Hal frowned and kept his gaze on his future daughter. "You can help if it's nowhere near this Park. Joker's unpredictable, and I'm not taking any chances of you winding up as one of his gas victims." he replied.
Really, they could help here, but he didn't want to risk his daughter. There was just too much that could go wrong with this clown.



The mist, meanwhile, had floated back towards the commotion. Keeping close to the shadowed areas of the buildings. It paused around the corner of a far off building to see just what all the gunfire was about this time. It was making her rather nervous. Again, she seen the man shooting at a building, then at someone inside the building. She had a sudden urge to just...make that gun of his explode in his hands. She couldn't help but think he would shoot Rosie...by accident or by her being tossed infront of him.

But....she could only float around when she was in her mist form. She'd have to reform herself to use any other magic. And with Joker demanding that she show up in the park....well....she wasn't ready for that. Unfortunately she'd have to walk around at some point. Half of the buildings around here were sealed tight enough that gas just couldn't slip in or out of. Which meant she couldn't get in this way. She'd have to find out exactly what building Rosie was in, and then teleport inside if she could.
Easier said than done though. There was....quite a bit preventing her from just going in and out of buildings.

She took not at the number of heroes playing with the other creature, and carefully slipped back around the other side of the building. Perhaps she could just allow them to crash through each and every building until someone found the main building.

Actually...that wasn't a bad idea.

For a brief split second, the mist swirlled about and took the shape of a woman. And just as quickly, the entire thing vanished.




On the rooftop, Alex and Sapphire were still anxiously waiting on the woman to heal Roxanne. A new distraction made itself present, though, as Sapphire suddenly jerked backwards and just....vanished.

Alex whirled around, trying to find Sapphire. When she couldn't find her at all, she cursed under her breath. She needed to go. She needed to find her now.



Sapphire reappeared inside the Park grounds, well away from any of the others in the park. She stood there frozen for a moment, trying to figure out what had just happened.

"Got it," Nightwing said, before a blur moved past him and headed up to another crate: Apex had gotten back in the game.


"I'll handle Fries, Miss," Apex said to RC, unsheathing one of his two katanas. "You're going to need to help your two friends fight Killer Croc."


"And you are...?" Nightwing asked Apex, who didn't respond. In truth, Apex was only helping out because he wanted to fight both d**k and Tim at once by himself. He wanted them to have all the help they could get so that they wouldn't tire out before he fought them.

"... Idiot," Apex muttered to himself. Arell had gotten lucky with Killer Croc, but Freeze had a projectile weapon he could use... This guy really needed to learn some discipline, Apex thought as he leaped down and caught RC smoothly, before setting her right.

"I take it your friend doesn't know the words 'tactics' or 'strategy', yes?" Apex muttered to Kai, looking coolly over at Arell.

Arell felt the aura sink into him the moment he got his pistol out to draw. Unfortunately, he also was about to fire when Kai flipped over him. How the he- didn't I just toss her aside a minute ago? Better yet, where the hell is my shotgun? he thought, pausing for a bit. Looking at Freeze, at Kai, and then at his gun. Sure he was strong, but that armor was stronger . . . than his human body.

'Cmon, kid! Let me out to play. I can take him! Stupid tin can that he is. came a voice in his mind.

No! I can't do it. A fella like that doesn't deserve to be eaten. Besides, he has a gun. his human thoughts replied.

So you're gonna side with the birdie? his animalistic self asked him.

Either that or die. Your pick. He said. Calming down. He holstered the gun, he kept the big knife out though. He eased down, juking to the right to circle around the Freeze.

"Gotta be a way t' cut dis turkey down." he growled.

Alex looked over at the Blue Lantern and gave her a quick nod. "Thank you, by the way." she said as she moved towards the ledge of the roof. Just in case she didn't have a chance to say that later.
With that she jumped straight off the edge of the building. She spun around half way through the fall, and shot an arm out towards the wall, letting her claws catch the brick and slow her momentum. As she got closer to the ground, she retracted her claws, spun, and pushed off the wall of the building. She landed in a crouch, sprang forward, and sprinted off for the enterance of the park.





Once Sapphire regained her bearings, and realized where she was, she scowled. Realizing exactly what had probably just happened to her. Gossamer had been so insistant she come inside the Park....looks like she actually got her inside the park.

Not wanting to be out in the open with all the commotion going on, even if it was elsewhere in the Park, she moved to find a place she could get a little better elevation.

But her feet didn't move. They wouldn't move.

Her eyes widened and she tried harder to force her legs to move, realizing that she couldn't move anything. Not an unusual problem when dealing with Gossamer. She didn't know where the woman was, but she had to have been close by. Her powers wouldn't be this strong if she was still out on the rooftops. Would it?

Either way...she was in a very, very bad spot.



"Don't you worry about me." Hal replied. "I don't plan on getting too close either. We'll help with what we can from a safe distance. If things get out of hand, then I'll get close and personal." he continued, then grinned a bit. "Besides....Batman tends to be territorial when it comes to his gallery of rogues."




Rosie watched the screen Joker had pointed out as much as she could. Her attention though kept darting from various points of interest. There was...quite a bit going on now. A lot more people had dropped in. The group with Croc...the group with Freeze...the two people in Green flying above the park....Alex running back into the park....the woman in blue suddenly appearing on the other end of the park.

She sighed a bit and glanced up at Joker before he took the microphone to speak again. Because he probably would to talk to all of the guests. "Are you sure you have enough rides for everyone?" she asked.

Meanwhile, while everything else was going on, one more person entered the park.

C'mon... Alex, where are you? he asked himself as he crossed into the empty park. He used his heightened sense of smell, which he could use to detect scents for up to a mile, and he spotted her easily, as well as several scents he didn't recognize, and at least two that he did: Hal and Carlie.

Ignoring everyone else, Lucas began to sprint, following Alex's scent, and he quickly caught up with her.

"Alex!" he cried, catching up to her and slowing down. "What's been going on? I... I've been worried about you."
