Lifting the first vessel, stone, to his lips as the five drinks arrived he took a large drink. It really wouldn't have been good had it been acid. Thankfully he was lucky and it was water. Feeling rather like a water baby, one of those old dolls with water in it's stomach, he drank while wondering if there was a bathroom...or somewhere he could go. He was really going to need a bathroom once this was over. Aside from feeling like an over stuffed water baby he didn't think he'd get too far once leaving the rift unless he did find a place to go without youma seeing.
Groaning, eyes back on what could become a fight he drank the five drinks and didn't notice the same youma ordering more for him to drink.

Someone had something against him, they had to. The next time he grabbed a drink and took a swallow he wanted to spit it out. It wasn't the taste so much as registering, however slowly, what it was and just what that meant for him. Pouting at the wooden mug in his hand he slowly sipped it, nearly dumping it on himself as he tipped the mug to his lips and missed.
Five of these to drink...he really needed a bathroom and somewhere to lay down. But he also was still watching the General and Captain, as well as the youma which reminded him of the contents of a green house come to life.
Would it be wrong to whine about drinking so much and feeling bloated from it all?

Mica cracked a joke. Since she normally had as much humor as a graveyard, she was clearly being affected by the alcohol. Who knew alcohol could make people grow a sense of humor?

Mica stared at the water. And stared at it. And stared some more.
Why? Why couldn't she get more sweetness? They'd been so nice, given her so much, but then they gave her vinegar and acid and, and...
Mica drank her way through the steins of water slowly, wishing with each sip for more sweetness. That and that the room would stop tilting; it was really discosing- No, discinsert- ... It was disturbing.

Scoring a whole stein of that amazing nectar was a prize, indeed, and Howlite didn't stick around to get yelled at by whomever had left it unattended. Instead, she took it with her, sipping it as she watched some of the other officers mingle with the youma.
Everybody was getting nice and friendly.
Now, where the hell was Fluo?

That was about when she caught sight of Fluorite returning. The girl began drinking at the bar again, and Howlite whistled to catch her attention, two drinks in hand. A sip told her it was beer [Pabst?!], and she raised her brows at the captain.
The two youma had pulled her back to the dance floor again, and she lifted a stein to beckon her friend closer.
"Bring the house special!" After all, these ladies might like the acid filled steins Fluorite had refused.

Howlite had, indeed, lost the tiny general - that was because, well...
Nature called. And when nature called... you figured out youma taverns had no bathrooms.
Drat.
Fluorite had also learned that if she'd had to manually put on her uniform and armor every damn time she had to fight, she'd never get to fight anything. Layers, man. Layers.
As it was, the front harness and her shoulderpad were suspiciously missing when she came back inside. Trekking far away enough so that she hopefully didn't end up doing her business on anything or... anyone had taken quite some time, after all.
"Yeah, sure enough they'd flick the party switch while im gone." She muttered, grapping the first stein she saw and moving to down it... only to spit the one glup she'd drank in surprise.
Vinegar, ughhh. NO THANKS.
