Mina would enter the room with her eyes open looking for her professor. She was new and that much was easy to see. She walked with steps of light and easy nature. She would look around again then stood waiting wondering what she should do. "Excuss me is anyone here? I was told to meet my professor for my first assignment"
((My apologies for the lateness, I was...sidetracked.))
In answer to the small child's question a small black sphere would roll into the room. Too late would she be able to notice that it was capped with a small ring of metal and a lit fuse. Fire sparked as it reached the bomb, the surface cracking instantly bursting and...spraying a light dusting of confetti across the floor as a small slip of paper with the word 'BANG' written upon it in bold red letters.
Suddenly an earth shattering explosion rocked the room, perhaps even the entire school! Coming from directly behind the child the shockwave would prove enough to knock over chairs, desks, and yes even her!
Windows shattered, rumble spraying across the floor as thick gray-black smoke filled the air. A faint cough could be heard, and as if heralding his presence a man would appear from within the smog. "Might have overdone it" He mused, a smirk appearing on his lips. Garbed entirely in black, the man's hair was of the same inky shade, his facial features obscured by a black half-mask which left only the lower portion exposed.
"Welcome to the Guard Team" The man spoke cheerily, delivering a stage bow in the direction of Mina "I am Professor Rook VonTrune. Pleased to make your acquaintance!"
Mina would be thrown down onto the ground as the explosion came from behind her. She would curl and spin as best she could to eliviate some of the shock wave. Her body would come to a stop as she looked up at the man. She would stand keeping her pain to herself, she had endured a lot worse than that. Though she had been taken by surprise by the other bomb. "I am Mina sir.. I am here to start my lessons and.. thank you for your welcome" She would bow to him lightly as she made sure her pain was hidden. She would stand back up straight and look at her new professor.

Mintie Usa
Rook's eyes would visibly narrow behind his mask, lips pursing slightly "Certainly tough enough...but you could stand to be a bit more awe stricken" The man would comment dryly, striding passed the girl and directing his body around the desk at the head of the class "After all you are in the presence of the Ebony Guardian, the Steel Shadow, the Academy's Great Wall!" He declared as he dramatically flopped into his chair, propping his feet up as he began leaning back.
"Well I suppose there will time for shock and awe later...for now I suppose you'd like your first assignment" Rook said, one hand rooting around in the drawers of his desk. When the hand return it would be clutching three PokeBalls, the items swiftly being placed on the desk, a Potion soon following "These will be your supplies" He began, shifting the position of his feet as he spoke "The location of your mission will be Beginner Island. Your task shall be to capture a minimum of one Pokemon, the maximum being however many you can carry" Rook instructed, gesturing to the PokeBalls upon mentioning the need to capture "Your secondary assignment will be to reach the island's second ring. Once there you must acquire a Chrone Stone."
Pausing for a moment, the man would allow the girl to digest these details before continuing "Once you've completed these tasks return to the Academy and I shall evaluate your catch. To reach the island go around to the back of the Pokemon Center building. Descend the stairs...but do not go to the bottom...and take a boat from the dock. A team of Water-Types will then toe you to the island" Again the man would pause, then arching a brow unseen beneath his mask inquire "Any questions?"
Mina would take the items as she listened to the professor. She would think for a moment ot herself. Do I have any questions no... why is he so longing that I be in awe at him.. he may be strong and one of the best here but.. still.... She would look at him with eyes of light energy "I do not have any questions, I shall go and not fail you my professor" She would bow to him and turn before walking out of the room. She knew she was not dismissed but she was a little too excited to wait for his order. So she was out the door and walking to the pokemon center and its docks. {Exit to Pokemon Center}
Mina walked back into the room where she had recieved her assignment. She looked around keeping her guard up watching for the surprise she suspected was there. Her mind was sure she would be in trouble for her failure, but she would not give up not yet she wanted to make her point true. "I have returned Professor..".
What the girl was met with upon entering the classroom however was very likely not what she'd been expecting to witness. Sitting in his chair, half hunched over his desk, Professor Rook was staring quite intently at a small TV screen. Though the television itself was turned away from her, she'd be able to quite clearly hear the words being spoken.
"We now return to Pokemon In Love..."
"It's over Rose. He's gone." - Male Voice
"...are you happy now? It's yours....all yours..." - Female Voice
"You act like I planned this. It was because of the rain, you heard the report." - Male voice
"You...you...!!!" -Female Voice/Sound of something being thrown.
"Getting angry won't change anything. He's gone." - Male Voice
"Who's gone?" - Different Male Voice.
-Gasps and Dramatic Music-
-Cliche End Credit Theme-
"WWWWHHHYYYYY!" Professor Rook cried, falling back into his chair as he shouted at the ceiling "Why must they do this every time!?"

Mina smiled lightly at this, as she walked up to her professor's desk. She may not have expected to see this but she understood his reaction. "Prof. Rook, they do that to hook you, and make you watch the next showing, I appologize for interjecting, but I came to report to you.. of my failure in the first assignment".
"Knowing the reason doesn't always make it better. Ignorance in many forms is bliss" Rook stated bluntly, firmly clenching his hands for a moment before adding "Ask too many questions, and you might not like the answers." Looking down for a moment the man would sigh, then reach out to turn off the TV via a knob on the front. Just how old that television could be to have knobs was a question for another time.
After this was down the Professor would reach into his desk, pulling out a single PokeBall from the drawn from which he'd retrieved them before. With a haphazard flick of his wrist the man would toss it toward Mina, leaning back in his chair as he simply stated "Don't miss." The message was clear, she'd be returning to the island again, but this time she wouldn't be as well supplied as before. If she failed again...well...that was a story for later.

Mina caught the ball nodding to the professor. She knew what would happen if she failed again, but she was going to do this or die trying. She turned closing her eyes then walked out the door hoping she would not fail this time. "I will do my best Master Rook". These were the words she left with. {Exit to Pokemon Center}
Yukia walked into the classroom for Guard Students and looked around she didnt not think much about what was going on but she did seem a little nervous to meet her teacher. "Hello is anyone here?" She called out as she stepped on in looking around again.
The moment the child entered the room a panel in the ceiling would open up, revealing the bright blue sky above. While this was interesting, it would however only take the girl's attention briefly as far more importantly something would fall through the hole at ridiculous speeds, giving a thunderous thud as it struck the floor, tearing up tiles and knocking over desks. As dust cleared, smoke would suddenly creep across the floor, hiding the damage but clearly allowing to see the object....a giant steel casket. For a moment silence would reign as the dust settled, until a black hand shot out from within the confines of the coffin, opening the door as if tearing at it, the groan of rusty hinges echoing as the door swung wide.
Eyes glinted from within, and moments later a man clad all in black would begin pulling himself free from confines of the box, and as he took that first step...he would launch forward all in one go, landing before the girl like a performer on a stage, a tattered black cloak billowing alongside the ends of his coat as the air-conditioner suddenly turned on full blast. "WELCOME TO THE GUARD CLASS!" He announced with a flourish leading in to an actor's bow "I am Professor Rook! I shall be your instructor in the ways of the Organization hence forth!" A black gloved hand would spring in-front of the girl, set for an all too traditional handshake.
Yukia would nearly jump at this and chuckled briefly. "Umm hello Professor Rook, I am Yukia" She reached her hand out to the gloved hand and placed her hand in it. She didnt know what to do but she was ready for anything. "I am glad to be learning from you sir" She watched him with a gentle smile and then she felt a shiver go down her spin as the fact he came out of an steel casket.
"Oh and learn you shall! For who couldn't help but learn from the famed Black Bastion, the Ebony Aegis, the Castle Dungeon, Akumu Academy's own Armored Shadow!" Professor Rook declared, crossing his arms and laughing boisterously. A low and slow clap would mingle with the sound, announcing the presence of another in the room. Several feet back, ankle deep in debris was a Bisharp, a broom cradled in her elbow so that both hands were free for the applause. The bladed audience member didn't seem particularly excited by the display of course, and soon returned to cleaning up the mess Yukia's new Professor had made with his entrance.
"Now then, on to business!" Professor Rook stated calmly as he strode over to his desk, opening the top most drawer and retrieving a small tray containing an assortment of items. Placing the tray atop the desk he'd then sit down, turning his attention back to Yukia "Your first assignment will be to travel to the Island of Beginnings. For this particular mission you will be provided with supplies " He said calmly, gesturing to the tray "Three Pokeballs and One Potion. Your goal on the Island is two fold. First..." The man began raising one finger "...you must capture at least one Pokemon while you are there, and two..." He now lifted a second finger "...you must find a Chronostone. Why is something you don't need to know yet. Where do you find it? Wherever the past lingers in the present...you'll figure it out" The man stated calmly, smirking a little.
"The pier is located behind the Pokemon Center located in the middle of Academy Territory. You should find a row-boat lashed to some Water-Types. They know the way" Professor Rook instructed, tilting his head a moment later "Any questions?"
Yukia walked over to him and looked at the assortment of items she would be getting for this assignment. She listened to his explanation of the assignment she took down what she needed to know and closed her eyes trying to keep it in her head. She took the items and looked back at the professor and then the Bisharp. "I have no questions sir, I will go and do my best to not fail you or the Guard team." She turned ready to go now and began to walk towards the door. "I will leave now unless you have anything else for me to do sir?"
