With a sigh of discontent, Riley stared longingly at the plushy that evaded his reach. It was for her, he couldn't leave it there, he just couldn't. She'd never know if he did, but he would and that would be too painful to tolerate. He wanted to see her face light up when he gave it to her, to feel that sense of pleasure when she would smile at him and say thank you. The Eevee knew all too well that he was head-over-heels for her, but he didn't know how to win her over. It was hard, so hard, to watch her around him. Riley didn't hate him, but he wanted to cry out in protest when he watched him and her together. At least..at least he wanted to be able to do something nice for her. Little by little he tried for her, but it was unrequited and he'd do anything he could to change that. He touched a paw to the charm that hung about his throat and sighed. He had to win it, he just had to. With that he tried once again... He felt a stab of pain in his heart when the claw pulled out nothing. His aim had been off, he hadn't done it right and now he had nothing to show for it. Riley's eyes flickered from sadness to determination and back again as he stared at the machine. This was stupid, why did it mean so much to him? He felt as though he was trying to prove something when there was nothing to be proven. It was so stupid, so stupid and yet he couldn't turn away without injuring his pride. He was a fool, but he got more tokens and inserted them without a second question. He closed his eyes and tried to focus, to not let his uncertainties interfere with what he was doing. It was just a matter of accuracy and precision. He carefully guided the claw of the machine, paying intensely close attention to the minute detail in order to align everything perfectly. Yes, that was right, just over it and down...down... "YES!" Riley couldn't resist a cheer of joy as finally finally his aim was true and the claw grasped the Pichu Plushy that had been his aim the entire time. When it was dropped down he pulled it out with a great deal of care, eyes shining with delight. He'd finally done it, and he felt an overwhelming surge of relief and joy. It had all been worth it for this. Fully satisfied and with a new spring in his step, Riley pulled out a bag from seemingly nowhere, not that there was anyone watching but it was a habit more than anything, and proceeded to put all his hardly won plush toys into it, placing the Pichu one carefully at the top. He didn't pay any mind to the fact that the 'plushies' weren't all where he had left them before, and that a few of the eyes that looked back at him weren't just sown on but glittered with curiosity and intrigue as they peered back at him. That would be a surprise for later. The Eevee made his way down the midway, dragging his exceedingly heavy bag behind him. Now that his initial goal had been achieved he was free to do what he felt like doing. He looked around, surveying the games with an interested eye. There were lots of things that caught his eye but the foremost of these was a giant multicolored wheel covered in flashing lights that was nearly impossible to miss. A Kecleon hawker in vibrant colors held a striped cane and was calling out to the various passers-by, "Come one, come all! Try the wondrous Wheel of Fortune! A winner every time!"
Riley grinned slightly at the sight of the carny and his sales pitch and shrugged. Why not? He was nearby so he may as well give it a shot. "I'll give it a whirl if you don't mind," the Eevee said, tipping his hat with a flourish before pulling three tokens from it to give to the Kecleon and donning it once more.
"Well now," the Kecleon said with a wink, "Looks like you have a bit of carny in your blood as well ay?" Riley smirked and the other Pokemon pocketed the tokens. "Here now, all you have to do is spin the wheel. Whatever number it lands on determines the prize that you'll win! Go on, give her a try." The Eevee nodded and stepped forward to stand beside the wheel. It'd be a little hard for him to give it the power behind it that it needed, but he'd do his best. With a sudden jump Riley all but pounced on one of the spokes of the wheel. The weight of his body caused the wheel to start to turn and he jumped off at the last second to avoid getting crushed and watched it spin. Round and round she goes. Where she stops? Nobody knows.
The Wheel spun and spun, until finally it started to lose some of its momentum around the 90s. Riley willed it to stop where it was, but it still had enough energy left that wasn't in his favor. It passed 100 and went back to the start, finally stopping on 20. "Congratulations!" the Kecleon said, positively beaming, "You win two tickets!" He handed them to Riley who took them with a smile. This game wasn't so bad after all. Riley Riley looked up at the colorful Wheel once more after placing the two Tickets in his bag. The Kecleon running the game eyed him with a smile. "I know that look," he said, "You want to give it another go don't you?" Riley grinned and nodded in agreement, doling out three more tokens. "Well then, be my guest," he replied cheerfully, taking the shimmering coins and tapping the Wheel with his cane, Have at it." Riley nodded and looked up at the Wheel's edge. With another swift leap he was clinging to the spoke and pulled it down as gravity pulled him down, setting the Wheel spinning once more. This time the results were a bit more favorable, he knew he wouldn't get a 100 but it stopped on the polar opposite side of the wheel: 50. "Well done!" the Kecleon commended him, "That's another 4 tickets!" Riley put them into the bag as he had the others with a smile before nodding a goodbye to the carny.  ::  ✗ Louvell :: Senka ✗"SAVE THE CHILDREN, SAVE THE CHILDREN!" Senka yelled, jamming in the last of the three tokens into the machine. In panic, she began to push and pull on the joystick, so hard in fact that in one swift motion forwards the joystick came off and stayed in her hand, broken clean off of the machine...
...oops.
She stared at the joystick, watching as the claw inside the machine twitched and spazzed about. Yeah, no, she totally didn't do that. Totally. She looked over at another machine, staring at the "plushies". More...more children...SAVE THEM!

Aku still had 2 golden tokens left over from before, and with her new tokens she rushed back over to the claw machine, wanting to try her luck again, especially now that the Igglybuff seemed to wander off. Thankfully, it had, anyways. She wanted nothing to do with that stalker. Jack followed close behind, but he had no intentions of playing the claw machine. He wanted tickets, and perhaps a TM if he had enough coins left over.
Aku inserted the coins, and stood on her tippy toes as she tried to watch where she was putting the claw. Jack cracked a small smile watching her, and was about to say something when she gave a small sneeze, and her face hit the button. The claw went down, and came back up with nothing. Aku turned to Jack and smiled, but he knew she was kind of upset. He handed her back the egg, and she went back to being ok. Jack led the way to Whack A Diglett, returning to visit his enemy. Perhaps the luck he got from the apple bobbing wasn't gone yet.

Jack raised the hammer as the game started, and was met with the same problem he had before. He'd lift the hammer and swing it down, but by the time he swung it down, the Diglett had gone back under the hole, and a Sandshrew would be in it's place. Jack's face remained focused, as he decided to play another round.

Jack started this game with reckless abandon, and did well. For a while. He got three in a row before tiring out, and getting no more. Aku cheered him on and would have given him a hug if an egg wasn't nestled in her arms. It gave a small kick, and she kept her wings over it like a blanket, keeping it nice and warm. Jack had some sweat on his brow, and he panted a bit before he caught his breath and nodded.
"What else would you like to do, Aku?"
"Uuuuhm....play a few more games, and then maybe head over to the social area and just chill? I'd like to do the roulette and the wheel, maybe."
He nodded and offered to take the egg, but she shook her head. Not until she was ready to do the rope climb. They walked over together.

:: ✗ Louvell :: Senka ✗This time, Senka tried it a calmer way, letting go of the broken joystick in her hand and grabbing onto the new, attached one. She poped in three tokens, and then looked at the glass in front of her. A movement to the right, a swish to the left, and she left the claw go down.
a small Pichu's paw latched onto the claw, and for a moment she thought she had it. And then...it let go. The Pichu looked at her and then, eyes growing wide in alarm, it let go while letting out a small yelp. The Pichu ran to the back of the machine, and Senka glared at it, annoyed. She reached fro more tokens, this was going to take awhile!

Eyes still closed, she went over to the prize flap. Yes, she had gotten one, she knew i- DAMN. She squinted an eye open, just to see that there was nothing in front of her or in her arms. She had faaaailed them, she had promised to rescue at least one of them and she failed! Alright, no, one more try, just one more...

"Ahem, hold that end and fling the line into the pool." He instructed, rolling his eyes as if he dealt with this every day. The equine nodded his thanks and tossed the fishing line into the awfully small pool. There was another small pool next to it, only with paper scoopers avalible for younger children who couldn't use a pole. Feeling something snag his line, he reared in surprise--
[Aaand, it's a catch!]
A feisty finneon was on the other line, tugging fiercely against Sirius's pull. Easy as pie, he plucked the fish right out of the pool and left it dangling in the air. He swung the furious creature over to where the teller had a bag of water open and ready to recieve the creature. Smacking the Finneon alongside the face, the teller quickly sealed the bag shut, tied it off, and handed it to Sirius.
"Nice catch. Be careful with 'im." The teller said in a monotone voice before jerking his thumb the way of the exit, now gerrout of here. Beaming happily, Sirius made his way out of the fishing area. That was exactly the one he wanted~

Sirius Sirius was walking down the narrow street, gazing absentmindedly at other Pokemon playing games, when a blaring megaphone caught his attention.
"Step right up, its the Tangela's Rope Climb! Reach the top to get a mysterious TM coupon! Only 3GT a try~" A Mankey in a bowtie and tophat was shouting, standing under a large arch that looked like a Tanglegrowth and waving frantically at the game. The centaur's eyes narrowed, the teller wasn't even a Tangela! As Sirius approached, the teller smiled and gestured at the game stand,
"You, sir! Care to try?"
"Uhh, okay."
"Wonderful!" The Mankey exclaimed, happily accepting the required GT. As Sirius approached the rope bridge leading upwards, the Mankey behind him said, "Uh, sir? You might want to dismount first..." He suggested politely, brushing the brim of his hat. Sirius gave him an oversweet smile, "Oh, but I can't." As the Mankey's eyes widened in realization, the equine made a running leap for the bridge--
--that ended in him sprawled on the ground, cushioned by colorful tough mattresses under the bridge. What was he thinking? Horses were certainly very cautious about anything that could harm their legs, as a handicapped horse is a dead horse.
"Ooh! You alright sir?" The game master asked. Then, his salesmen instincts jumpping in, he added, "Would you like to try again?"
Ouch. A bit too enthusiastic.

:: ✗ Louvell :: Senka ✗"Laaaaaaaady, is that the best you got?" Senka turned around, Louvell had finally come back from whatever he was doing. "You're doing it wrong, let me try" Senka popped in three tokens and stepped to the side, well it was worth a try.
The Poochyena, instead of going for the joystick, went up to the prize flap and walked right in (after some tight squeezing, of course). He crawled up into the machine, grabbed a Togepi by the hand...stub...thing, and jumped back down and out the flap, spitting it out in front of Senka. "You wasted your money laaady~" he taunted. Her eye kind of twitched, but she said nothing as she picked up the Togepi and looked at her, as if inspecting. She then put the baby pokemon under her cloak, going back over to the machine. "I wanna...I wanna win one for twice!"
