[Stealth is right.]
The roof stayed low for the whole of the room. Even the stairs would be a tight fit for anyone of fair stature. The walls were barely far enough apart to fit a full grown man to stride up or down them. The smaller races, however, would find it comfortable enough without it being roomy. Much unlike the stairs of the mansion which could have, and did, easily fit, two massive Oruk's shoulder-to-shoulder at full height.
As Kere reached the top of the stairs she could hear, and see, two grown men arguing within an indistinguishable tongue. While the words sounded violent, the burlier of the two men, a Dorn, looked like he had seen a ghost as he was arguing with the stick of a man, Sarcosan by all looks. Be it out of sheer frieght of the unknown, or the fact that the skinny man had a team of no bigger than 3 orc heads, all of whom seemed to be fully equipped with armor, javelins, and a nasty blade, behind him.
The smaller of the two men wasn't without equipment, either. He held a dagger proudly displayed on the front of his belt, a mace latched onto the side, and a crossbow slung over his shoulders. While the burly man held a massive hammer, and an anvil in front of him.
The three orcs' eyes seemed to shoot right over to the stairwell, then back to the skinnier man. For the moment they murmured amongst themselves within their own vile tongue before the Sarcosan turned to the Dorn to resume the chat. This time with a darker, grimmer tone while the orcs seemed to prime themselves for the Sarcoasn's next words.
