Eva nodded, "Right." Then turned on her heels and moved away briskly to put their order in.
Aisha's brows raised and her ears perked up in surprise at the sudden ambush, "Impressive flying tackle." She commented, "Well, sit down. Eva isn't a fan of standing up and eating, besides, if we're getting duplicates of my usual order, this entire table is going to be filled with food."

Kohaku tilted his head thoughtfully as he slid into the booth, holding a giggling Angel as Max rolled her eyes and slid in next to Aisha. "So you've had to deal with the Erasers as well?" she said dryly to both Kohaku and Aisha. "They tried pulling a gun on her... though she put him out with the dirty laundry... safe to say that Eraser, if he didn't end up with a concussion, is going to have one hell of a headache," Kohaku quipped with a shrug of his shoulders.

"And hopefully a broken neck." Rumbled Aisha, her pupils contracted in her ire at he memory. She blinked it away and looked at Kohaku, "This is who you've been waiting for?"

Kohaku tilted his head with a slight shrug. "Why not show you what's under the surface of what most people think is there? Max and Angel are like me... yet at the same time different with their own talents," he said with a faintly amused tone of voice.
"I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that flight is one of them." Aisha commented then perked as she saw Eva made her way back to them.
She had two trays laden with food. She set these on the table with practiced ease and began placing the individual dishes on the table, "I'll come back wiht the rest." She hurried away and was soon back with the rest. The table had barely any spare room when she'd finally finished. She smiled at Kohaku, "I am glad your friends arrived safely."

Kohaku shrugged. "Flight is something all three of us have in common; their senses are somewhat keener than mine. I however, can manipulate my inner strength for a variety of uses, while Max can fly at subsonic speeds and Angel's telepathic," he said wryly.
Eva and Aisha's brows raised, Aisha let out a low whistle.
"A pleasure to meet you too. I'm Evangeline. Please enjoy your meal. Aisha, I'll put this on your tab."
Aisha, already starting to scarf her food down waved, "Thanks, Eva!"

Kohaku tilted his head slightly with amusement. "By the way, I think this will interest you," he said as he flicked a two inch uncut ruby at Evangeline. He had pickpocketed it off of the Eraser that Aisha had shoved down the laundry chute. Max was already eating while Angel was simply watching as Kohaku chuckled, knowing Evangeline would be surprised.

Kisara was putting her stuff away in her apartment. "I wish Seto was here." She sighed as she pulled out her picture of her boyfriend & her at the beach. She smiled and put the picture next to her bed on her nightstand. "Let's see....I think that's everything" Kisara said as she looked around. She sat down on her couch. "I wonder what's on TV." She said as she turned on the TV & flipped through the channels.
Evangeline was indeed surprised. So surprised that she took a few seconds fumbling the gem before she finally had it firmly in hand. She clutched it so hard it's edges threatened to cut into her palm. Slowly she released it so she could look at it. She gaped down at stone for a moment before her gaze returned to sharpen on Kohaku, "Have you been just walking around with this thing in your pocket?!" She accused.
Aisha was gaping too but then remembered herself, closing her mouth and swallowing.

Kohaku shrugged. "Snagged it from that Eraser she dumped down the laundry chute, thought you'd like it," he said with a shrug, ignoring the sharp glance Max shot his way and the fact that Eva wouldn't know what he meant by 'Eraser'. "Besides, sleight of hand can come in handy at the strangest times," he said with amusement as he shifted his hand and pulled a neon blue handkerchief out of Angel's ear, or so it appeared.
Aisha chortled in delight, her ears perking before her food snagged her attention again.
Seemingly forgetting about the rest of them, she moved the gem around in her hands, watching the light play on the facets. For a moment light flashed oddly in her dark eyes before she blinked and seem to shake herself out of it. She sighed and looked up at Kohaku, "Thank you." She replied quietly before turning and leaving them to their meal, still cupping her gift.

Kohaku smiled at Eva as she walked away before he started eating as well. Afterward, the only sounds were of silverware clattering and food being eaten for a short time. He shifted subtly, his gaze rising before he frowned fractionally, his eyes narrowing as his sensory talent kicked in, his pupils becoming slits as he tilted his head, seemingly casually leaning his arms across the shoulders of both Max and Angel, the latter of whom glanced for a second at him before she continued eating.
