you.. uh.. help me with this?" She held it out to the other boy expectantly. He was around the same height as her- luckily. Some of the others looked tiny, and others still.. looked completely ridiculous. Who were they? Where were Eva, Otto, and Boss...? Perhaps she'd have the time to look for them later; she just hoped she wouldn't unknowingly run into Robert or Petra.
"And I guess I gotta practice my.. manly voice.." She tried it out, making her voice deeper, though it only resulted in her throat feeling sort of scratchy, and she coughed.

Jude chuckled slightly, "You can do this," he encouraged quietly. The young man had no issue holding onto her hand for the moment. It was a bit like having a sibling and helping them out and oddly comforting.
"Not really, if you take a look around people are all sorts of different sizes," he informed her as he watched her try to put on a cloak and when she asked him for assistance he simply reached forward and helped her as best as he could and once she seemed secure in her cloak he adjusted it about her shoulders.
Amusement was had when she tried a manlier voice, "Well don't try to force it or anything. Just um..Hey pretend you have a sore throat and just talk like that if you feel the need to converse with one of them somehow...? I don't know. You'd think I'd be more used to it by now, heh."
Speaking of which he needed to think Reine as a 'he' so he didn't blow her cover should other beings arrive here.
He had no real plans to do any conversation with the beasties in this world. He just intended to capture and go.

She nodded solemnly, thanking him as he helped her with the cloak. "I wonder what's up with these anyway? Is it their uniform, like we have white jackets?
Odd... did all monsters have to wear red cloaks? Somehow she'd associated those with, like, Superman... or something. Heros, not villains. But whatever worked, she supposed. It'd be funny maybe to see a yeti in a red cloak.
"I AM A MANLY MAAAAN," Reine roared, or tried to. "Actually it looks like this.. golem isn't too manly anyway. Maybe if I try to fake it the other end, it'll go across better."
At 'used to it' she pricked up her ears.
"You've been here before? What's it like? Do all monsters live in forests? What about the icy ones? Like yetis?"
Leaning over, she picked up one of the capture guns and stuck it in her pocket. With that, she was... ready for the mission, for varying definitions of 'ready'.

"I haven't a clue. Pretty convenient either way," he observed after he made sure the cloak fit 'him' alright. He tilted his head a bit to the side as Reine gave an attempt at a 'roar'. Jude only smirked a bit and shrugged.
He patted 'his' shoulder a bit, "It is better if you don't try to force it either way otherwise it might come off unnatural," he instructed simply. That and it made her cough earlier that would get pretty worrying if she kept that up.
"I came here once, there was a festival going on at the time. We had to collect a few of their .. prizes from it." Jude gave a small shrug, "I didn't really get a good look at their living situation just yet."
The goblin known as Jude tapped a foot a bit, "If you want to fuss with a fake name for this round it is an okay thing to think about. I guess."

It had taken Aleister some time and eventually sitting on the ground to get his cloak to cover the wings on his unseelie Golum. Everyone else was sort of busy talking.
He stood up looking at the trapping device, now that he was decently hidden by his robe. <I wonder how this works.>
<I have no clue kid. Just try not to put your eye out with it.>

"Y..yeah," she agreed. "So they have festivals too.." Intriguing. Were they pagan rituals, or the like? But then Jude raised another important point, and once again she felt lucky that she was with an older hunter, one who had some idea of what was going on.
"Fake monster names, huh?" Well, Frankenstein was a classic, and so was Jack... Godzilla, too, was likely not to go too well, especially considering her somewhat skinny frame.
Well, how about Thomas? A nice, neat name.. unless monsters didn't have normal names? Aaaahh... this was hard. Reine racked her brains, trying to think of lore she'd read- clearly, if the Deus compound had a library, she would be needing to check it out and do some research. It irked her slightly, not knowing what she was getting into.
"Mozzarella? Or is that too cheesy? Heh heh... I'm at a loss, though. What name did you pick?"
