It's one and only haphazard swipe missing, the Chimchar slid to a halt. Arms still hanging at it's side as if limp, the Pokemon didn't move a muscle to defend itself. He wasn't even looking at his opponent. The flaming monkey simply starred blankly into space, standing there.

The Kecleon snorted in disappointment. Where was the fire before ...where was that drive that made her want to battle him? A single hit had drove it out as she simply moves out of the way of the mad charge and then she brought her claws up with the intention of ending it ...for good.
She sighed with regret as she struck out with her claws again. Her move was to dig those claws into the pokemon's back as deep as she could get it ...as there was now a really risk of death with that one scratch attack.

The Larvitar looked at the Chimchar oddly. What was the pokemon doing? Shouldn't he at least try to defend himself? Shaking off the thought, he then charged forward. He was ready to try and teach this pokemon a lesson. The dinosaur opened his mouth, revealing sharp teeth and intended to latch onto the monkey's arm with a powerful Bite attack!
Riku silently encouraged her Larvitar. She knew that he would predict what move to use especially since she had been trying to get him to attack already. She watched, violet eyes slightly worried but also knowing that he could fend for himself and that each battle was supposed to help him become stronger.

The female Chamander snorted once more as he came at her face, and instead of dodging she grabbed his claw in her paw. Even if it cut into her, she didn't care as she pulls him forward with her full strength and literally deep throated him right in front of his trainer .....as she actually purrs.
She didn't like being turned down, and even if she was going to kill him ...she would make sure to get what she wants before hand as she pushes him away with the flat of her paw.
Her next strike would be to end his life instead of simply avoiding any pain.

Watching the Kecleon move out of the way, Vulcan knew that his attack would miss. He had been feeling weak, and angry with himself that he let himself get hurt so early on in the battle… He kind of lost it and just charged towards his opponent instead of thinking it through. But instead of feeling the Kecleon’s flesh in his mouth, he found himself lying down on the floor. He had been going so fast, that when he tried to make an abrupt stop, his step faltered and he found himself on the floor. In a matter of seconds, he was back up and managed to turn around just in time to see the claws coming down on him. In a moment of panic, he decided to counter and tried to bite his opponent. Fable's tail fell limp against the floor, both his arms and jaw going slack as he stood there, gaping at the female Charmander. Never in all his battles had something like that ever happened...and frankly, he had no idea just how he was supposed to react to it...
The Pokemon's trainer held a similar reaction. Much as he tried to act the part of the tough guy, he was still a thirteen year old boy with little to no experience when it came to these matters. The mixture of his bright red face, and a twitch in his left eye made the child's expression almost entirely unreadable. Raven and Fable thought as one...how were they supposed to react to that!?
Biting his tongue lightly, Raven shook his head before calling out "Prepare to dodge!" Attempting to block or frighten their opponent hadn't worked earlier, so this was there best bet.
Flame flickering, Fable's tail flicked slightly. Strength returned to his limbs as he shifted position. Dropping to all fours the reptile darted off to his left. He'd just have to keep some distance between them...

The Larvitar's teeth would sink into the Chimchar's arm, perhaps a bit too easily, and a flavor like rotting meat would fill the Pokemon's senses. At the same time, his opponent didn't even flinch. It was as if the Chimchar hadn't even felt the attack!
"Scratch" Nightmare gave the simple command, seeming amused with the Larvitar's attempted.
Turning toward Ryuu, the Chimchar lifted it's other arm into the air, then brought it down toward the Larvitar's face. A very simple scratch attack.

It would work as Aella would drop from the sky her paws plastered to her ears as they were folded down against her skull. The sound wasn't just painful it was almost unbearable for the large ear pokemon as the girl would actually move to catch her before she hit the ground painfully.
"Humph, I might not be the smartest, but, if you walk around with safeguards all the time ....your pokemon will think that is the only way to live." "I plan to raise Aella to be able to take risks."
The girl declares quite defiantly as she released the Emolga back into the air. The pokemon floating once more, since they had been attacked it was now their turn to dodge as she raises her hand into the air.
"Give a good twirl, and stay out of range."
She say short and sweet. It was pretty much meant to be to the point.

"Castform, Ominous Wind" Came the voice's only response. Rather then putting some distance between them and their enemy, the Emolga had entered the worst possible place to be during her opponent's attack.
Hollowing eyes now glowing a ghostly purple, the air began to pick up into a powerful gust, little by little turning pitch black. In mere moments the Emolga would be beset by a powerful gale, yet from a distance it looked almost as if the darkness around them was the one attacking her!

The Bellsprout was faster due to it's increase in level as it started off with Vine Whip. The long vine like appendage would literally whip forward as it seeks to smash into the side of the Seviper ....a much easier battle in their mind, but what could be considered easier might actually be in the more trouble than they had thought.
For this Bellsprout look at them, and recognized their scorn for what it was. It was being underestimated solely on the fact that it was a bellsprout ....it saw it on their faces. And the determinations to prove them wrong grew quite strong.

This battle was going horribly. First he managed to Bite the fire monkey but it filled his mouth with the disgusting taste of rotted meat. Blegh! He'd have to clean his mouth forever to rid the taste. It was making him angry the way things were going. It seemed like the Chimchar wasn't even trying and did that mean that he thought that the Larvitar was too weak to even give a real battle too? Outraged, the dinosaur opened his mouth and lunged toward the other monkey's arm in a counter attack, anger helping to fuel his attack!

Anguish nimbly sprung to the side and used its moment to slither behind the Bellsprout. the Vine Whip collided harmlessly to the ground, coming nowhere near its intended target. "Swift! Let's do it right this time!" The reborn Seviper wasn't sure what he meant by "this time," having no recollections of the previous battle, but it complied, opening its fanged maw and firing a barrage of star-shaped blasts at the plant Pokémon.

This would be the first time that the Kecleon took damage as she drew back a bloody arm from where the Growlithe had latched on and she had to struggle to get free. The pain was clear, but the bite wasn't very deep as she snarl in his face ....she was learning that maybe ...just maybe everything didn't always work out the way she had predicted it to. She stepped back a bit as she let the pain start to dull itself as she stood more defensively even as she walks. Looking at this weak strong creature ...he had caused her pain, made her blood pump with excitement, but he was so fragile she could easily break him in two with a single hit.
What was this mysterious pokemon to her ....was he a worthy foe or simply a lucky fool? She couldn't quite put her hand on it, but she simply continues to walk around and around looking for her opening.

This was her death blow, and she hadn't meet a male yet that could get away from it as she gave a very pretty wink and then rolled her shoulders. Her tail would swoosh from side to side ....as her eyes sparkle unnaturally ...as she would literally lock eyes with the Charmander.
This was to be his death blow, and she actually walks straight up to him with her hips swaying from side to side. Her entire mood was that of romance as she did Attraction. As she said before, this was her killing move as she knew if it was successful he was all hers, and she could call this battle quits without having to literally take his life.
There would literally be little that the trainer could do but recall him at this point.
This was her territory, she offered to share, he turned her down. Now, she was making it clear, that this was her territory and since he wouldn't back down ...he would now submit to her as being the strongest and the one in charge here.
Even before his trainer at that moment as she worked on him from the inside ...out literally.

Ryuu would feel his teeth sink in deep, once again accompanied by the rotten taste; yet this time as he bit down, something seemed to abruptly come loose. Falling backward, when the Larvitar looked...he'd find the Chimchar's entire arm had come off.
Yet rather then bleed, or howl in pain as the Pokemon properly should, the Chimchar simply stood there. The Fire-Types features did not speak of the anguish it should have been feeling, the only fluid to leave the creatures body a thick green ooze coming from it's shoulder.
