▬Yuri § Solotov▬

Once Lillie returned, Yuri placed his arm around her and let out a small, content sigh, both of them knew that their moments of peace like this weren't going to happen often after the second son was born, but it wasn't something the knight would ever regret. Turning to his wife as she spoke, Yuri smiled and gave a small nod. "Five sounds like a reasonable age, I was four when I held my first sword. Though, I do think that we should start later if we feel that Marcus or Telek won't take weilding weapons as seriously as they should. Is that a reasonable compromise?" He asked her. Whilst he was confident that, given who was teaching them, the boys would learn quickly, there was still the matter of them not playing around with said weapons. They did agree that they weren't going to start off with proper swords and arrows made with metal, but things such as wood still did sting when used improperly.

Lillie agreed. She didn't want her sons to play around with weapons. They should be used with respect for each other as well as the weapon. "Let's start with foam toys." She commented. She knew that they would start hitting each other other and it was better that they use something that they would just get little bumps with over cuts. "Once they prove their worth we'll give them wooden, then metal." She told her husband. That way they were also building their strength bit by bit.

Yuri nodded lightly and smiled at Lillie, he was so glad that the two of them could plan things without any argument so easily. "Sounds good. Foam, then wood, then metal..." He said, smirking lightly as a thought came to mind. "While we're on the subject, how about a little wager on what weapon the two master the fastest? I'll be betting on blades of course." He said playfully. Whilst he knew that Lillie and himself were exceedingly good with their respective weapons, he couldn't help but wonder who would be the better teacher. Granted, he had to learn everything he knew about archery from the woman beside him, he wasn't going to lose confidence that he'd be just as useful as a sword teacher if she accepted.

Lillie raised an eyebrow at his bet. She was a teacher and knew who to act and teach children. "I think that our children are going to do well in different weapons. I just have a feeling they will." She told her husband. She knew her children more than anyone well. She gave birth to them after all. "The question is which they are good at." She added. That she didn't know. She didn't know if Telek's hand was with a bow or a sword and the same with Marcus. "Which weapon do you hope they will pick up?" She asked.

Yuri smiled at his wife and gave a small shrug when asked what he hoped they would pick up. "To be honest, I hope that they learn to weild both with as much skill as possible...with that in mind though..." He said, leaning back into the couch as he stared up at the cieling. "I honestly can't say I know what they'll be good at until they show us." He added. He couldn't assume that Telek would lean more towards the bow because he was a full-blooded Elf, Yuri himself was full Elf and hadn't actually used one until much later in life, nor could he assume that Marcus would swing a sword like a Dragon would swing their claws. After a second or two of silence, Yuri couldn't help but chuckle lightly. "Who knows...maybe the two will grow to hate having to put in hours of practice and be happier with simpler activities." He told Lillie. Even if he would like to see the boys grow up in a similar fashion to himself, he knew that the two would be supported by both parents regardless of what paths they decided to choose.

Lillie agreed they couldn't predict where their children would go in their paths of life. She wouldn't be the one to force them. That was not in her nature. She barely kept order in her own classes. "The only thing that I know they'll be able to do is speak Elvish." She commented with a chuckle. When Yuri wasn't around she would speak it to Marcus and he had picked up a few sentences. She was planning on the same for Telek. "That and they'll probably have younger siblings." They had talked about become a party of five or six and she hoped that still stayed true. "There are so many factors that they'll be put through such as which uncle, aunt, or grandparent gets their time with them, or with Marcus if Nyuu shows up." Her heart sunk a bit. She didn't want the little dragon boy to have anything to do with his biological father. "I don't want to keep it from him, but I don't want Marcus to search for Nyuu." She added.

It was Yuri's turn to raise an eyebrow slightly when Lillie mentioned speaking Elvish, though a smile did accompany it. He knew that Lillie was teaching Marcus, the boy had slipped in a few words every now and then around his father, but he wasn't obecting to it. Yuri himself was, in lighter words, still terrible at speaking the language of his natural race fluently, having been raised Human for his entire childhood made it a very hard subject to grasp fully. Yuri's smile grew a little more when Lillie added the topic of more children, he wanted a larger family just as much as she did. "Let's just hope they'll have a sister or two to balance out the gender ratio a bit." He said light-heartedly. When Nyuu's name came into the discussion, Yuri's smile faded just a bit. Even though he didn't ever want to admit it, Yuri still held the grudge that sent him away from his family to seek out the Dragon. Letting out an inaudible sigh, he gently pulled his wife a little closer in order to hug her lightly. "I know that we can't hide it from him forever, but we'll know when he's ready to learn that truth. When that time comes, I'll make sure that he'll know not to make the same mistake I did...I promise." He reassured her, hoping that it was a task easier said than done.

Lillie agreed that one daughter would at least be nice. She knew that she could handle two boys, but she wasn't sure about a girl. She hoped that their girl was a balanced between them. She want her to have some of her father's features. She looked up at her husband. "Some days I'm just waiting for him to burp fire." She told her husband her worry. If Marcus saw something different from the rest of his family that will be a hug key that he isn't Yuri's son. She just hoped he didn't think about being adopted.

Yuri gave Lillie a weak smile when she spoke, he knew that she was worried about Marcus feeling isolated because of what he was biologically. "Even if he suddenly sprouts wings, he'll still be our son. We just have to make sure he knows that we're still his family no matter what...but...I do have to know..." He trailed off for a moment as a thought, or rather a memory, came to mind. "How did you react...when you discovered that you weren't all Elf?" He asked. He was, of course, referring to her Human half, given by her Human father, Ren. He never really did think or ask about this subject at all, but it seemed appropriate now that they were discussing this. Now that Yuri thought about it, he would really the only full-blooded Elf in the family. If anything, he would be the most different out of all of them, even if the Human gene wouldn't run as strongly in Telek and their other future children.

Lillie didn't really have to deal with that like Marcus did. It was much different for her. "I was never kept from the truth like we are doing with Marcus. I didn't get to play around with just anyone too. Growing up it was just Sopian and I most of the time and my mother had told me that I was part human, but I'd always been with my family and my mother never married officially to another man." She was referring to Elendil a bit. "Maybe we should just tell him now and he'll go into it." The woman suggested. They could at least kill his curiosity now before he went looking for Nyuu.

Yuri gave a small nod, he supposed he was sort of given the same scenario when explained that he was not biologically related to the knights. He still had no idea who his real parents were in life, but given that he grew to be who he was now, it wasn't like not knowing had destroyed his life. "Maybe, though we can't just directly tell him that he's not related to me genetically. I think if we explain to him that he's part Dragon first, in a way that he'll find appealing, he might be less inclined to feel upset about it. If and when he starts asking about why he's not a full-blodded Elf would be when we let him know why." He said, pausing for just a moment. "Mentioning Nyuu's name is probably not ideal, given that, as far as I know, there's very few with that name, it might make it too easy to look for him." He said. Although Yuri would try and do what he could to keep Marcus away from Nyuu, they had to take every contigency into account in the case that the boy did have a desire to seek him out.

Lillie nodded and gave her husband a sweet kiss. "I swear you're the one with all the brains in this family." She told him with a giggle. She may have gone to college and worked as a teacher, but some times she was the one who over thought everything. "Maybe that's why I married you." She agreed they would say it in a kind of fun fact way before telling her son what it all meant.

Yuri smiled lightly as Lillie kissed him, letting out a small chuckle when she spoke. "I'd be worried if I were the brains of all this." He said light-heartedly, leaning in and giving her a gentle kiss in return. "I hope that's not all you married me for, otherwise I might start thinking you love me only for my remarkable intelligence." He joked, intertwining her fingers with his. Worries about Marcus were indeed being sorted out, but Yuri did have some mild concerns regarding the Dragon that fathered him. What if Nyuu were to return one day? What if he had come to claim Marcus as his? Even though there were no concrete signs of the Dragon's reappearance, he did know where the family was, there was no denying that. Though these thoughts were troubling, Yuri simply smiled at his wife, deciding to cast these thoughts to the side for now in favour of simply enjoying the present company of his beloved.

Lillie giggled at her husbands comment. The man thing was that he was a smart man. If there wasn't someone who couldn't keep up with her then why would she marry him. "No not the only reason." She agreed with that statement. She pushed back his hair. "You're good looking, you're great in bed, and whenever I'm around you I still have butterflies in my belly, or in this case a Telek." She joked. "Which we'll need a bigger house if we want more. Maybe we should move after Telek is born." She suggested.

Yuri couldn't help but grin a little when Lillie listed the reasons why she married him, he lightly cupped her cheek in his hand. "You know, those are the exact reasons I fell in love with you...except for the Telek part of course. Intelligent, beautiful, kind, amazing in bed and still able to give me goosebumps...even if the need for you to be married by the time you were eighteen sped up the process, I'm positive I would've proposed to you at least once we had graduated." He told her light-heartedly. When the topic of moving came up, he gave a small nod, yet another thing they had discussed. "Sounds like a good idea. Was there anywhere in particular you had in mind?"" He asked. Naturally, Yuri would miss this apartment, but family did come first, he couldn't just make them all cram into the little space they had just because he was feeling sentimental. After all, perhaps he'd grow attatched to the new home, make even more memories with a larger family, at least the idea of moving wasn't all bad.
