Isadora [Claire, Faleen, Izaya, Asch, Aila] -

Isadora blinked at the arrival of someone she had never seen before who seemed to be frantically telling Faleen about some person who wanted to kill him. Fairly interested in the conversation, but not enough to pry, Isadora turned back to Claire. "Oh, yes. Layleeta." At the mention of her unruly and anger-filled Pokemon, the doctor made a small frown and sighed lightly. That wasn't exactly a subject she liked to bring up, but Claire was curious, and so Isadora would oblige.

"Well, he's evolved recently, that much I can tell you. His personality hasn't changed too much, unfortunately. He's still grumpy, but now he's just bigger." She shrugged her shoulders and glanced down at her feet. "He doesn't glare or snap as much at Iditarod or Basil now, which is a good thing. He also seems to acknowledge my presence more. He still ignores what I saw most of the time, but it's rare when I actually catch him staring daggers at me." It was tiresome trying to keep the peace with Layleeta around, but no one could say that Isadora didn't try her best. It was as much of a challenge as anything.

Unexpectedly, Isadora saw a blur of black and red fly nearby. Startled, her eyes followed the path of whom she assumed to be Asch until a second person ran after him. Isadora had to squint her eyes to see who was running after him. Was that... Aila? Why was Aila running after that kid? Did he insult her somehow and now he was running for his life? That was an amusing prospect, and Isadora politely covered her mouth as she chuckled quietly to herself.

(@Asch and Izaya)

Her stoic countenance relaxed in something akin to a physical sigh of relief. She nodded in appreciation and understanding. An explanation later would be much easier than extinguishing the flames that had the potential to spring up now.

"Que ferez-vous??" she asked in a vaguely hushed tone. It was a broad question that would be defined by the answer: Would he simple select another color scheme or opt for a colored wig, would he gather himself and face that woman head on, or would he simply choose to leave the party? She was curious the stranger and his relationship to her, but she wasn't going to pry into the matter when it was so obvious that it was a matter he didn't want to address at the moment.

Asch scowled as the stranger continued to talk, especially when it came to manners and royalty. He very seriously doubted this man knew anything about how royals were supposed to act. However, his brows raised in surprise when Izaya offered him the mask, and he considered it for a moment before taking it. It may come in handy after all.

The red head watched in silence as Aila shooed off the superhero, before sighing quietly at her question. "Je ne sais pas," he said quietly in return. He was now a bit out of sorts after that encounter, and it showed in his voice and expression. Asch hadn't been at all prepared to see Natalia. It was as if the rug had been pulled out from under him.

The agent then attempted to compose himself and straightened up with a frown. "Changement dans une robe différente. J'aurai besoin d'une perruque." He wasn't planning to leave just yet. If he could disguise himself well enough... maybe he could at least... watch her from a distance.

(Isadora, Faleen, Izaya, Asch, Aila)

As if Izaya running in and going on about some guy wanting to kill him wasn't bad enough, that unfortunate guy in the princess costume ran back in to... change. Why? Judging from his frenzied, distressed behavior, it wasn't hard to figure out he'd seen someone he'd rather not have. It wasn't hard for her to deduce, after all, as it was something she'd experienced first-hand and hoped never to have to ever again. But then Izaya ran over to be annoying - or himself, the words were interchangeable, really - and she couldn't help but roll her eyes at his behavior. Not that it was surprising, anyway. What was surprising that Aila ran in next. A thoughtful frown appeared on her face before she turned to Isadora once more. Faleen probably wanted to speak to Izaya about this Shizuo-character, so Claire directed a smile at her therapist friend. "That's better than no progress at all, though," she said encouragingly. "And Zeus is always willing to help out if need be." Even if he was now a lot smaller than Layleeta, he could still throw him.. probably halfway across a pool. It might be worth testing. "But uh, want to go check out the rest of the party?" She asked meaningfully - and leave them here to deal with whatever their problem is?

Aila waited patiently as Asch sorted his thoughts. She was familiar with the feeling of suddenly being faced with someone one had not expected to face, though she could imagine that Asch's situation was very different than hers had been. When he came to his decision, she nodded, "Aimeriez-vous pour moi pour t'aider?" It was entirely possible that he wanted to be left alone for a while, and she was more than willing to give him that space if he wanted it. However, if he wished for an extra pair of hands to help in preparation, she was equally willing to volunteer hers.

(Asch, Mau, Ailia, anyone)

She stood her ground at the chastising tone but had to admit the man would be right at home in some of the court sessions with that tongue on him. Natalia's eyes darted over to 'Luke' as the man talked. It was rather disheartening that it really did look like 'Luke' would run as much as possible to avoid her at the moment. When the red head and the woman ran/walked off she knew that this was a complete waste of time for now. She looked back at Mau and made a decision.

"Natalia. Just...just tell him to get back to me when he's ready to talk." It took a bit to get that out and a bit more of her anxiety showed through on her face when she said it. After that she made a nod of good bye then walked off in a random direction. She wasn't about to just go and find Guy again, ruining the good mood he was in.

Asch considered Aila's question for a moment. He started to refuse and insist that he could do it himself. However, he reconsidered this before the words left his mouth. She had helped him thus far, and her company was not unwanted.

"Tous droit," he conceded after a few moments thought. It wouldn't hurt to have a second opinion on his outfit, considering he wanted to be as unrecognizable as possible.

It seemed quite a few people in the room were familiar with the experience of being haunted by past ghosts. It didn't help that many of said ghosts were right here at the party attending - the proud young princess from Grand Isle, the humming pink pirate whose voice carried into the room from another, and the ex-bartender zombie that had unexpectedly showed up with the rest of the trainers. It was a Halloween nightmare, like some elaborate trick. Wasn't that what the holiday was about, after all? Tricks and treats?

Despite this, Izaya forced himself to relax. He stepped away from the pair of ladies as they began to discuss things in French, wondering why, exactly, they felt the need to speak in a different language. Clearly this person was closer to Aila than Izaya had initially thought. First Faleen, now Aila. By now, the informant had already realized that the red-head was more than likely a Rocket.

Pacing the dressing room, he wandered back to Faleen before stepping on his tip-toes and peeking out the door, around Claire's head. No zombie bartender yet. Thank Arceus. "Claire," he spoke sweetly, all hints of his prior panic gone from his voice, "Would you be a dear and get me a new mask to conceal my secret identity? It's crucial for a superhero, you know." Maybe when she moved, he'd be able to see more where her big head had previously blocked his view.

She nodded once, glad to be of assistance to her partner. Maybe this wasn't exactly how one was supposed to spend one's time at a party, but this was certainly working out more productively than clinging to a corner for the duration of the event. "Ah," she'd almost forgotten to mention, "J'ai vu Luke." Asch probably wouldn't be terribly happy to hear this, but at least it decreased his chances of being recognized by his alleged fiance. As she said this, she located a few essential supplies. If he wanted to wear a wig, he would undoubtedly need a cap and pins for it. It was somewhat of a shame, really. He wore that outfit disturbingly well.

@ Natalia, anyone

As the woman offered her name, Mau had half a mind to bow and give his own as well. However, she didn't give him the chance. Her clipped instructions to have the man talk to her when he was ready, and her retreat left Mau wondering if she thought he was a messenger. He was not, in fact. If he didn't see 'that man' again no skin off his back. He lifted the bandanna once more to cover his face and left his spot against the wall and tossed his can of soda away before wandering the floors.

It was somewhat of a shame, although Asch would rather kill himself than admit to this. It had been the most suiting outfit he could find for himself, but now he'd have to find something completely different or risk being recognized again.

Just as he selected and pulled out a frilly, Victorian styled purple dress, Aila's words reached his ears. "Quoi?!" he snapped, rage erupting like flames in his eyes as he turned quickly to look at her. That idiot was here?! However, he settled down quickly. Of course he was here. All his friends seemed to be, so it really shouldn't have been surprising.

Grumbling to himself, Asch started to quickly pull off the black and red dress to put on the purple one. His upbringing in the later years of his life didn't allow for him to be modest, however he was wearing enough under the dress as to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation as he quickly changed his costume.

(@Asch)

Regardless of how much or how little he wore under the dress, Aila did him the courtesy of turning her attention elsewhere while he changed his clothes. "Idéalement, votre ami sera le trouver et vous laissent tranquille," she noted. If simply changing his appearance didn't throw her off Asch's trail, surely coming across the person she was likely actually looking for would encourage her attention away from him. At least he wasn't angry for long, not outwardly at least.

"Avez-vous besoin d'aide avec la perruque?" she asked idly, redirecting the topic of the conversation. She was sure he could handle it himself, but his hair was still curled from earlier and it would be quicker with assistance.

Asch said nothing in regards to Aila's first statement. He knew that she was right, but... it was both a good and bad thing that left him with mixed emotions. Emotions that he did very well in concealing as he pulled on the purple dress. Again he felt ridiculous, but he would have to endure this humiliation for now. At least this way, he might be able to conceal his gender, and identity even better.

"Ouais," he replied, knowing that with all the hair he had, it would indeed be easier with assistance. Even if the idea of wearing a wig, that other people had likely worn before, sickened him.

Luxury studied the boy as he seemed to think quite hard about something. Of course, that was quite hard to do with the costume of his.

When he asked her about dancing she nearly choked on her shrimp. "Oh gawd no. I don't dance." Mainly because she didn't have a clue how. She never went to school dances, she didn't go to her prom, she never had a radio to dance to in her room.

And she certainly never danced with a boy.

Or at least, that's what she assumed Shadow was, given the name and deeper voice. "And how could you dance in that get-up? Aren't you dying in all that?"

(Naomi)

Kratos had wandered around the party for a little while after leaving the younger redhead and the blonde who had apparently been looking for him, occasionally glancing in the direction of raised voices but not truly interacting with anyone. He probably would have continued this indefinitely (aside from perhaps a short break for some punch), if Miette hadn't spotted something that excited her. The pink pikachu didn't leave her perch inside the oversized magician's hat, but she did tug at her neck ribbon and point off to a pirate girl near the dressing room.

"Pika! PIkachu!"

While Kratos could only guess at what she was saying, the tall redhead was able to understand her enough to tell that for some reason, the mouse Pokémon really wanted to go over and say hello to the stranger. With nothing better to do than go along with the social creature's wishes, Kratos was willing enough to walk that way. By the time they neared the lady pirate, the pikachu was nearly bouncing out of the hat in excitement, cheerfully waving as her cheek pouches started to spark. Knowing what could happen if that was allowed to continue, Kratos put a finger behind one ear and the 'pinkachu' immediately calmed down, though she did still offer a quick "Pikaa" of protest.

"Good evening," the magician-costumed rocket said, smooth voice giving no indication of embarrassment for either his pikachu's appearance or her happy behavior. "I apologize for the interruption. I trust that this event is pleasant enough for you?"

(Anyone)

Okay, that settled it. Callista was bored. But she wasn't quite bored enough to be willing to leave this place just yet, and so instead the blue dinosaur made her way over to the punch. She knew that at a gathering this size, it was likely to be spiked with all manner and concentration of things, but if she was going to have to stand around and look like an idiot in body paint and a bikini, she might as well have a reason to look like an idiot.

Her misdreavus caught on to her intentions, being an intelligent pokémon who knew her trainer well, but other than a somewhat frustrated "Drea...", the ghost-type seemed content to let Callista do what she wanted. In fact, she was willing enough that she decided it was time to explore this party on her own! If Callista wouldn't talk to any of the typed-humans, then Misa would! With that thought in mind, the misdreavus quietly slipped away from her trainer, and floated off into the dressing rooms - maybe there was someone in there she could prank play with!
