Wilson rolled his neck as he strolled back into the classroom, a look of relief on his face. It felt so good to be back in his human body. The experience had certainly been interesting, but he really hoped he got a better golem next time. He spotted Ryan and quickly slid into a seat next to the other hunter. “Well, this mission wasn’t so bad, was it?” He grinned, leaning forward and propping up an elbow, cupping his face with a hand.

He remained quiet for a bit, but the talk of the horsemen piqued his interest. “Wait, that flaming horse? Seriously?”

"You okay?" She smiled at Gale when he settled down beside her, though she couldn't help but notice just how quiet he was. Was he mulling over the mission, perhaps? Eva was actually a little puzzled by the outcome--they had captured all of the creatures and then...? Were they really just leaving them there? What was the point of that?

It seemed like a waste considering how much effort they had gone to to capture all those netted monsters. Then again..."I have a terrible shot with those trap guns," She admitted with a sheepish grin, running a hand though her hair, "I think I almost captured Otto at one point." Eva struggled between grimacing and smiling at the thought, though she finally just shook her head and sighed.

Her gaze flickered to Madison, and a thoughtful frown spread over her lips. It was weird to think that, in the Halloween world, they were the so called things that went bump in the night. But hey, as terrible as it may have sounded, she was willing to let Halloween live in ignorance--it made their job easier that way

The chair was rocking back and forth as he had it levered with his foot on the table as the information began to spread about the mission. Some information that was new and some that was stale. "Oh so that was the horsemen Candace?" he asked aloud once the info reached his ears, and turned around to face the rather rude girl.

That Jerry, he sure can pick them.

"And Hey, I'm just making a statement, for you to dispute it without evidence means your just speculating." he said with a casual shrug to the girl and turned back around. "Haters really gotta stop hatin' but I digress, on a more important topic." he wheeled back around toward the newer recruits and offered a smirk. "What did you think about that place and its inhabitants?"

Jordan glanced thoughtfully at Maddie, somewhat surprised by the aggression in her last statements; but he said nothing about it. Something to keep an eye on, he mused.

((Arriving))

Vanessa was glad to be tall (well, taller) again. Upon exiting the pod, she stretched, grasping Volt's necklace for a moment, before following the other returning trainees back to the room as Caelius had directed.

Upon entering, she heard snatches of the conversation about the deadly horses. Vanessa's eyebrows raised, and she took a seat in the unoccupied chair next to Wilson, giving him a nod as she did so, before turning to the majority of the others, listening as they spoke. Oh yes, Vanessa remembered their evil giant pony. The thing had killed her, after all.

She noted the general traits of the conversations around her, but made no move to jump into any of them.

Cass nodded at the end of Candace's statement. "The four Horsemen from Revelations written about in the bible. First comes Conquest on a white horse, then War on a red horse, followed by Famine on a Black Horse, and Death on a 'Pale' horse." She ticked them off one after the other, using her fingers as a place keeper as she did so. There was a lot of knowledge to be garnered from all the Wikipedia reading she'd done, after all. She was just fortunate to remember it all.

"These guys don't look old enough to be in the bible though.." she noted, making a face. Were there more Horsemen than just those four? Yuck.

Gale's eyes shifted sideways, catching Eva's question and her curious gaze.

"Fine," he replied quietly, absently twisting the ring on his left index finger. He was still furious at Caelius for playing them all like pawns on a chess board, but there was no use getting irritated over it - not that he could really help that. It was not like he was going to get up and confront the Death leader over it, anyway.

<< It's not surprising, though, is it? I mean...it's Caelius, after all. >>

No, Gale agreed internally. It's not surprising. It's just annoying.

<< Understandable. >>

"It's just..." Gale said, speaking very softly, in case Caelius decided to turn up abruptly, turning his head towards Eva. "Why were were even sent there? What was the point of capturing them all if we weren't going to bring them back with us? Just to get the horsemen back here?"

He exhaled his breath in a long sigh, shaking his head as he gave her a wry smile.

"It's all right, I rarely have luck with them either," he said, and then snorted in amusement. "And I'm sure no one would have objected if you had caught Otto in that trap."

"A winged dude fell on you from the sky, Deryk. And you exploded. It was hilarious." Candace told Deryk when she remembered he had asked her what happened. She chuckled at the memory again.

When Leon 'stood up' to her and called her a hater she raised a brow. Oh no, did she annoy him? Aw how terrible. Maybe she should hold a grudge for a few months and bring it up when everyone was trying to get over it and move on. Oh, but would that be too annoyingly spiteful of her? Goodness! How dare she not want to hear about someone's p***s! "Someone can't take a joke~." Was all she said to that, knowing full well if she really said what she wanted to say it would just stir up unnecessary drama. Look! Look! See how considerate she is! Not wanting to dredge up the past~! Even if in this case the past was ten seconds ago.

Cass made a good point though. Those horsemen didn't look nearly old enough to have been in the bible. "Either they're eternally young or...eugh...they bred." She shuddered a little at the thought.

"I caught a couple things, but people kept freeing them. That was more annoying than not catching them, I think. Caelius did warn us they weren't all that great with accuracy." Candace pouted. Those guns needed work. Were they new?

[[Entering]]

Aleister walked back into the classroom and looked around curiously. That perhaps could've gone better, he moved towards a seat and sighed. Obviously he'd have to work on his aim, by a lot...

((entering))
She quickly scanned the room for any sign of the two, before heaving a sigh of relief and making her way over to Eva, moving to hide behind her. Reine clung to her friend by way of greeting, resting her head on the girl's shoulder. There was no telling when- or where- the two people she didn't want to see would appear- she'd take monsters over them. Probably.

Only when she'd settled down did she notice Jordan nearby, and waved to him somewhat awkwardly. "Hey, Boss." It had only just occurred to her that he'd know Robert and Petra better than she did; after all, they'd had those months together while she was sleeping.

"What's going on?"

"Rampant speculation, mostly," Jordan answered Reine. "Passes the time, at least."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 28, 2011 6:31 pm

"Mm. While we wait for our fearless leader to come back from..whatever he's doing." Candace frowned, pushing her chair so it rested back on two legs. "A shame we don't have cards. We could pass the time with a giant game of poker instead."

First world problems.

Cass waved as Aleister entered the room. "Hey! How are you holdin' up?" she asked brightly, though the talk of cheap entertainment on the front of waiting did warrant some sighing. "I guess we could always take bets on how long Caelius is going to keep us waiting." she said, not exactly loudly, as she knew if she did that would be the second the Master-Hunter would walk in.

And then he'd scold her about her five minute delay on getting out to get the crap beaten out of her by him with that stupid pole.

She wanted that kind of brute power.

You're not a brute, Cassandra. That is why you lack that sort of strength.

"I exploded? Wow. That's pretty hardcore. Least I put a little show for you guys then," Deryk mused while tilting his head at the thought. Damn. Now he did wish he could get some sort of instant replay like in the games.

Oh well.

The moment Otto finally woke from the pod, he had a mission in mind. He burst out, stomping out of the room, through the halls.

He kicked open the door to the classroom (and if it was open? Whatever slack it had was kicked for good measure), stepping two stomps inside, he scanned the room, brows furrowed.

"Who's the perverted oaf of a jackass who thought it'd be funny to use me as a ********' mirror and goddamn stress ball in that gawd awful golem?! His eyes flashed toward Eva and Rein, glaring at them "Not countin' the peanut gallery. I'll deal with you two pests later."
